Would 100% recommend David, a lovely guy full of knowledge and took the extra time to put up the cable we needed too. Thank you so much.

I phoned Dave and explained I had a so called electrician rewire my house but left it incomplete just before covid lockdown. After lockdown I could not get hold of him to finish the work. Dave did me a huge favour by taking on a job someone else had started. He sent Rob who then had to pick up were the last guy left off. Rob did a great job and only took him a day to sort it out. Dave & Rob are genuinely nice guys. Thank you

Lovely little coffee shop. Great matcha! Sadly only oat milk as an alternative milk and the vegan brownie was a bit dry but lots of vegan options and staff are super friendly. Very welcoming and homely feel

Amazing place for a quick snack or a coffee after a day out. Lovely and patient down-to-earth staff. Would always come here if I could spare the time!

The best sandwich is the chicken with honey and mustard sauce. Absolutely fantastic. And to top it off we tried the pistachio cannelloni. That is to die for. I even bought some to take home πππ. Would love the ingredients for the sauce though, I forgot to get it. Definitely the next time we visit deal we will call. Excellent staff as well.

Frog And Scot Bar - Kitchen
86 High St, Deal CT14 6EG, UK | Restaurant P: 01304 379444
Rating: 4.3 (281) Price Level:
The frog and scot is a very nice bar/restaurant that serves french orientated food, which is a good place to stop by if you're in the area. On the inside, the atmosphere is very relaxing alongside the darker more moody ambience with the decor and the lighting which was very pleasant, however walking past in the sunlight, it's a bright and vibrant atmosphere which seems inviting. The menu was made up of bar snacks, small plates, larger plates and deserts, all of which, as mentioned before, is based around french food and cooking. We started off by having the tomato salad which was fresh and very vibrant in colour, and then shortly followed by the ham croquettes which were crispy and golden accompanied by an amazing filling. Then followed by the trout tartare which was a good taste of the fish but cut through by the sweet dressing and the cherries on top which gave a really pleasant balance to the overall dish. To finish off the smaller plates, we had the burrata which was extremely delicious, and the bavette steak which was cooked medium rare and was flavoured wonderfully with the chimichurri as a garnish. Then we had one large plate to share which was the sirloin stake which was my favourite thing there, cooked to a perfect tenderness and served with chimichurri as well with fries and a salad. Overall, this was an extremely pleasant meal, however if you are going here, do expect to spend quite a bit of money.

Well we were back to deal for our yearly motorcycle event, The Heritage Sprint, at betteshanger park. And our second visit to this very nice establishment. Even though the menu looked very similar to last year, if it ain't broke, don't fix it... rules here. Every single dish stood out, the lowly bread, was soft and tangy. Toasted almonds were soft and flavourful. Every little thing was perfect. Hannah was great and even though it got very busy, she coped brilliantly. Well done gang especially the chef. Why not put a flyer out at the next event?

Excellent restaurant in Deal. Great value small plates, interesting flavour combinations presented beautifully. Proper, life affirming food with a fantastic wine list at very reasonable prices. We were well looked after by all the staff, with special shouts to Isabelle & Cath for the attentive and welcoming service. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

Definitely recommend if youβre in Deal! Amazing and friendly service, atmosphere, and the food!! We had a few small plates and the sea bream, which was amazing - usually when we get whole fish we think itβs not good value for the price, but this fish exceeded all our expectations! Would come back again!

Just this restaurant alone is worth a visit to Deal. Outstanding, mind-blowing small plates food concept. It is very well priced with delicious food. It's probably the best food I've eaten outside of London. The service was also really good, kind, attentive, and responsive. This place is great for a quick bite and a glass of wine or a full sit-down meal with a variety of dishes, each bringing you on its own flavour journey. We ordered 6 dishes for 2 people plus dessert and non alcoholic Espresso martini, and we paid 74Β£, so it's very reasonable. If you are really hungry or want to taste it all, order the same amount. Otherwise, scale down to 4-5 dishes. The portions are decent. My absolute favourites were the blue cheese puffs, the chickpea puffs, and hasbrown with fish. However, it was really difficult to choose favourites as everything is just so tasty. This restaurant has just recently changed their food concept from 3 course to small sharing plates. Therefore, most of the pictures here are out of date. Check my photos to see the latest offering and looks of the food. This restaurant has both outside and inside sitting. If the weather is great, it is worth to sit outside.

Service was great, I ordered millionaire shortbread with a hot chocolate I was shocked that my shirt bread was over powered by cinnamon which I felt ruined this. Hot chocolate was lovely. My friend had a single sausage roll which i felt was very over priced

Superb Sunday Roast. Went back a second Sunday to make sure it wasn't just luck. Small but staff are very friendly and accommodating. I almost want to keep these roasts a secret, lots of flavour you won't want to go anywhere else again.

