Excellent experience! They have Gluten free food, the waiters are very polite and professional, the inn has a good vibe overall. They also serve soups👍. Thank you!

We were staying locally and ate at the Royal Oak every night. The service and food were both excellent - highly recommended. Huge thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

I was staying at the Royal Oak for Easter, I pointed out a few issues and management could not have been more reactive and went over a beyond to make my stay enjoyable.
They hide their light under a bushel and are too shy to advertise their environmentally-friendly incentives in the rooms.
If you need to stay in Bere Regis, go for the Royal Oak, it is comfy and quiet and you'll get a great service.

Cannot score rooms as we did not stay here. Apart from this we did eat here and it was a brilliant meal. All four of us ate extremely well and went home very full.
5 * all round to everyone in the kitchen & elsewhere.

We were pleasantly suprised, good value food and drink, and both high quality. We visited during a circular walk from Wooders Campsite through to Bere Regis and back enjoying toasties and a cider here at the mid point.
