Milcol Plumbing and Heating did a brilliant job of our new bathroom. Joe and Marc are meticulous workers and do put their customers first. Milcol organised all the trades needed to make our installation successful; they also took the time to make a few suggestions they felt would make a difference: this included replacing the rather flimsy bath side panel provided with the suite we purchased with a far more sturdy alternative, they just went the extra mile with everything. We couldn't be happier with the final result if you are looking for a bathroom installation company that does the job to a high standard, with no fuss and organises everything. Contact Milcol. Should the need arise, we will most certainly contact them again.

Very professional approach to this project. Marc turned up when expected, quoted promptly, communicated well throughout the process and worked really well through the challenges that came up. Job finished on schedule and all clean and tidy. Great result - would certainly recommend.

I must say, these guys are absolutely amazing! From the very first meeting, they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and took the time to understand my needs by asking thoughtful questions. Dave/Down 2 Earth electrical was absolutely brilliant! I honestly could not recommend him enough for any electrical work you need doing in your home. I had some outside lighting installed that has completely transformed my home. All my friends I’ve shown can’t believe the difference it has made. He initially came round and gave a really helpful consultation where I explained what I wanted, he gave lots of really useful advice on the kind of lighting I needed to achieve what I wanted and then on the day the work was done he completed the job to a high standard. The result is just perfect. Could not be happier, 100000/10.

Dave and his team worked like troopers from the minute they arrived to leaving, often only stopping to drink a brew thrust upon them. They're attention to detail was outstanding making every effort and more to please us as customers. We were informed at all stages as to how the work was progressing and any issues arising. Dave was excellent with communication via email and calls, he provided clear and detailed information as to quotes and costings. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team. They will be my first and only call for any future works. Thank you Dave for an excellent job.

I asked Dave to install spotlights and an extractor fan in my bathroom. Dave came round and provided a free quote for works and even advised me to install fewer spotlights that I thought I’d need and saved me money. Dave was knowledgeable in relation to the different types of extractor fans on the market. I’d definitely use his services and would recommend for sure.

I am very pleased with the installation of power to my garden building which was carried out in a very competent and professional manner by Dave from D2E Electrical. From my initial contact, he was punctual and I was impressed with the quality of communication. Any queries were answered quickly and he always arrived when he said he would. The work was carried out to a very high standard and was completed in a highly acceptable timeframe. I can happily recommend D2E Electrical.

I was exceptionally pleased with the work provided. After initial work I was pleased to employ Dave again and I will do so again when the need arises. What most impressed me was his attention to detail. My house was built with, what turned out to be, a bizarre wiring arrangement linking the downstairs and upstairs circuits. The system defied all logic but Dave would not be defeated. He spent several hours trying to identify the logic and consulted with other experts. Many would have given up but Dave persisted and eventually the problem was solved. At my request, he also came up with a number of creative solutions for lighting which is very sympathetic with the rest of my house design. I would strongly recommend Dave. Apart from his technical skills, he is very personable, trustworthy and reliable. He is also an excellent communicator.

A truly lovely place to stay and relax. Breakfast was so tasty and varied. My room was clean, comfortable and loved all the extra chocolate treats made by the kitchen & a good old fashioned "choc tea cake" We enjoyed the garden & walked round the village as we were attending a wedding at Crown Lodge, thanks again it was very memorable .

We've stayed here twice now. The latest stay was for 2 nights for my boyfriends birthday which included a family Sunday lunch for 14. Staff are friendly, attentive & helpful. Food is well done & generous portions & and as a coeliac I was well looked after. Our stay was near perfect. Thanks to all involved 🙌🏼

We all know Wye is a beautiful village. But this little gem of a pub just makes it better. Have been many times now. And always have something different. The staff are just so friendly and welcoming. The food is just amazing every time I have never had a bad meal. My red husky also loves coming here on a regular basis just for the treats and attention🧡

It's a lovely place to stay, conveniently located near the EuroTunnel. Charming but modern rooms with a very cozy pub downstairs. All the staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the service was above and beyond. We had an amazing breakfast in the morning. Our only regret is that we weren't there early enough to enjoy dinner. We would absolutely stay here again.

