I have been a patient with the Dental Care Centre for many years and have always found the dental treatment to be of an exemplary standard and the staff to be highly professional and approachable. Lynn on reception is always very helpful and very supportive, especially where patients may be anxious. This is replicated by Marten and his most excellent dental nurse - procedures are clearly explained, methods used very up to date and efficient and when needed patient well being is a priority. Although I would prefer to be an NHS patient I have not attempted to leave this practice as the standard of care, materials used and professional attitudes are well worth the cost! Thankyou to the team!

I’ve been going to Dental Care Centre for 6 years now and Maarten and his team have been fantastic. He has done a lot of work on my teeth and it’s been excellent every time. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Lynn in reception is friendly, reassuring and compassionate. Would definitely recommend this dental practice.

After more than 10 years of experiencing less than professional (but very expensive), care at a succession of private treatment dentists, I have, at last, found one to whom I can entrust the care of my teeth. Mr Maarten Tonsbeek, at the Dental Care Centre in Canterbury, has transformed my teeth, to the extent that people are actually complimenting me on my "nice teeth". Initially, one is greeted at the surgery by the very friendly/nice receptionist, Debbie, who organises appointments in a very efficient manner, and puts patients at ease before treatment. I have now completed a long programme of treatment, during which Maarten has provided the best advice and dental care I've ever experienced. He explains the dental work in detail and the result of the subsequent treatment speaks for itself. Yes, private dental care is expensive, but, if carried out properly, it is something that is an investment in building ones long term well-being and self-confidence. If you want to be able to smile without worrying about unsightly teeth, then don't hesitate to arrange an appointment at the Dental Care Centre.

I have been using this practice since it opened and have had Maarten as my dentist for over 25 years. During this time my treatment has been excellent. He is not only very professional but an exceptional dentist. My teeth have been a challenge from day one due to my previous reluctance to attend however Maarten has changed all that. All the team are excellent and welcoming. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone.

I had check up on Friday and I was so nervous as got a fear of going to the dentist due to bad experiences. I was seen by dentist Friday and she was amazing patient and so understanding talked me through the whole process even give me soft apple to hold which tells me kindest understanding, all the staff are truly amazing and much care for there patients. Now I don’t feel so nervous I would 100% recommendation for this dental practice thank you so much

I've been using this practice for well over 10 years and have always been very satisfied with the treatments I have received. All the staff are welcoming, friendly, caring and professional. The dentists are easy to talk to and reassuring when explaining the treatments you need, which they perform quickly and painlessly. The nurses are very sensative and caring and put you at ease during the treatments. As this is a small practice I feel I get a more personalised attention and do not hesitate to recommend them.

Cannot recommend Bridge Dentist practice enough! They are all fantastic! My three children have been here since a very young age. I went for the first time in 8 years recently as was terrified, they were all amazing with me! Everyone is so friendly and patient! I have now been to the dentist for treatment and to the hygienist and feel so much calmer all thanks to the dentist’s and staff on reception just being so great, you can always get an appointment easily, and they are beyond helpful!! The best dentist practice!!

I am a very nervous patient due to bad experiences in the past but I felt no anxiety today at my appointment. I felt in safe hands and the dentist was really gentle as I have sensitive gums. He also offered a full explanation of what I needed and was honest about what I could achieve. I would also like to mention Faye on reception who was very friendly and extremely helpful with liaising about appointments. I nearly cancelled this morning as my anxiety was awful but this was unfounded. It was a fabulous experience x

I was amazed that my two brown mis-shapen teeth at the front could be improved so easily and efficiently by composite bonding. I had not heard of the process until recently, but Dr Arjuna transformed my front teeth within an hour! I totally recommend his service. Also his prices are cheaper than others I have researched.

I recently received treatment from Mr Miller for an emergency root filling. He fitted me in the same day unlike any other practice in the area. I am terrified of dentists but he immediately put me at ease with his caring and kind manner and great sense of humour. I can understand why he is so busy and several other patients in the waiting room commented on what a great dentist he is. The reception staff and nurses were all very pleasant, happy and couldn’t do more to make me feel at ease. What a great team! I’ll definitely be back and recommend to friends and family. I have always been an incredibly nervous patient when it comes to the dentist, therefore I have put a visit off for years. Finally succumbing to the wobble of my wisdom tooth I started my research on finding the best place for me to go. West Malling Dental was by far the stand out of the crowd. I had an appointment booked within a day of me calling, so only 24 hours of working myself up! From the moment that I walked through the door to be greeted by an incredibly sympathetic Tina I felt more at ease. Tina reassured me that I was going to be well looked after, and in all honesty, I was. David sat down with me and we talked about what my concerns are and what makes me feel nervous about the dentist. He listened and really took the time to understand, and was incredibly open and honest with me in return. David and the lovely dental nurse Emily, stayed late so I could have the extraction, rather than me come back another day, which I was very grateful for. From the first point of the examination, to having the numbing injections, to the x-rays, and then to the moment the tooth was out I was petrified, but I was so incredibly well cared for. I cannot really put it into words as to how I actually feel. For some a trip to the dentist is an ordeal but for me in the past it has been traumatic and has become a genuine fear. Yesterday, the fear was faced head on and David, Emily and Tina recognised that and did absolutely everything they could to put me at ease and reassure me. I cannot praise them enough. They are all truly wonderful people.

I always struggled to find a descent dentist until I found West Malling. The team there are amazing and always treat you with such care. Mr Miller is amazing at what he does and is so gentle and understanding. They put their patients at the heart of everything they do! Outstanding!

I hate hate hate the dentist. I didn’t go for years then I found a dentist that put you out. I went to him for 36 years . I moved to Birchington 2 years ago . It took me three attempts to keep my appointment. I have been three times and I can’t believe it. I am no longer afraid. The minute you step into the reception it’s calm and friendly. I go to the lovely Dee who has really put me at my ease I actually come out smiling. Only wish I had found a dentist like this years ago my teeth would be in a much better state. Can’t praise this dentist enough. 😀

As always seen within 24 hours if there's a problem. Unable to see Dee today but was seen by Devina and the dental nurse (Nicola) who put me completely at ease Devina talked me through what was the best treatment. I was nervous about not seeing Dee but will be happy to see Devina in the future. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and Michelle always greets you with a smile. I am very nervous when it comes to dentists, and in particular needles. However, Derek and his lovely dental nurses and receptionists were so warm and welcoming they made it feel as if I were being treated by old friends, I've never felt more at ease in a dentist's chair. To say I am happy with my new mouth is an understatement, it feels so good not to have to cover my mouth when laughing, or feel ashamed of my smile. Thank you 1st Impressions would gladly recommend
