I ordered two bespoke black oak finished plinths from Nigel to place under my speaker stands. I wanted to bring the tweeters nearer to ear level & provide further isolation from my floating wood laminate floor. The resulting improvement in SQ was significant. Nigel’s service is first class along with the quality of his workmanship. His prices are considerably lower than his competitors. Nigel is so helpful & I can fully recommend him.

Nigel was great - clear communication and everything went very smoothly. As for the platform, he’s a true craftsman and its shows in his work. The wooden platform he made for us with a white coloured transparent wax is stunning. What is so lovely about it is it’s unique - it’s handmade. Where else can you get something so functional and lovingly crafted. It’s improved the sound of my new Ruark R 5 significantly.

The cabinet is excellent quality, I love the colour. Nigel was helpful and kept us informed of delivery dates. We will be purchasing another for the en-suite!

I bought a pair of 80cm oak speakers stands. They were competitively priced; if you check out hifi specialist sites you can spend huge amounts. They are well made, sturdy and look really good. I was able to specify shade, edges and finish. The service was great, responsive and helpful. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend the Lincolnshire woodworker.