Brilliant service and amazing quality produce. The lunch set menu is a steal for the quality of food offered here. We were looked after very well and the place was quite clean. The Italian vegetarian options were offered well and enjoyed the lasagne. The wine option by glasses could cover quite a bit more options, that was the only blip. Other than that, everything was fab!

What a wonderful restaurant. Kenny and your staff should win awards for such excellent food and superb service. We visited on the first night after a friends recommendation and had a really wonderful meal. My wife left her sunglasses on the table so we returned on the second night we were in Ashford for another wonderful meal. Thank you so much for your service and attention to detail. Fantastic food and service, great choice. The only drawback is their deserts. Presentation fantastic but expected more from tiramisu ( my favourite desert ever) , it's sort of watery & tasteless. I've tried my hubby's cheesecake and would say the same - not much taste either. Everything else as I said just delicious

I was incredibly pleased with how these guys helped my elderly father in law today. Keen to get his heating sorted after two weeks of no heating in his home. One of the best places in Ashford to have a nice meal. Portion sizes are generous and food is well cooked. The service is excellent with friendly, helpful staff. One thing I like is that the service charge is not automatically added to your bill. They don't really need to because the staff work hard and so deserve the tip. I had no problem adding it to my final total. Decor is good and makes for a nice atmosphere and relaxing lunch vibe. I will definitely be back.

A fantastic family favourite with excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, we visit at least once a week! Stubbs is hands down our favourite restaurant, and it's no surprise that we make a point of visiting at least once a week. The combination of excellent food, friendly staff, and a wonderful setting makes it a place we always look forward to returning to. What sets Stubbs apart is the consistently high quality of everything on the menu. Whether you’re looking for fish, lobster, steak, or a burger, every dish is faultless and always cooked to perfection. The cocktails and Guinness are always served exactly as they should be. One of the things we appreciate most is that you can order anything off the menu and know it will always be nice. The staff are another reason we keep coming back. Eva, the main hostess, deserves a special mention for the warm and welcoming impression she gives at the entrance. She works incredibly hard to ensure that every guest is happy, and her efforts don’t go unnoticed. Lucio, one of the waiters, is always cheerful, professional, and friendly, making every meal even more enjoyable. While Stubbs can get extremely busy even on weekdays, it’s not uncommon to see every table full, along with several large groups of twelve or more people. We’ve dined here both as a couple and as a family, and even though weekends can be noisy and bustling, (my youngest prefers the quieter weekday visits.) However, we are always happy to dine here, no matter the day, as there’s always a great mix of people and families. A standout feature of Stubbs is the absence of any "discretionary" service charge, which we often see added to the bill at some other restaurants. We always try to tip the staff generously because we recognise how hard they work under pressure to ensure everything runs smoothly in such a busy environment but it's so nice for you to have the choice of your own. When choosing foor our favourites are the starters of brie and toast, and tempura prawns, followed by the steak with peppercorn sauce and the Blues Burger often with a side of lobster. For dessert, we often choose choclate cake or the ice cream with brandy snap basket. We have also tried many cocktails here and the Mojito is one of our favourites. Whenever we've had a challenging week, we head straight to Stubbs for a meal that never fails to lift our spirits and round off the week on a high note. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Never knew in a million times I would find a good African restaurant in Kent. Just decided to take an adventurous travel down here and I enjoyed it🥺. The customer service was 11/10 and the food omggg it was great as well. I order the pounded yam and egusi soup and it was everything I expected, tried the efo riro as well and it didn’t disappoint. I recently hosted a birthday party for my husband at Jay’s Soul Food, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely amazing – every dish was packed with rich flavors and truly captured that authentic African food taste we were looking for. From the starter to the main dishes , everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. The customer service was also top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and they made us feel so welcome and valued. They were attentive, friendly, and really helped make the celebration special. I find myself in Ashford a few times a month on work visits; with the tiresome duties and/or responsibilities of work one always needs the desired refuel as well as good kick to the soul that Jays Soul Food gives to the palate. I dropped in from DurBar a skip across the street This week and I was reminded there is only one place to be and dine in when yearning Soul Food whether it be the offering of a Pan African Menu or right down to Montego bay with a taste of the Caribbean. As always it is a repetitive delight to dine in whilst in Ashford, as neither the Hilton and/or Travelodge I frequently stay in have comparable distinctive offerings served with distinction. Front of House Staff depicts welcoming diversity as well as Jay herself who is also caring and on hand ensuring everything is ok. Not to mention other patrons who were locals having a pint or two who sent not one but two bottles, one after the other of Premium Tusker Larger over to our table. Jays Soul Food is the place that keeps on giving! There is no place like this and/or comparable on this side of Kent!

