The Friars Tea Room at Aylesford Priory is a charming place for a tranquil respite. The ambiance is serene, offering lovely views of the priory grounds. The staff were welcoming, and the homemade cakes, freshly brewed tea, and hot chocolate were delicious. We regrettably missed the baked savory items due to our late arrival. While a bit pricey, it felt like a worthwhile contribution to the Priory's upkeep. A perfect spot to unwind and savor simple, high-quality refreshments in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend it!
For a coffee shop and cafeteria this is sensibly priced and good quality, friendly staff and calm and quite atmosphere.
Very kind staff. There are not many options, but what is there is tasty! The ship is a lovely little gift shop with religious based gifts, books, etc. I come here for my advent candle! However, for a location with a physical link to St Simon Stock, they have nothing for him. No prayer magnet, no symbol for him or candle, no books, etc. Always strikes me as strange!
Very lovely place to go for a walk and have a coffee. Food nothing crazy, but nothing else around.
