Well that was a VERY good experience. We engaged Dave to remove the original bedroom units and built in wardrobes in our bedroom. They also removed the carpet in this HUGE room and the stairs and landing. Work we would have really struggled to do. Very tidy, professional and friendly. All the units and a large square 5mx6m piece of carpet were carefully placed in the garage for selling on. Do glad we found him. Already earmarking him to update the en-suite!..

Employed Dave's Handyman Services Ltd to install a secondary banister for my wife to aid her mobility and safety when ascending and descending the stairs. Dave was very helpful, friendly, informative and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. Dave arrived as booked and on time, completed the requested work swiftly, professionally, courteously and to the highest standard. In all honesty everything exceeded our expectations and I cannot stress highly enough how much we would recommend Dave's Handyman Services and would not hesitate to make Dave our first port of call for any further works that we have that should arise. We recently had our bathroom and toilet completely transformed by Dave and Mark. As a result we now have a bathroom to feel proud of, rather than embarrassed, we are so happy with the finished work. Dave and Mark are master craftsmen and were happy to talk through all aspects of the work, advising as they went along. They are friendly and approachable, completed the work within the expected time and cleaned up afterwards. We have used Dave for a number of jobs around our home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Vladas and his workmen completely renovated my property and made it look brand new throughout, putting down joists and new floorboards, as well as wainskirting and new doors before painting and decorating. I must say it does look amazing and all my friends and relatives are very impressed with the transformation of what was quite a sad and old looking property! I was particularly pleased that Vladas allowed me to pay as he worked and even came with me to help choose all the items, letting me use his discounted cards to buy with. I can totally recommend his building services and workmanship... and I must say, a friendlier and more honest builder you shall not find! Greg

Vladas and his team have worked for me extensively over the last month. He has helped clear up after a leak, lay a wooden floor, tile the hall and lay a small amount of patio. I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough. He’s entirely reliable, if he tells you he will do something it will be done. He constantly looks to deliver the best value and will be honest about the best and most cost effective way of carrying out the work. Twice he suggested alternative solutions that were better value for money. He works efficiently and very cleanly and he leaves the site as he left it. His prices are very reasonable and he’s honest about how long jobs will take. He represented exceptional good value compared to other quotes we received. Finally and equally importantly he is a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much effort and he is always so cheerful. He’s also been so generous with his advice for other jobs I’ve been doing myself with lots of really handy top tips. Give Get a Builder a ring, you won’t regret it!

Review Fantastic service from the initial consultation to the final outcome. We bought a house in a terrible state and it all had to be refurbished , the Get A Builder Team listened to our needs and provided the professional constructive solutions. They have done an outstanding work from A to Z - kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting and plumbing, laminate floors fitting, stone tiles floor fitting, tiling the kitchen’s and bathroom’s walls , painting the whole house , fencing , they also refurbished the porch’s roof that eventually looked like brand new , they even fixed, painted and renewed the shed that we were initially planning to get rid off because of the state of it . To our biggest surprise they even came up with the solution of how to get rid of the damp in the house - we wouldn’t even have noticed it but the house was surrounded by this ditch of soil and it didn’t even come to our minds it could be causing the damp because of the poor drainage so they advised us to dig out the soil , install the drainage and fill the ditch with the cement. The Get A Builder service was prompt, reliable, reasonably priced , friendly , knowledgeable and professional. We highly recommend their services and would absolutely use their business again when the need arises. Thanks again !

i was having problems with extractor fan flaps loose in the wind, and david was very helpful in explaining the best product to replace them with and how he'd carry out the jobs. the price was extremely competitive, david was very proactive in finding an early slot to fit me in for, and on the day was more than happy to field all the questions i had. would definitely recommend!
