Such a welcoming location, friendly service and dogs are welcome too. A large variety of cakes and pastries to accompany a great choice of coffees and teas. Dan, Chrissie and their team keep the place immaculately presented and local artists' work is available for sale whilst adding interest to the walls.
We had been recommended to try 'Coffee in the Park' and we were not disappointed! Friendly, efficient staff and great food prepared quickly. The coffee was great too! There's a comprehensive menu and a large selection of cakes. Seating can be in short supply because the place is popular. The park and the coffee shop are looking good - quite a surprise!
Coffee on the park in People's Park, Is under new management. Another Dog friendly place too. Great food,service and atmosphere. The staff are very helpful. Menu catering for all tastes including:- Gluten free, Vegan, Vegetarian and Dairy intolerance. Ample seating inside and out beside the lake and tranquil views. Great for the kids, You can even buy bird food, so the kids can feed the duck afterwards.
Called here for a late lunch and was really pleased with the food, the service and the location. We had a lovely baked potato and tea and the quality and presentation was very good. Street parking was nearby and toilets were clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this cafe. Will certainly visit again.
Cafe has just opened here fairly recently and a warm welcome to all. Great coffee and selection of treats and hot snacks ( sausage rolls, scotch eggs, pasties etc). Dog friendly inside and seating just outside. People's park has been missing this service for some time now. With stunning views, this a great place to sit and relax with great refreshments.