Me and two of my friends went to this restaurant tonight. This was my first ever experience of this cuisine, and it was amazing. I had the beef suya with jollof rice. Food was perfectly cooked, tender, tasted incredible and succulent. Very polite staff who provided an amazing service. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with great music at perfect volume. The drinks served were great too. Fantastic price for the amazing quality of food we received. I will be coming here again and have recommend to others.

Amazing authentic food cooked with love. 10/10 I had the mixed meat pepper soup with plantain Fufu and more plantain. Meat was incredibly tender, succulent and flavourful, the broth had great depth with an unmissable scotch-bonet-pepper-kick. Amazing value and friendly staff.

This pub is a hidden gem. It is walking distance from the outlet shopping centre and fairly close to the Centre of Ashford. You wouldn't know it on approach but this pub has a serene riverside beer garden, traditional seating inside and a new (at time of writing) play area for kids. The food was excellent. We stopped for a lunchtime snack. Between us we had a fish finger wrap, a sausage baguette and the Cajun chicken and bacon salad. The salad was amazing with tender and flavoursome chicken. The staff were friendly, calm and couldn't be more helpful.

We’ve been here a few times now and really enjoy travelling down in our 1998 Rover 800. The atmosphere is always great and there are always a variety of customers! We’ve been in the week and on a Sunday which showed just how well this place caters for everyone from younger customers to older ones and families! We have been with our dog and newborn daughter. I have always felt comfortable there to feed her but ladies there is a comfy chair in the toilet and a changing station in the loo too. The staff are great and so welcoming. No complaints on the food either - it’s great. Ultimately it’s a great place with lovely staff and a good atmosphere catering for every customer! We look forward to coming again soon.

Such a cool venue! As someone car obsessed this is an awesome spot. But the food… I spoke to one of the young chefs and his passion for food was amazing. Great place with a real vibe to it, super friendly staff and lots of parking for bikes/cars which seems to be their main clientele. Has great outdoor space/beer garden. It's clean well maintained and well appointed. Food is decent and they have a few gluten free options available including Sunday roast. They have biker pins/stickers too if you like collecting them.

I recently enjoyed a Christmas menu meal with some friends, and it was a wonderful experience.I was happy with the delicious vegan options on the menu and my friends thoroughly enjoyed their non vegan options. The food was cooked very well. The waitresses were attentive, cheerful, and incredibly helpful, ensuring we all felt welcome and well taken care of even with my requests of extra gravy! Stopped in recently for a midweek meal with my partner and dog. Very friendly team who even fussed Tia (the dog) and brought her a bowl of fresh water. She loves them! The food was fantastic!!! The first time I've been here in a few years ,it was ok. The food was abit pricey and I wasn't a fan of the chips because they seem like they were cooked in a fryer? (tasted fatty) but were ok . Unfortunately the 2 puddings I wanted to try (my 1st and 2nd choice, not 2 puddings at once) they were out of ,and I'm not a fan of nuts , so I missed out on the brownie . But my friends had it and it looked lovely (if you like nuts), the tart ta tan also looked lovely but I had eaten too much to fit that in by that point. What I didn't realise was the nachos (specials menu) was a sharer ....but me being me , I ate it all to myself . The cocktails looked good too 👌 Plenty of parking, nice outside area and toilets were clean and nice
