Hidden Gem! Why have I not heard of this place before after living in Medway for 5 years… the menu has a lot of choice but opted for the Mediterranean breakfast. It was super tasty and cooked swiftly. The staff are very nice and polite too which makes all the difference. They do also offer cooked breakfast and egg dishes too which I will try next time. You can find a table yourself and one of the team will come to your table to take your order. If you are based in Medway and looking for somewhere new to try this is the place to be 👍

Absolutely loved our visit to Ramo's. The service is quick and efficient, the food very tasty and well priced, and the atmosphere exactly as I wanted for a Sunday morning. We both had omelettes which were delicious, they were happy to take slight off-menu alterations, and the food was served with a little Turkish twist with some delicious accompanying relish. We even got a mini complimentary fruit platter for dessert. My partner is vegetarian and it was easy for her to find suitable options on the menu that were tasty (and not just mushrooms!) Will definitely be coming back!!!

I've seen this cafe for many years, probably the last standing business in Strood high street from the last 25 years. I decided to visit finally. The service was brilliant, they were super attentive to my personal requests and made me feel welcome even though they were closing soon and the restaurant at this time was near empty. I was never rushed or made to feel I should hurry up! The owner Ramo acknowledged that he hadn't seen me before and recommended some popular choices. My personalised Turkish omelette took longer than usual to prepare and I could tell they took their time to ensure it was cooked to perfection, which it was! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will visit again. Ramo even asked me to sample their tomato based chilli garnish which was a homemade delight! This is a loving family run business who put quality first, hence why they have been around so long! A must visit and certainly one of Strood's secret gems.

Had the Chicken yoghurt kebab, served on a toasted pita bread and side of flavorful rice and dressed salad. Delicious and very reasonably priced for the portion size. Quick service and friendly staff. Combination of indoor and outdoor seating.. very convenient for cyclists passing through.

Best café breakfast I've had in ages. Good sausage, great bacon, great looking eggs! The staff were all super chill and the whole spot was a really warm vibe with plenty of casual conversations happening, seems like a really popular cafe compared to the others we past in Stroud. And I can honestly see why. Lovely start to any morning, no doubt! 4.7/5

Friendly staff, great food, generous portions and a really good vegetarian selection. I ordered my partner some meat options and some veggie options for myself and the kitchen team even bothered to ask if I wanted them in separate bags in case any of the meat sauces leaked in transit. Takeaway only so the atmosphere doesn't mean the most and the staff make it lovely but it could do with a refresh of decor.

Fresh and delicious! Quality and quantity! You actually get substance and not just sauce and the only place we know where you can order crispy duck that is crispy as should be, not dried out and burnt like. The staff are lovely too and big smiles wishing a happy birthday. We would never go anywhere else for Chinese food.

First time i came to Jessica and Jeff's shop by incident. Since then I have kept going back to their shop to order the food even though i live 15 mins driving away. The food they made is so yummy which feels like my mum's cooking. And Jessica and Jeff are such a nice persons which would take care of every customer's favour. I can't find any takeaway shop in Kent which can beat Golden River Chinese takeaway. Also, salt and peper squid, beef udon, wonton soup, hot and sour soup and crispy chicken wings are very deliciuous!

Nice and big pub with a good menu section of food.and all you would expect for drinks as well. There is a car park next door with a very good amount of space. The food they serve is really well portioned and is really tasty! I would even argue the portions are too big, but don't think it's a bad thing at all! The outdoor seating area is perfect for those summer days and the indoor area has a few TVs scattered around to watch the latest game should you wish! Overall thumbs up.

This pub is out "local" and we love it! The atmosphere is amazing, they have live music, they are very considerate of the surrounding neighbours, the food is great as are the selection of drinks. The staff are really friendly and in the summer the beer garden is great and in the winter they have a real fire. The only thing I would like them to change is to have some softer seats!!

Went to the Tudor Rose with my father in law one Saturday. We didn’t book and turned up just before the kitchen closed which was a shame but the staff were very nice and told us light bites would be available shortly. They came out with the menus as soon as we could order and the food came out quickly and was very good. We spent quite a few hours there and really enjoyed it. Amazing location, pretty pub, big beer garden, highly recommended.

Found this little gem by complete accident one Sunday afternoon. The service by the young waitresses is superb, they cannot do enough for you and I felt like nothing was a problem. Had the fish and chips which was a good sized portion and the most delicious homemade baileys cheesecake. Would definitely return.

This restaurant is STUNNING. My favourite place I’ve been to so far in Rochester. The only downside (for me) was the lack of main meal options. I’m not a fan of meat, and they only had meat options. The chef did end up making me a vegetarian option which was a cauliflower steak with roasted veg, which was really lovely of him. But I would love for a chicken option. The bruschetta was the best thing I’ve ever flipping tasted like OH MY. And the staff are WONDERFUL.

What a lovely place for Saturday brunch in Rochester. Very good menu options, including vegan and gluten-free. I enjoyed my pea and mint soup, and the staff was very attentive to my food intolerance. My friend enjoyed vegetarian truffle pastry with veg and mashed potatoes. Very nice and clean restaurant, lovely ambient and staff.

Very lovely atmosphere for dining out! Excellent service and food was just magnificent. The menu is very versatile and has many options, lots of drinks to choose from too which was great. We didn't have to wait long and the staff made sure we have everything we need. One of the best places to go to if you want a cosy yet exquisite evening. The location is close to Rochester castle so if you want you can have a nice walk after dinner. Me and my partner enjoyed every second. Definitely coming back again for brunch next time!

Great place for authentic Italian food. The pizzas and other food ordered like risotto were very well presented and tasted good. All fresh produce, the service was relaxed and friendly. Located in Rochester town. This was a perfect place for a brunch getaway. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is luxurious but relaxing. The service was spot on. Of course the food was nice and the produce was fresh. I couldn't fault this place. It's slightly pricey, but you pay what you get for. Highly recommended and will definitely get back. It's one of my new top places.

Had a great lunchtime meal at Thai Four Two in Rochester with friends!, service was friendly, and the food really tasty. Starters: PHLAA KUNG: Grilled King Prawn salad with a fiery Thai-style dressing, full of fresh kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, chili oil, and carrots. Packs a punch! 🌶️🔥 For mains: PLA RADD Prik: Deep-fried cod served with a tasty Thai sweet and sour chili sauce. Musamunn Curry: A mild coconut curry with a subtle sour note, loaded with beef, onions, and potatoes. Coconut Rice: Jasmine rice cooked in rich coconut milk—full of flavor. Phad Thai Noodles: Rice noodles in a homemade sweet & sour sauce, mixed with egg, bean sprouts, carrots, spring onions, ground peanuts, and a squeeze of lemon. Wish I could give more than 5 stars! What a great impression walking through the door. Lovely cosy Thai restaurant. Koi karp pond and several fish tanks around the restaurant. I walked in at 7pm on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. Really do call and pre book! I had a sharing platter starter, delightful. Main Phad Prik Khing with noodle. Did these hit the spot! What an amazing resturant, great value for money and service was top notch. If I return to Roch this will be the first restaurant on my list!
