Very good timber yard and helpful staff, No issues with them assisting to find the timber to suit your needs. Only slight problem I had, prices they display on materials do not include or indicate VAT to be added. I'm always happier when I know the actual cost at till when selecting items.

Always good timber and well made products, not the usual cheap rubbish you find in the larger diy stores. Made to measure option which is handy and plenty of stock of screws, tools, paint etc etc. My go to place for fencing, decking or outdoor timbers for the diy projects in the garden. Would definitely recommend

Great local store. Nice to walk around and browse a great selection of products, bought a lovely bench and small table, great quality and service was exemplary. Will be back for more we are sure.

Handy place for lengths of wood, fence panels, gates, sheds or wooden garden furniture. They also have a selection of gravel and post crete. There is a car park but you can drive your car around for the heavy stuff and pay for it at the end. Everything clearly labelled and helpful staff for any problems

Had some trees taken down at rear of property due to them becoming unstable and leaning towards neighbouring houses. Work carried out promptly and efficiently with no damage to any surround structures fences etc. All brash chipped and removed and mess cleaned up leaving the logs as requested. Very reasonable price also even removing a large conifer and chipping in with the original cost. Would definitely recommend and use again if needed. Nice to be able to support local buisness.

Recently had the privilege of having the Birtwhistle team carry out tree removal at my property. A full site visit and tree survey was conducted by Jonathan prior to quoting for the works and then a date was planned in. The tree team were all punctual, polite and highly motivated, from the start, their attention to detail was great to see! Extra care was taken to climb the tree and remove limbs before the main section was to be felled, this removed any chance of damaging neighbouring trees! Area was cleaner at the end than when they started! All waste removed and stump ground out, a top quality job!
