Had a fantastic time, even though the staff found it funny about my name being Sam Smith 🤣

Absolutely brilliant, I had the big one burger. It was beautiful. All the burgers were well seasoned and super tasty. All food came out hot and tasting exactly as I imagined. Brilliant service. Would definitely recommend if you want a family friendly restaurant with good food. I didn't get any pics, as soon as it came out it looked so good, I just tucked straight in.

I went to The Quills for the first time with my colleagues for a Christmas lunch. It’s a nice, clean restaurant. The staff were friendly, and the service was very professional. I had steak with potato fries and vegetables. There could have been fewer fries and more vegetables, but overall, we had a lovely time. 🙋🏼♀️🍀🎄

I love coming here for my breakfasts and lunches. The food is on point and just right for my speedy breaks from work. The staff are always nice and remember my preferences. They are timely and consistent. I would recommend Quills in Rochester High Street. They never disappoint. Cheers guys.

A great meal. Menu clearly labelled for gluten free and vegetarians. Comfortable seating. We were served by the lovely Ray who was friendly and efficient, made sure we had everything we needed and checked we were enjoying the food. A most enjoyable lunch.

Costa Coffee
Unit 1, Drive Thru, Arc Logistics Park, Snodland ME6 5SZ, UK | Coffee Shop P: 0333 003 5883
Rating: 4.2 (246) Price Level:
Drive through Costa. Speak order into intercom, use loyalty card, if you have, pay with card when notified (cash acceptable). Drive forward to window for collection. Easy. Highly recommend chocolate fudge frappe with a coffee shot, without cream topping for me. Lovely, calorific but a treat for today.

Dropped in to this costa on way to my sons . Nice lady served me but I think due to her taking drive in orders aswell on her earpiece and microphone service was slow and muddled with me . She was doing to much and forgot I was sitting in and put my tea in a paper cup .didnt bother me but the Queue started getting longer. I think should be least one person just on the till front with no mic as you dont know if they talking to you or person ordering drive thru. I felt like I was a nuisance ordering at the til tbh . I had to stand and wait whilst she went back and forth to making a drive thru order aswell as try serve me Not sure I'd go in here again cos of that. I could see it was too much for her trying do both poor lady .

Tiny Tim's Of Rochester
5 Northgate, The Precinct, Rochester ME1 1LS, UK | Tea House P: 01634 939031
Rating: 4.2 (208) Price Level:
What a lovely little find! We had 2 afternoon teas which were fab! Lovely cakes, sandwiches were really nice, hot chocolate was also fab! Highly recommend! Also lovely staff that were very accommodating with our little ones and our daughter had her first jam sandwich which she loved so thank you!
Rating: 4 / 5
Went here for afternoon tea. Prices around $25/person You get a choice of 6 sandwiches divided into smaller bite sizes for your group and an assortment of desserts and a drink of choice. The service and the atmosphere were great. The desserts were amazing. The sandwiches were not good at all in my opinion. I might just be a picky person but there was so much sauce and they all tasted the same and not different enough. Too much mayo for sure and it just wasn’t my cup of tea at all. I don’t think many Americans would like it. And even my British friend said it had too much sauce. I left and for myself another sandwich at a shop nearby haha but again might just be my personal taste buds.

I visited with my family and the first thing we noticed was the lovely ambiance of the restaurant, great choice of music playing. The staff were so attentive and excellent with the children. I started with one of the best Americano coffees I’ve had, followed by the incredible Big Tel’s breakfast - you have to try it! Excellent choice on the kids menu and we finished off our meal with the delicious fresh cakes. Well done to the team at Tiny Tim’s - 5 stars!

Went in to Tiny Tim’s for cream tea (7.5£). There was plenty of seating available- and the staff were full of hospitality and kindness. The tea room has a old school feel- with nicely done interiors. The tea room carried its history with it- and is right next to the Car Park. There is some outdoor seating as well (depending on the weather). The scones were delicious and warm- and the cream and strawberry jam added to its charm. The pot tea was one of the best I have had in a while- was flavourful and delish. The only thing- the crockery looked worn-out and could be replaced (maybe it’s because of the old world charm that they were still used). Would visit again. Thanks.

