Under new management!!! Highly recommend to try it. You'll not be disappointed. We came for family Sunday lunch. Kids loved it, same for me and hubby. Well done! Will be back very soon!

I might just order again thinking about this. WOW. What a great experience at this cute little restaurant in Rambsottom. The service was incredibly fast, and the waiting staff were attentive and courteous throughout the whole evening. THANK YOU. So welcoming, cheerful, and generous in their energy and recommendations, well done πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ The food was exceptionally tasty, mmmmm yumyum, the starters were delightful, we were glad we ordered the 4 starters to try. Go for their KFC, and that crispy pancake too, mmmm, and the Kimchi πŸ‘Œ can't wait to try more since there were that good. Each dish was well-proportioned, leaving us completely satisfied. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Korean cuisine with top-notch service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Yep, might just make an order again 😁

Well I thought I'd hate Korean food, but I loved it. I particularly enjoyed the Aubergine & Garlic starter. My friends had the pork dumplings and the traditional homemade Kimchi which they said were good. I tried the Kimchi which I think was fermented cabbage but it's not for me. For main courses I had the mixed vegetable Bulgogi which I enjoyed but it simply was sliced courgette and sweet potato, I think, ontop of sliced onions on a cast iron hot plate. With white rice, lettuce and small dipping sauces on the side. As I said, I was good but nothing spectacular, I've had similar with more vareity of vegetables elsewhere. My friends had the beef Bulgogi and chicken in an earthenware hot bowl.im sorry about the photo it was presented beautifully but I forgot to take a photo before they're stirred in the egg and sauce. They both said that this was the best dish and would definitely order it again. Special mention must go to the guy who served us, see photo, he was very friendly and helpful, explaining the dishes and answering our questions patiently. My suggestion, give it a try and see what you think. I also recommend booking as it was full on Sunday afternoon and he had to turn some people away.

I enjoyed my visit to KimJi for the all you can eat menu. The selection was good but not as much variety as other similar venues I have visited. The food was delivered promptly and the waitress was ever so polite. The restaurant has a few tables available downstairs and accommodated 8 of my colleagues across 2 tables. The food was tasty and fresh. I tried the squid and was pleased at the consistency. The beef dumplings were a good choice and the KFC chicken is a given! A selection of drinks are available alcoholic and non alcoholic. I returned home suitably nourished.

This was a new experience and new flavours to try! Fantastic value on the lunchtime menu and great choices. Very tasty and extremely flavoursome, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend the Korean grape juice, that was a revelation!

We met up with some friends at West Ivy. It was our first visit and we came on someone's recommendation. The Ivy is good to look at both outside and inside. Outside there is a nice garden with light and heaters if it's a little cool. Inside a modern feel to the decor give a nice ambience. We were shown to our table, given the menu and asked if we wanted drinks which we ordered. A few mins later our drinks arrived. Served with a nice smile and a good discussion about the menu. We made our choices and sat back with our drinks and chatted . The food came quickly and looked and smelled delicious. I have the BBQ chicken flatbread pizza. This was the best Pizza I've ever had. Super tasty, sticky and a great BBQ taste. Everyone said their meals were really great and would come back again. So I highly recommend West Ivy. Good atmosphere Good staff and a great menu.

Lovely meal and great service. Just one little moan.....one scoop of ice-cream is not enough with the apple and cinnamon crumble!! But all was delicious πŸ˜‹ Good evening out. Quiet at time we went, about 5-7pm. Has disabled parking and access. Very attentive staff. Millie being one of these. Good portion of food. Already sent friends in the past for rhe afternoon. Nice music. Might be missed because not a noticeable route.

Very nice restaurant right inside Red Hall Hotel. The restaurant space is not very big but moderately furnished. We had afternoon tea which was good but not very exceptional. The items served were okay but just the regular sandwich, Sausage roll, scones and selection of sweets. In all, it was a great time with my wife.

Visited for an Afternoon tea , requested a veggi one but requested tuna as well. The fafel was the best I've had. Prosecco was good coffee was good but a latte option would be good, lots of choice, and the host offered we could take it home of we didn't finish it. Host / waiter was friendly and asked if we needed anything else a couple times .Girl on the check in desk was friendly, big smile when we left and a thank you. Looked like they both were happy in their jobs.

Just had the Christmas Lunch with friends. The food was excellent and nicely presented. Service was good and the price very reasonable. A shame it was so quiet - they need to market the venue better. Overall a lovely experience.

Had a 3 course meal for 2 this afternoon in the Oscars restaurant inside the Red Hall Hotel. Very nice location, free parking and easy to find. Great selection on the fixed 3 course menu, had the Halloumi starter, home made cheese and onion pie for main and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Not too busy, staff were great and informative, had a very enjoyable afternoon with my wife. We will definitely return in the near future.

The eagle and child a few months ago had amazing food, probably the best steak in the area. We visited this week and we're disappointed with the food, the fish was double fried which was really crispy but the interior mushy, another dish was the chicken burger which it was great to see 2 fried thighs but these were really greasy. It was as though no time had been given for them to rest before loading them to the bun or serving, it wasn't nice at all. Only because of the first few experiences and the lovely staff can I say the rating is a 4/5 ... the latest visited is more 2/5 also because the menu was more limited and lack of beers and ales available.

