Friendly staff and lovely food. My coffee was also great. Have already returned already and suspect we will go again before our Dorset holiday is over. The portion size is good which helps if you've done a morning walking. I was particularly impressed by the salad that came with each dish - it wasn't just a few leaves added as an afterthought, but really complemented the plate. Hopefully my photos do it justice. Just updating my review on my return this year to Swanage. Java is still the best cafe in Swanage and possibly the best I've been in anywhere. Food is great, fresh and creative. Staff still super friendly.

I was there for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It had a separate vegan breakfast menu which was great. I chose the grilled mushrooms, tomatoes, spicy beans and avocado on toast. It was delicious. I also had two flat white coffees and a slice of chocolate cake with orange peel. The place itself was beginning to get busy. The staff were very pleasant too. Nice ambience. A bit difficult to find. A little expensive but worth it.

Visiting this cafe was the food highlight of our little holiday. We stumbled across it from their sign on the high street and thought we'd venture down to see what it was about and so glad we did. Service was great, food was amazing. The lovely guy even gave my daughter her own little soup bowl like ours. Really friendly atmosphere, coffee tasted great. We aren't vegetarian or vegan but would visit this cafe again when we travel to Swanage.

Recently discovered Java which was recommended to me. It’s fantastic, just off the main high street if you don’t know Swanage it can be difficult to find ( it was for me originally) the place has a real buzz out it and gets very busy The cakes are the best around ( I’ve only tried the cakes) they are just way better than the mass brought offer in most coffee shops I believe most are vegan and GF not something that bothers me, but is a big plus for many. Service is always warm and friendly. Coffee is excellent served in an array of decorative China! Without doubt the best in Swanage by far

I was faced with a dental emergency when my crown suddenly came loose, heightened by my concerns about a potential gum infection that I'd been grappling with. Fortunately, I crossed paths with Dr. Manish and his dedicated team, and from that point onwards, I knew I was in capable hands. Through several visits, which included dental surgery and a bone graft, the results are fantastic. I now have a beautiful porcelain implant and crown that have not only resolved my initial concerns but have also enhanced my smile. I can't express enough gratitude to Dr. Manish and his team for their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to delivering outstanding results. I highly recommend Dental Concepts to anyone seeking exceptional dental care.

Have recently had a back tooth root removed and an implant fitted by Dr Manish and his team at Dental Concepts. Was somewhat nervous beforehand but needn't have worried. The whole process was just so professional. The tooth root was removed and the implant fitted in the same 1 hour session with no pain at all during treatment and in the days after. The CT scan a week ahead of treatment enabled a template for the implant position to be made ensuring accuracy for the drilling. A couple of stitches were used where the root was removed and the gum is healing perfectly. The implant post and crown will be fitted in January to give the gum time to fully heal. Great job so far and will update review after my crown is fitted.

I started seeing Dr Manish Chitnis at Dental Concepts as I wished to have my teeth straightened by Invisalign which is a service not offered by my regular dentist. The straightening of my teeth has taken around 17 months to complete as Dr Manish and I wanted to achieve the best outcome possible. Dr Manish also performed root canal treatment on a problematical tooth which later needed to be removed. Whenever I have requested to see him for any reason, even in an emergency when I had an abscess, he has been accommodating in fitting me in with an appointment. Dr Manish's dental nurse Elllie is always cheerful, friendly and helpful and is always able to put me at ease when I am feeling anxious. I would highly recommend this practice.

By far the best experience I’ve had at a dentist. Everyone was so lovely and accommodating. I had to get my top two wisdom teeth removed and I am terrified of needles and the pain when injecting the anaesthetic, and they all walked me through it and made me feel at ease, and the extraction was also really easy and straightforward. 10/10 definitely recommend, my whole family goes here and we always have amazing experiences!

I never thought I would write a review praising a dentist. I was a grown up baby absolutely terrified of dentists. I would literally shake and make myself ill just sitting in the waiting room. However, I found Dorset Dental Clinic who actually listened to my fears and have now totally transformed my look. My teeth were so bad that it took a 5 hour operation under anesthetic to remove the lot and completely replace with new. The work is now complete and it has added a level of confidence and wellbeing to my life. I can’t recommend Cheryl more highly. I suffered for many years with facial pain. That is now a thing of the past as Cheryl has built up my bite. It really makes a difference to the quality of my life. After a lifetime of hating my teeth I now love them and am happy to smile. Resulting from orthodontic treatment years ago, I was left with ‘black triangles’ between my top and bottom front teeth. Cheryl has now filled in these in and my smile is transformed. I have waited until I was 59 to have this work done. I wish I had met Cheryl years ago.

