En route heading back to London on a Sunday, we decided to grab food with us only wanting one thing. A Sunday roast. However with many pubs in the area we called around, checked reviews, even walking into some establishments that were always busy. On our hunt we came across TN1 Bar and Kitchen, and after visiting my outlook on bars has changed when it comes to getting a roast. Firstly when you walk into this bar, it's extremely modern, with a hint of quirkiness. It was nice & open with a lovely atmosphere that was busy yet chilled, and luckily a table of 4 was waiting for us. Whilst waiting to decide on our order we were pleasantly greeted and served drinks, before putting our order in which was easy from all the views and smells from other customers' plates. When your food arrives at the table so will a big smile on your face, as straight away the presentation confirms we made the right decision. The Pork Belly Roast dinner I had was not cooked to perfection, but is perfection. Everything on the plate held its own, dazzling my taste buds from every bite giving me that that homely Sunday feel inside. The portion size is perfect and if you have this without a starter, you'll feel more than satisfied yet in my case I forced what I couldn't eat as it was too good to leave on the plate. You can tell every detail was well thought through with the decor and menu options; wanting to give customers a great experience to ensure they return. If I lived near TN1, you'd find me here every Sunday without fail.

Great food, great atmosphere, staff are unbelievably good. Love visiting TN1 for a Breakfast or Sunday Roast. Food is always excellent. Can cater for small and big parties. One of my favourite places to eat I Tunbridge Wells.

My mother had an avocado & poached egg on toast & I went for the eggs Benedict. We both liked the food but were a little disappointed as our eggs were both slightly overcooked - yolk was not runny. Service was great & the establishment was well presented.

**update on today's visit** Great breakfast, sausages amazing, my wife loved her avocado and poached eggs. My only criticism is this venue in notoriously slow at bringing your bill over. It happens every time we go. Nice friendly staff, always polite. Not the most attentive out there. Nicely decorated, light and airy. Would recommend. ______________________________________ We've now been here on several occasions, day and night. Overall the service, food and atmosphere is good. The live music was very entertaining during a mid week evening. Some of the lights are at eye level at night, which can be dazzling, otherwise the atmosphere and ambience would be great. We had to move tables because of the lighting arrangement. The food is (nearly) always cooked to a good to high standard. The service getting the bill can be slow. Overall this is certainly a recommended venue to visit in Tunbridge Wells. Keep up the good work, a few minor tweaks here and there and this will be a fantastic place.

A fantastic dentist! I contacted Dr Patel at very short notice for severe pain, and he called me back very quickly, and prescribed me medication on the day! I am now in the process of getting full treatment. Barbera at reception is also extremely helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. I've had a few dentists over the years, but they really are a cut above the rest. If you can get an appointment here you are in excellent hands.

I went to the Aspen Dental Practice having had a very bad experience with the Hill House Dental Practice who look at patients as an ATM. Jay carried out the required dental work thoroughly and professionally such that I have not experienced any of the attendant severe discomfort I endured for a month prior to booking with Aspen Dental Practice. I could not recommend Aspen more highly for they are caring and highly professional.

Today I finished my treatment for Denture implants & multiple single implants, very happy with the results, was a long process. Dr Jay explained everything from start to finish. I had not been to a dentist for many years until I recently registered at Aspen Dental Care as I had an issue. Right from the start I was greeted with a warm, reassuring and professional welcome from the receptionist, which made me feel confident. Dr Jay Patel and his assistant Tayo were brilliant, really explaining what my issue was and how it would be dealt with. I'm really happy I chose Aspen and would definitely recommend. I’m posting a review because I’m so surprised at some of the recent negative comments. I have only been to Simon a few times, but he’s repaired a chip in my bottom front tooth with amazing skill, and was thoroughly polite and charming throughout. He also refilled an old filling with dexterity and without local anaesthetic. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Simon has been looking after our whole family for years now. I originally came in with a history of bad dental treatments within the NHS. I cant describe his exceptional work and care highly enough. I am pleased my children have such a great dentist. We are very lucky to have him.

Recently i had a problem with my gum which was causing so much pain even after a week of antibiotics so i visited Ismile..after X-rays it showed my tooth had to be removed. … i was petrified having never had any dental treatment except cleaning ! I am happy to say ….The extraction of my molar was simply amazing … painless, efficient and Simon was caring all the way through. Thank you Simon and all the staff!

This place is absolutely amazing. If you are in the area you have to try it. The restaurant has a lovely location in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. Mediterranean cuisine is about great taste and healthy food. If you step in the decorations and lights are making you feel calm and welcomed. The staff are lovely and eager to help. The place is very clean and tidy. The food is excellent made from fresh ingredients. Portions are considerable. Also Sunday they serve Sunday roast. We are looking forward to visiting this place again.

Delicious and tasty food in a cozy lovely place. We had a dish for two, which was a mixed grill platter and the portions were very generous, our group was 3 people and we couldn't finish everything on the plate. The lamb chops were really good, the ribs just tasted amazing, the hummus had perfect texture and their pita bread was very soft and delicious. We received great service from the staff as well, who even helped us book a taxi when we were leaving. Highly recommend it!

