‘You’ll eat in the kitchen’ Silke said; well it was some kitchen. In fact it’s an enormous modern stylish room, specially designed for Adrian the chef to cook and guests to eat in comfort. It makes for a great relaxed atmosphere.
The food is imaginative, tasty and well presented; pub grub it is not. Three generations shared the experience of eating at Silke’s and they were unanimous in their delight.

We were thrilled to join Adrian and Silke for one of their test kitchen openings to their recently launched Supper Dining Club. We were warmly welcomed by Silke and shown their beautiful and peaceful Japanese Gardens before being seated in the open plan kitchen dining area which has a relaxing and sumptuous ambiance overlooking the garden and ponds. Our meal was excellent with some highlights including an unusual chilled cucumber and avocado summer soup with olive oil dressing and slow roasted smoked chicken done on the Big Green Egg barbeque served with crispy roasted potatoes and a broccoli and parmesan dressing that we had never savoured before. The whole experience was friendly, accomplished, delicious and unique. We highly recommend.

My family and I had the best time at Silk House Dining. They were so accommodating with our timings and dietary requirements, making the visit so special. We really enjoyed talking to the chef and his partner, making us feel really welcome. The menu can really be accommodated to your liking, with dietary requirements adapted (up to 2 variations). We’re a family of vegans and carnivores and they accommodated amazingly.
I would highly recommend for a special occasion and we will be visiting again!

This restaurant is outstanding, set in stunning surroundings. The food is expertly prepared right before your eyes with incredible care and attention to detail. It's an ideal choice for a large family celebration, accommodating a variety of dietary needs. Highly recommended!

Dining at Silk House Kitchen & Garden was an incredible experience and one of my highlights visiting Kent. It is run by this lovely couple, Adrian and Silke. They made sure we had an amazing evening.

We were happily surprised by their flexibility regarding our allergies. They provided a multi-course set menu for us. The food was thought-through and nicely presented.

We were given a tour of their serene Japanese garden, filled with koi ponds and wildlife. This added a nice touch to our evening.

We will definitely be visiting again for this experience!