Brettington's Steak and Lobster House
79 High St, The Precinct, Rochester ME1 1LX, UK | Steak House P: 01634 400192
Rating: 4.4 (870) Price Level:
As always, top drawer... Doesn't matter whether I'm popping in on my own for a quick main course after football on a Saturday, or whether I'm in company - the warmth of the welcome from Ruta and her team is only matched by the quality of the food. - the two course lunch menu is extremely good value.
Rating: 5 / 5
Went here for a date night and had a great time. The food was amazing and the drinks were more than affordable. The staff gave great service, we’ll definitely be coming back. The Confit Pork Belly and the Lobster Thermador were the stars of the show. The Thai Prawns were cooked perfectly.
Rating: 5 / 5
Had a lovely meal in the restaurant with family 5 for a special occasion. The foods were brilliant display and taste delicious, specially in steak and lobster, the prices were good with the quality foods we got. Definitely be back again. Thanks for your attentive customers service. We had a great time!

Went to Brettington’s to celebrate a special occasion. Food was good but not spectacular. The steak was “medium well” instead of “medium rare”. Noticed it and called the attention of the wait staff. They quickly sent it back and got the order replaced. This time it came out exactly how I wanted it. My only let down was the mashed potato which came out quite stuff. Not creamy like you’d expect in a fine establishment. I must add that the king prawn starter is a must have. Very delicious. The staff were also very nice and lovely.

The Rochester Coffee Co

Rating: 4.4 (374) Price Level:
Amazing coffee shop and great for a light lunch. Two staff gave excellent customer service. We had goats cheese and caramalised union toasty, ham off the bone and cheese sandwhich and salmon and cream cheese special sandwhich. Washed down with 3 glasses of fizz. Very reasonably priced at about £10 per head. Very highly recommended and will be sure to visit next time in Rochester. Value for money. Probably best cafe in the town.

Super friendly staff, great food and lovely tea. Clean, modern and tidy restrooms too.

Great coffee and toasties. We come here once a week and the service has always been excellent from every single member of staff. Lovely friendly atmosphere.

By far the best hot chocolate in Rochester! Delicious toasties - highly recommend the goats cheese one and a great friendly service from Abi & Skye.

White Hart
Rochester Rd, Cuxton, Rochester ME2 1AD, UK | Pub P: 01634 789969
Rating: 4.4 (673) Price Level:
Slow service had to wait 20 minutes to order drinks, and food looked good but not as good as last time. Roast potatoes had a very hard exterior, so once in, I only ate the middle. I would say the veg was just blanched, so Al dente. Yorkshire Pudding looked good but was rubbery. The best was the roast beef and roast Lamb. The water for the table came in a nice bottle but inside the neck was dirty as if not cleaned. Biggest bug bear was non blue badge parked in the disabled parking space

This is my old local pub, and we recently held our wedding reception here. The service and food were superb. The staff incredibly helpful and made the day even more special. Really good value for money and our guests were really complimentary about the food, service and pub generally. Thank you once again to everyone.

Thanks. We stopped for a quick bite before a long journey. Very tasty, fast, despite the fact that many tables were occupied by large groups of guests. Very pleasant service. Nice garden and there is a children's playground.
Rating: 5 / 5
It has an amazing atmosphere, and the service is hands down the best. there were many waiters, all were nice, but we got surved by duggy. They were very nice and they helped so much(idk if their name is spelt right). I very much recommend the ribieye steak and the fish and chips overall amazing place ☆☆☆☆☆
Rating: 4 / 5
A nice little pub with nice indoor and outdoor seating and an outside garden area. The kids play area was nice but could be improved, very small and they have the space for it too. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. However the food was hit and miss. The chips looked very greasy and not at all appetising, a shame as they seem like a staple with most dishes. The mushroom carbonara and calamari were great. The staff member serving us was lovely. Prices similar to most pubs..

