Charlie started at Kumon Kingswinford at the end of January 2020, he was a few months into Year 2 of primary school and was struggling to grasp reading and writing, unable to read more than simple words. Efforts at home to encourage him had hit a brick wall, Charlie was getting frustrated and upset, which led to him not wanting to try any more. We were at a loss as to how we could help him, then a friend suggested Kumon. Since starting Charlie has progressed better than we could have ever hoped for thanks to the patience and encouragement of Emma and the team. Charlie enjoys his work and has developed a love for reading. Most evenings he takes a book (or 3!) to bed and reads happily to himself. Charlie is no longer afraid to makes mistakes as he understands now that it is how you learn. Charlie has very much enjoyed the online lessons provided during lockdown and we can't wait for his school teachers to see just how much he has progessed. I have just finished and passed my BS 2391-52 testing and inspection course with Nigel. I have been in the trade many years and had to get this course sorted to retain our NICEIC registration. Nigel has explained everything very clearly and precise and to be quite honest it has been enjoyable although difficult. Nigel’s standards are very high and he makes sure those standards are passed onto his students. Some of the ways of carrying out tests and checking to BS 7671 have made my future testing procedures easier and I have now moved into the modern century. I recently completed the City and Guilds 2391-52 electrical training course, and it was undoubtedly challenging. However, what set this experience apart was the supportive and friendly environment provided by Nigel the training provider. The course content was demanding, as expected, but the instructors ensured that every student felt at ease throughout the process. Their approachability and willingness to assist made navigating through the tough material a lot more manageable. The training environment created a supportive community where we could learn from each other's experiences and challenges. Overall, while the City and Guilds 2391-52 course was indeed tough, the supportive atmosphere provided by the training provider made it a rewarding and enriching experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to pursue a career in electrical Engineering.

I've never been more grateful for such an amazing team of tutors who helped my daughter immensely not just with her performance but with her confidence too. A big thankyou to Homers Driving School and Kal, my instructor for helping me pass my driving test 1st time and also helping me with completing pass plus. Top driving school and Kal is a top bloke. Very good in what he does and makes you feel comfortable and calm through your journey to driving. Only started in February and passed week last Thursday so i can't thank Kal enough for his expertise and motivation for you to succeed. He will have you passing without a dought.