We came here for a meal, 3 adults and 2 children. We had a lovely table, tucked away in the corner which was ideal for a catch up chat and to play some games at the table. We were warned that the food may be a little delayed due to a busy dinner service which was good to know but in fact, we didn’t wait too long at all. Our server was Troy and what an absolute pleasure it was to meet him, beautifully welcoming, exuberant and very attentive throughout our visit. Nothing was too much hassle and even though it was a busy evening, we didn’t wait long for anything. We also had two dogs with us and he told us where the dog biscuits were and was attentive to them also. We ordered from the children’s and main menu, all food was delicious. One steak was slightly overcooked, still very delicious, but as such, the team offered us a complimentary pudding to make up for it and were very genuine about how they dealt with the issue. We believe, the manager, approached the table to take our order and when we planned to order one pudding between us, she kindly offered us another to try and advised it would be on the house, a really lovely touch. The 2 puddings and some ice creams and again, the desserts were delicious. All round, a lovely meal, great atmosphere and made very lovely by the staff.

Eagle and child is a lovely pub/restaurant inside and out, large outdoor seating area with covered teepee (presume used during summer). Lovely food, great service. A little more expensive than average but the quality more than makes up for the price. Beers a little expensive again but exceptionally clean lines and great taste offset it to a degree Will definitely be visiting again.

The managers Troy, Kendal, and staff are attentive, well-dressed and well-groomed They are responsive to their customer needs, provide good customer service that is both courteous, prompt and quick, checking on their customers often; they make the 'dining experience' more personal, and are always willing to go that 'extra mile'. The food is of a high quality and has a good flavour, aroma, appearance, and texture. The Eagle and Child is a 'must' visit, you will not be disappointed! Can not fault the food and friendly staff here. We came as a group of 6 the food was delicious and full compliments to the kitchen staff, we each had different dishes and everyone was more than pleased with the food. Julie's team were very diligent waiting for everyone to finish and always being warm and friendly, can't wait to come back soon.

First visit to the Duckworth Arms, which didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the pub clean and well presented. More so was the food, not many places cook burgers "properly" but my tower burger was nailed. Lovely caramelisation on the outside and succulent meat juices oozing from the centre, great quality meat also. The cheese pie was equally as good, plus great portion size and value. Definitely recommend

I love this place :) the food is always excellent, I recommend the tower burger! Staff are amazing and welcoming, so friendly. You never feel uncomfortable here! Such a warm environment. Julie is wonderful and chatty and it’s like talking to a friend, Jack is great and welcoming, and the rest of the staff are lovely and welcoming too! Definitely recommend here whether you’re on your own or with your family and friends! x

Absolutely recommend. Me and three friends went for food, with a baby. Plenty of space to sit and space for the pram which is good, as a lot of coffee shops nearby are small when considering a pram. Food was delicious. Staff were very friendly. You order at the counter and the food is brought over in good time. Will be back!

My partner recently had her baby shower at the old bank for around 25 people and everything about it was fantastic. The food was brilliant and accommodated everyone. Even providing a personalised ploughman's board for a fussy grandparent! We had our own private bar and toilets and the staff were super allowing us to set up the room prior to guests arriving. Would definitely recommend having a gathering here.

We had the upstairs room for a birthday party recently and everything at The Old Bank was fantastic. All of the staff were attentive throughout the night and provided great service. The pizzas were delicious and there was a lovely atmosphere through the evening. Would definitely recommend as a venue for an event. Thank you very much!

Came here for evening tea with my Fiance and my little 4 year old child. Was served at the bar by a polite bar man called Tom he was well mannered and very polite. I had a carvery my partner tried one of there burger meals and our 4 year old child enjoyed her chicken piecemeal. We later enquired about booking for Christmas dinner later this year as we hear one of the chefs recommend Christmas lunch to another costomer and that they had already began taking orders this year. So we was greeted by the on duty manager called Ash who explained everything to us so why we was there we decided to book there and then for Christmas 2025 dinner. Can I just say that Tom & Ash are a credit to you establishment and we will be back again soon.

Visited for food on a Friday night whilst staying at The Village Hotel. We both had fish and chips. The food was piping hot and so nice. Not often you get such good quality food from a major pub chain. Would also love to visit for the β€œcuppa and cake” special offer during the week. Thanks Waterford Farm πŸ‘ŒπŸΏ

We had a very nice meal tonight with lovely food and outstanding service, our server Aedan was amazing he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us and was very polite and well mannered. Will deffinitley be back again soon.

Loved the White Rabbit! Brilliant service - the gentleman who looked after our table was very polite, helpful and friendly. The Food was excellent and the venue itself was lovely. We came with some friends and our two dogs and were made to feel extremely welcome. Would highly recommend.

Family was visiting from Florida and we decided to try a meal at Hearth of the Ram. Everyone had something different and there was no complaints. I personally had the beef burger with bacon and cheddar cheese. It was huge and flavorful. Chips were nicely done. Beer was good and cold. We had 5 or 6 different servers check on Us or provide things asked for. The price was more than We normally spend on a meal, but by no means felt they were over the top. I had read other reviews here with complaints about how long food took or lack of service. It was surely not the case on our visit. The place was fairly busy with people seated indoors and outdoors since weather was great. We had drinks in 5 minutes, our meals served at 40 minutes. Nice atmosphere inside the place.

What an amazing place. Really nice inside, food excellent, chef even come out himself and gave my dog a big bowl of his amazing beef. The Sunday dinner straight 10/10. Nice staff in there, Scottish fella and English lad bother really nice, makes a restaurant go a long way with a great service. Thank you again we will be back!!