On a walk from Walmer Castle to Deal it was a perfect refreshment stop. Very good bacon sandwiches all around and good coffee and tea. There is a great menu for lunch but we were off out to dinner later. But will be back to ty the curried goat.
Rating: 5 / 5
Superb little cafΓ© that sits on the green next to the beach. A fantastic find that offers more than your average cafΓ© plus great views of the sea as you tuck into a delicious bite to eat. With jerk chicken and curried goat dishes as well as more traditional farye, you're spoilt for choice. The Jerk Burger is the best burger in town.

The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant
Beach St, Deal CT14 6HY, UK | Bar & Grill P: 01304 375555
Rating: 4.2 (282) Price Level:
We went here a couple of times for a snack at lunchtime and also one evening. The menu is varied and the food was very tasty and enjoyable. A good system was in use to control the covid situation. Excellent choice of wines here and good views of the sea from the outside tables. We liked it here very much.
Rating: 5 / 5
Wonderful English restaurant with a good solid menu despite COVID. Very good protocols without being too invasive but keeping us all safe. Go for the oven schnitzel or steak but got starters definitely get the mushroom toast, was totally unique and delicious. Brilliant staff and front of house exceptional
Rating: 4 / 5
Popped in today for late lunch, service was excellent and food pretty good as well. Love the loaded chips here. Great location and a lot of history to this old building. Foods good but was disappointed on my last visit as they changed the menu again removing a couple of my favourites. Can get extremely busy in the bar so sometimes it's best to use the restaurant, Same menu and better service. Had a Nice breakfast there whilst staying at hotel. Serves food there till late every day. there's a small public car park outside the pub or you can pay and display along the sea front behind the hotel. Dogs welcome.
Rating: 5 / 5
Nice seafront restaurant. Excellent food and wines. We had calamari and smoked duck to start and the traditional beef and ale pie. All were beautifully cooked. We chose an Italian wine Nero d Avola which we had before in Italy but from a different vinyard. This was much nicer.

Update.......food is no longer being served here........ Great pub in a prefect location opposite deal pier. Funky decor inside and nice little beer garden. Staff friendly, attentive and helpful. Good selection of alcohol and a great place to grab a lite bite for lunch. Public car park at rear of pub.
Rating: 5 / 5
Popped in to The Bohemian with the Mrs on an overnight stay in Deal. Despite the covid restrictions (which were well observed), you could tell this was a good bar well worth a regular visit. If it was local to me I would be there often. Nice quirky decor, very good choice of alcohol. Treated myself to a Chimay blue (9%). Good atmosphere, and helpful bar staff.

MBM Electrical Services
10 Cavell Square, Deal CT14 9HN, UK | Electrician P: 07872 917269
Rating: 4.4 (10) Price Level:
Have had MBM over twice, once to replace a converter for my kitchen lights and the other to create external garden sockets, both occasions they were professional punctual and very thorough. Would have them back any time
Rating: 5 / 5
Had a condensation issue in my kitchen and bathroom. Had MBM Electrical come around and give recommendations as to how to proceed. A recommendation of extractor fans was put forward. Had 2 extractor fans installed by MBM plus 2 external wall lights on the outside. Lights looks pretty stylish and condensation is now a thing in the past. Very reliable and professional company. Highly recommended.
Rating: 5 / 5
Very impressed with Martin and his team, very courteous and professional from start to finish, competitive rates and a first class service, would highly recommend.
Rating: 5 / 5
Matt and his brother Chris are absolutely first class. They completely rewired my 3 bed terrace house as part of a larger renovation including a complete satellite/freeview/DAB distribution system USB charging sockets and network points all over the house. He also completed the installation of the boiler (CH and HW) controls (which connects to a phone app). His quote was competitive however his USP is his willingness to solve problems with clever bits of kit and level of expertise on all things electrical. Delighted with my job. Can't recommend enough.

We didn't stay there, we went to eat. Ideally situated right on the sea front and 10mins walk from the station . It is a lovely restaurant and the staff are very welcoming , everything was home cooked even the chips my mum had with her lightly battered cod that was cooked to perfection it looked handsome , my Auntie opted for the sausage and mash which had a lovely homemade gravy but she could not finish it all as they are large portions, I myself went for the sea food tagliatelle that was absolutely cooked to perfection and delicious. The food is reasonably priced for 3 of us with drinks (and I had a starter) came to Β£57.00 and as I said all home cooked not yr average Jo pub food . Will definitely go back π― Delicious.
