We love visiting Quints. The fish finger wraps are the best around and Jo is a lovely host who always makes you feel welcome . Lovely views to enjoy across the creek too.

Lovely little find after a chance recommendation. Small menu and just filter coffee, which was nice but I loved the quirkiness of it. Had a relaxing time in a little sun trap and a wonderful cheese toasty. Would definitely go back again if I was in the area.

Loved it here, popped in with my young son who’s obsessed with Jaws and boats. He had a hot chocolate with all the ‘trimmings’ and we shared a delicious carrot cake and I had a good coffee. The location is very special, right on the creek, a really nice atmosphere. The owner was friendly and despite being busy with orders was really quick. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fabulous little hidden gem! Quirky, unique and very interesting. Great, relaxed atmosphere and lovely, friendly service. Well worth a visit :-). Only had a delicious latte and soft drink but will certainly be back if in the area again :-)

Quint’s Retreat is totally unique. I honestly don’t think there is another place like it on the planet. It’s a magnificently brilliant and fascinating and cute and interesting little cafe beyond Standard Quay just before you head out to the countryside, full of memorabilia from the film Jaws - which, if you grew up in the 80s like me was a staple part of growing up. But that’s not why you go here. You go to see the lovely JoJo and because she makes the BEST. SOUP. EVER. Who knew leek and potato soup could taste that good?! Such a brilliant experience that I’m grateful to have on my doorstep.

I have to say that today I had the pleasure of being served by two lovely ladies. Scarlet and Daisy. They were so welcoming and explained everything in the menu to me, as I am a partially blind veteran. They not only helped serve me. They also helped carry my items to the bench. Due to my disability this would have made it impossible with my stick. They simply are a credit to the hat hat team. I most certainly will be be telling all my chums down the veterans rooms about this most wonderful friendly location. If only others would follow in there clear professional work ethic. I was surprised they were both not in senior management roles here. Marvellous!

I found Prolectrical to provide an excellent service from first contact with their office, through to completion of the work - replacing a faulty down lighter in my hall. We had the BEST cocktail making experience with Laura from Wildbox. She bought absolutely everything needed for a perfect evening with her and decorated the table beautifully. All of the ingredients were locally sourced including garnishes and spirits which were from local distilleries. There were 11 of us in the party and we made 3 cocktails each. Laura talked us through the recipes beforehand and explained why all the flavours worked so well together. Each was more delicious than the last! I can thoroughly recommend Laura and Wildbox for a fabulous evenings entertainment. Just trying to think of another event I need to get her round for!

Wildbox offer a truly unique experience. Laura is a superb cocktail host. Cocktails were delicious, made with fresh ingredients. They were probably the best cocktails I have ever tasted. I asked Wildbox to deliver a cocktail class for my hen do and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Laura was knowledgeable, friendly and a brilliant teacher. The cocktails were the best we have tasted and many of the guests have asked for the recipes!!! Jack and his team have been superb when completing the first and second electrical fixes of our new build. Our house is not a normal build and nothing was an issue. Arby's Café is worth a visit. It's run by the same people as Brook Farm Glamping next door, and they are lovely and helpful. The café is right next to Blean Woods so is ideal to visit as part of a dog walk. The brookie is recommended, as is the nutella crepe. A lovely stop off.

Very lucky I stumbled across this cafe today. Spent 8am - 4pm working from here and had the yummiest food and very warm and kind hospitality from Clive (Owner) and Cyd (Manager). Can highly recommend the avocado on toast (with bacon) and the brie and bacon ciabatta. The world needs more cafes like this 🙌🏼 - I'll absolutely be back.

Popped in here last minute for breakfast as the other cafes were busy and rushed. Service was lovely, portions were generous and coffee was delicious. We sat inside but there was nice seating out the back and would recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area. Prices were really reasonable - I got the bacon sarnie and left full and happy.

My first visit to Whitstable. Decided that I fancied cake, as you do. Found this place that had a white chocolate and pistachio cake, couldn't resist. It was delicious! My parents had a massive bacon butty in doorstop bread with at least 8 rashers of bacon! Well worth a visit if you are in Whitstable 😁🍰☕

We called in for a coffee and were greeted by the friendly staff. We enjoyed the coffee and hearing customers around - they were all pleased too. There is a well kept area through the shop that can sit plenty of customers. It's lovely to be able support the local community and businesses.
