Just had 21 panels (split between east and west of my roof) and a large battery fitted by Russell and his team. The plan being to maximise the amount of solar I generate and combine this with a heat pump (being fitted soon by a separate national installer). I got quotes from a number of solar installers before opting for Starks electrical. Whilst their quote was competitive the thing which stood out most with this company was their knowledge and experience in fitting solar and I liked that they were a local company. I was able to make tweaks to my proposed system and get lots of free advice from Russell’s team so by the time the install went ahead I was really confident about my purchase. There was absolutely no ‘hard sell’ and I was given options for various systems at different price points which was great. The installation was very smooth. The team who did the install were great - worked really hard, were polite courteous and really nice guys who had years (decades!) of experience in solar installs. The system is now working great - even in October! I highly recommend this company.

Great service from Russell and his team. Everything was completed very neatly and within the timescale I was given. The electrician then came back separately to assist with my setting up the app so I can monitor as necessary. My electricity usage is now an average of 3p per day.

From start to finish it has been a pleasure to use your company to install the solar panels, Battery and EV charger. Was a couple of small issues along the way but you know you have chosen a good company when they pick up the phone , answer message and call you back.

1:1 barista course - 10/10 I purchased an espresso machine and grinder a year ago (La Pavoni). After many inconsistent coffees ‘and getting to know my machine’ my wife arranged the barista course for my birthday. The course teaches you the basic art of how to make coffee and how to adjust the flavour. You would think a coffee shop teaching people how to make coffee is counterintuitive, but I think this is a true reflection of their cause - to educate and have everyone drinking great coffee! The best coffee house in Sherborne….maybe the whole of Dorset. G and Alex are wonderful blokes who are chatty, friendly and really know their coffee. I’ve never had a bad cup and have been coming back for more for three years. The vibes are immaculate too and this cafe is dog and child friendly making it the perfect place to relax and catch up with friends or even make new ones. Highly recommend!

We contacted Chris to install electrics and network cabling in our new office unit in Bristol. From the first meeting with Chris, all the way throughout the project, working with Chris was extremely collaborative and professional. Chris completed the work to a great level of quality, and was flexible when we had to make some minor design changes along the way. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris, and we will certainly contact Chris again for any future work.

Very happy with the standard of work Chris carried out. We had a new fuse box put in, sockets installed and a fault with our shower isolator remedied; all done efficiently and very neatly. I cannot recommend Chris at Entrust enough. His knowledge is A1. His ideas and designs have the perfect balance to meet practical as well as aesthetic requirements. He is a very friendly and personable chap. He is very aware he is working in your home and we felt very comfortable leaving him to work independently and trusted him with keys to our property. His work standard is A1 as is his efficiency. His pricing matched his quotes and he went above and beyond in every way to make sure we were 100% happy with every aspect of his work. He was very tidy, always using dust sheets and vacuuming up after every visit. You wouldn't have known he'd even been here. We will never use anyone else. Do use Chris, you won't be disappointed.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and delicious dining experience at the Clockspire Restaurant this evening. Food was excellent along with the service. The old school building has been beautifully restored and creates a delightful surrounding and atmosphere, complimenting the whole experience. This has just become my favorite restaurant. We shall return.

Oh my! ♥ What a magical experience visiting The Clockspire was. Where do I begin to describe the care and detail oozing from both the staff and the food, it truly is clear to see, even the toilet hand towels were folded beautifully! We decided to opt for an expensive treat due to a special birthday, but the restaurant also offers a very affordable day menu, so I would recommend for both a stunning meal out and for celebrating occasions.

We had Dorset electrical out to carry out a full rewire of the property, we found the services very pleasing. Given we where worried about the extent of the works required. We ended up moving out the property while the guys carried out their work. They even found us a contractor for making good after. We also upgraded to have camera system installed with a wireless alarm too. Over the moon with the end result and will have no hesitation with recommending the guys at Dorset Electrical Services.

Margot has been running her cafe from this site about 8 years,so I have been many times in i think the last 7+ years... I live around 150 miles away,and hadn't been here since Christmas... So I got down about 06.30 this morning and had table booked for 09.30..... I can not fault this cafe,I tend to have the Spire Hill Grill and I have yet to have a bad bit of any meal. With the ever increase in cost of living,I was expecting it to be more expensive than Christmas 2022...but nope,same price,and I think it is amazing quality for a very reasonable price. I was with family that live in Dorset and visit this fantastic cafe often....in fact my sister was in the day before also. The staff are lovely...Margot (owner) is a true professional and has built her business up over the years,take look at the website,and the produce that have,home made jams etc etc,I understand they now have some of the produce selling in a local shop. The customers in the cafe are also friendly,and seem to know each other.... I did a review on TaT before,and I'm doing this update as and edit,my original is below. We had pot of tea and three coffees...the little milk bottles,the glass teapot are just examples of some of the things they do differently...and it all goes to show the love Margot has for food and service to her customers (friends) The head chef Eve (pink shorts ;) ) is also a little star,and has been with TaT from being tutored from as an apprentice to becoming head chef... And is a credit to Margot and to catering... We came away with a couple of pieces of home made cakes....and will enjoy later. I know before I arrive that the experience will be all I could reasonably expect,and could only ever leave a rate of 5 star.... Anything less...I'm my view is unjust. We stopped off here for breakfast at the end of a weekend away as we’d heard from our hosts that they did good food and were dog friendly. The food was delicious and great value. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we managed to pick up a couple of early Xmas presents for hampers as a bonus! Would highly recommend.

A wonderful find hidden away at Stalbridge Dorset we have a warm welcome and could sit outside or in the restaurant area, the menu had a good range of meals and the homemade cake where to die for. I am fussy about coffee this was good roosted by readscoffee.co.uk.

Ben came to fit a bathroom extractor fan and I was particular in what I wanted (a high extraction rate, loft installed in-line fan, on a timer). Ben and his staff are very friendly and helpful. They were quickly able to arrange a date to come and see what needed doing. Then I was given a wide range of dates for the work to be done, at my convenience. Ben arrived promptly and only took as long as he said he would to complete the work. He answered my questions, both in person and by email and cleaned up afterwards. We had four different lights that needed to be dealt with and now they all look lovely and work perfectly. Visited this delightful little shop/cafe on Monday and had a cheese and ham toastie and a piece of fresh strawberries and cream sponge cake and a latte absolutely lovely the staff were very friendly helpful and attentive lovely little establishment.I visited again this afternoon while waiting for a tarmac lorry for coffee and cake I had a piece of absolutely delicious lemon drizzle cake and we were served by a very lovely young woman again very friendly and attentive would definitely visit again if in the area and would recommend to others