The Farm House

Rating: 4.4 (1176) Price Level:
We visited today for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed! We sat outside on the terrace in the shade which was very pleasant. Our server Damian was absolutely marvellous! He was so attentive and thoughtful! He heard my 4 year daughter say she wanted a Yorkshire pudding but she doesn’t eat roast dinner so when her sausage chips came out she was super excited to see a giant Yorkshire on her plate. This made me super emotional as its little touches like this that mean so much. He was patient and great with our kids and I am even got an extra Yorkshire because I didn’t get own that last time I was at an elite pub. The food was delicious, the children’s came out with our starters and our main came out shortly after and was piping hot and very much enjoyed by myself and my husband. All in all a wonderful experience and would highly recommend and are sure to come back soon. Thank you to Damien and all the staff

Had a last minute Sunday meal at the Farmhouse today and was very impressed! Fast service, tasty food which was piping hot. Very attentive staff without being overbearing. Family friendly, highly recommend, just a shame we couldn’t stay longer.

Went to our team meal and this was my first time at The Farm House . A very pleasant venue which has a public car park nearby. I chose the Terrine to start , Venison sausages and mash then Crumble to finish . Excellent 👍🏾 Staff are very attentive and friendly. Define somewhere I would go again .

Lenny's of Rochester
145 High St, Rochester ME1 1EL, UK | Cafe P: 01634 402227
Rating: 4.4 (594) Price Level:
Went for afternoon tea and had a lovely selection of food. You get to choose your sandwich fillings you would like from their huge range they do and comes with sausage rolls, lots of cakes and scones with jam and cream. We couldn’t eat it all so they supplied boxes for us to take it home in.
Rating: 5 / 5
Visited today late afternoon and will certainly return. The Samosa tasted particularly delicious but also enjoyed a pasty & Panini which were great plus drinks. Grabbed a Belgium bun & a slice of chocolate to go as we left and they too were great. Attentive service including recommendations as there were so many cakes we struggled to choose.
Rating: 5 / 5
The staff here were phenomenal. The service was impeccable. The food was exquisite. We were only going to buy a cake but we were welcomed so warmly with our little girl that we decided to stop and eat and we are so glad we did. It was so clean and every member of staff greeted us when they passed us. Our food was cooked exactly how we asked for it. The choice of sandwiches and cakes on offer was really impressive. We will definitely be back!

I stopped here with family to enjoy the Rochester high street, and it was a really great experience. The staff were so kind and friendly, and made us feel catered to and welcome. The food is really good value for money as well and the upstairs section has good views and a nice atmosphere. Lenny’s is a good cafe for families and those with kids as well. I would definitely recommend this cafe for those in need of an affordable, quick lunch or coffee break without the huge wait times of other cafes up the high street.

Jaggers
3 College Yard, The Precinct, Rochester ME1 1LB, UK | Bar P: 01634 780645
Rating: 4 (621) Price Level:
I attended Jaggers on Friday for my Mums wedding reception and it exceeded expectations. The venue was decorated beautifully. The food was delicious as was the tea and coffee. The staff who were working on Friday were amazing. Extremely hard working and made the occasion very special for everyone. We were all looked after very well. I would definitely recommend Jaggers as a venue for a celebration.

Excellent breakfast spot in the heart of Rochester. Just next to Rochester Castle, cathedral and the High Street. The service was a bit slow and the staff looked a bit junior. However overall I had good experience with the service. Food was really good. Traditional English breakfast with vegan amd vegetarian options available. I highly recommend this place 👌

Came here for breakfast for my birthday with my partner and loved it. I ordered a kinder Bueno crepe (not a usual breakfast ik ik I can't help myself) and it was amazing! Unfortunately I didnt have my h of a sweet tooth and it was SUPER chocolate-y but if I came back again I have no doubts I wouldn't be able to scran it in an instant. Both me and my partner ordered the smoothies (me; mango and passion fruit, him; mango and strawberry) only complaints was that the strawberry was very overpowering (were mango lovers) he also got the egg and salmon on toast, again no complaints. Our food came out at different times but I'd rather eat a hot crepe then a cold one 🤷🏻♀️ staff there where amazing! There the second we walked through the door, asked us to find a seat and shortly came over with menus. Did ask us to pay after we ordered but no problem there :) 100% would come back and 100% would recommend!! (I dimmed down the 3rd picture for the sale of an Instagram story, it wasn't that dark)