I cannot recommend MouthPeace highly enough, especially Dr. Sherryl Colaco! They are amazing! I'm a US Citizen who was traveling across the UK for 2 weeks, and ran into a dental emergency halfway through our trip. Each day we were traveling 100+ miles, and staying in different towns. The pain I was having with a tooth was excruciating. We showed up at MouthPeace at 8:30am opening on a Thursday, without an appointment, and asked if they could help me. They made room for me in the schedule within an hour, and performed work that stopped ALL the pain, and prepared me for having a root canal when I get home. Rather than fly home early, I was able to enjoy the last 6 days of my vacation completely pain free. Dr. Colaco was wonderful, explaining the entire process, telling me what to tell my dentist back home, and even giving me copies of the X-rays to help with the work needed upon my return. She worked swiftly, smoothly, and did fantastic work of a seasoned pro. Within a short time, all my pain ceased! The entire staff was fantastic. They were empathetic to my plight, friendly, and I cannot thank them enough for helping someone in need, regardless of where they were from. You have my eternal gratitude for your compassion, and professional work. You all truly changed the course of our trip, and I directly owe my ability to enjoy it on your kindness. I have recently had a course of treatment for an implant with Mr Pinto and the experience has been fantastic. This is my go to cafe in Swanage! Ben and Sophie are so lovely and always serve with a smile, i always love bringing people to studio south because it’s such a chilled out and lovely atmosphere, the bonus being that their hot chocolates are the best in town! And the cakes are mwah 😘 👌 I highly recommend this lovely little cafe, it’s in the heart of Swanage and is just perfect. (Also dog friendly!!!) Well done Ben & Sophie, you are both amazing! 💕

Studio South is such a lovely spot in Swanage! The coffee is always spot-on, and the pastries are delicious. I love the cozy vibe—perfect for a relaxed chat with a friend or spending some quiet time with a book. Plus, their art supplies shop in the back is a hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit!

A food stall at the end of the beach, about a 5min walk. Outdoor seating but sometimes not enough as it gets busy, beware of the gulls!! A great view out over the beach & water. We had a bit of wait because they were flat out. It provides breakfasts up to 11am but you can still buy baguettes. Usual hot n cold drink, & other food, not cheap but you’re paying for the location.

Beware their hot food service ends at 3pm but if you're a few minutes late they're really nice and can make select menu items. Loved the chicken burger here after finishing a long hike from Studland

I broke a molar and was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t find a dentist anywhere so I tried these guys… I left a message and they got back to me within an hour. The lovely receptionist booked an appointment for me later that afternoon. The dentist then phoned me too to get more detail about my tooth problem which was a nice touch.I saw Shannon and her nurse who were incredible. All three ladies were very professional and extremely caring. I live over an hour away from Dorset dental clinic however would have no hesitation in going back there and am seriously considering using them all the time… They really were excellent. Thank you DDC… I have also just received an e mail from them with all the detail of my treatment including the picture of the x-ray they took so I can pass it on to my dentist to help him know all the information. Incredible service… Thank you again Shannon and the team.

Fantastic food. Every dish was special! What a treat. You do need to book in advance! Real good value too. We will definitely be back. The only thing that might may this place even better than it already is, is to do something with the acoustics. It was very loud … but then it was busy 😊 -maybe find someway to soften the noise. Wonderful dinner at The Narrows last night. A selection of their ‘small plates’ all equally delicious, some excellent red wine and a generous cheeseboard to follow. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, this really is a little treasure of a restaurant. Highly recommended, but do make sure you book in advance!

I am a very nervous patient following treatment received as a child in the 1960s. However, the treatment I received from Fernando for my dental implants was second to none. He is an excellent practitioner and has the ability to create an air of calm which would put any nervous patient at ease. My implants fit perfectly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and the staff at South Coast Dental. How I wish it had been the same for me as a child. Thank you to everyone at the practice.

Josh kindly fitted an implant nearly two years ago which I am very pleased with, I recently had an issue with the gum surrounding the implant. Josh and Tawf were able to quickly address the issue for which I am very grateful, the review was very thorough and I learned some useful tips on how to use interdental brushes.

I had 3 implants successfully inserted by Fernando a couple of years ago, without any pain. Recently I needed a deep cleansing treatment for gum disease over one tooth and again, I did not experience pain. Although I have private general dentistry, this is the only dental surgeon who has given injections without pain due to the use of a superior numbing agent beforehand. All the staff are very pleasant also. I can highly recommend this Centre.

Really pleased with the work carried out to install 2 x extractors and a PIV unit. The work was much more involved than first thought, and the poor guy was working in our loft on the hottest day of the year! But he returned a second day to finish up and the original price was honoured. A pleasure having you in our home and feeling the benefits of the extractors and PIV as soon as they were turned on!