First visit to this restaurant. We went for a family dinner. Turned up without reservations but we were welcomed and seated. We ordered mixed chicken sharing kebab. It was delicious and very tasty. Service is fast could be more smiley and friendly. The food was prepared quickly. It’s priced reasonably. Inside is modern, clean and interior is airy. It has a nice small outside area.

I visited this place for the first time with three other people. We all enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. However, the music was uncomfortably loud, making it difficult for us to have a conversation without shouting. This ultimately ruined our experience, and we decided to skip dessert and leave early because we were getting headaches. As much as we appreciated the quality of the food, the convenient location, and the good service, the excessively loud music means I won’t be returning.”

We have visited this restaurant several times and we cannot fault it. The staff are friendly , on the ball, keeping the place clean, the food is delicious!! The atmosphere is always lovely and fun, great music!! We stayed in their rooms once which were beautifully presented and clean. Perfectly located if you fancy a walk into the centre or going on the Spa Valley steam train. Delicious breakfast!!

First time visiting and WOW what an experience. Brilliant food, good portion sizes, tasty sauce and excellent customer service to top it all. As we walked in, I rather sarcastically exclaimed “wouldn’t be surprised to see cowboy hats and boots here” and to my surprise that’s exactly what all the team were wearing, and the general vibe and energy matched! Lovely experience and will be returning!

Another great dining experience for a group lunch a couple of weekends ago. Manager was particularly helpful as they had run out of Champagne, except DP. He kindly found another bottle not on the wine list which he offered to us at a discounted price. The food was great, specifically the crab with Tabasco. Only blip on the landscape was the mussel dish which was a little bland. Particular mention to our waiter Simon who was so helpful and made an impression with the whole table.

I had the sincere pleasure of photographing a wedding here in June of this year (2024). As a Kent resident and local wedding and family photographer, I was so looking forward to working at The Beacon - having heard many good things about it through other photographers, and it did not disappoint! The staff were incredible! So welcoming, friendly and impeccably organised! I now understand why so many enjoy visiting and working at this venue. The grounds are stunning. It truly is the most impressive and beautiful location/backdrop for a wedding. Especially during the Spring/Summer months!I can't say enough nice things about it and I very much hope to have the pleasure of returning again in the future. Thank you to the wonderful staff at The Beacon for making my first wedding there one to remember for all the right reasons! To any prospective couples looking for a country garden-inspired wedding venue in the heart of Kent - I have a strong feeling that you will simply love The Beacon!

Well, this has to be one of the nicest places to visit on a trip to Royal Tunbridge Wells. The food and service was of an exceptional standard. The ambience is perfect. We only popped in for a lunch. Best burger I've had in such a long time. Big compliments to the chef and waiting staff!

The food was really good. However I’m going to mention the service. Lucy P was brilliant. It was a busy Xmas lunch with work colleagues and Lucy navigated around all our requests and never got it wrong! She remembered orders without writing it down. Friendly and smiling. The reason. What a find! We were struggling to locate anywhere with the kitchen open for late lunch (that wasn’t a cafe serving sandwiches) and got very lucky with the white bear. Dog friendly and super attentive from the moment we walked in from the cold rainy outdoors. Dog water and adorable treats brought to us the second we sat down 🧡 The atmosphere is super cosy with lovely low lighting and candles on every table - really calm and relaxing. The food was super lovely, enjoyed a generous portion of fish and chips from their lunch menu and left feeling stuffed! The staff were fantastic and very friendly, checking in on us to bring our courses within perfect timing. Ignore the other horrible reviews and go have a brilliant pub lunch at this spot, won’t disappoint 👌🏼

Even when there was a problem the young lady dealt with it as promptly as she possibly could given the amount of people pulling her in ever single direction possible. A lovely bar and restaurant. The roof is open at the back and it was a lovely sunny day. This is what we’d call a posh pub as the food is at treat prices with a rib eye steak being £37. Good service, great food and attentive service. A little pricey.

I've been here three times. The first time in 2016, then mid-2023, and now mid-2024. My second visit was a huge improvement and the food delicious, especially the pork cheek starter. Excellent service as well. Cheapest bottle of wine is about £26, going up to something like £300. Meal for two was about £125 including tip, which included starter, main and a bottle of wine. Most recent visit seemed like it had gone downhill slightly. Service seemed a bit lacking - they were friendly but it felt a bit forced.

I have been visiting The Warren for years, they won my heart. The food is exceptional, service is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is welcoming and simply enchanting. I have hosted many successful events at this stunning restaurant (at no hire charge) business meetings/socials, family lunches and more intimate meals with loved ones. The attention to detail makes each visit and course special. My dietary requirements have evolved over the years and I have always felt appreciated and catered for with love. If you have any questions just give them a call! You’ll be thrilled you did.

Visited on a Friday night by reservation. I felt so well looked after here. I suffer allergies, gluten, peanuts, and shellfish, and felt confident to eat here without compromising on taste. I ordered the lamb and chocolate brownie and it was a delight on every mouthful, so many different flavours abd textures that all complimented each other. The staff were all very professional, and the atmosphere was calm and not too noisy, so I could easily have a conversation with my husband without having to talk louder. The chef also came out at the end, which was a delight to talk to him. Would definitely recommend.

Nick Ghateh at Bupa Dental Care Tunbridge Wells is an experienced dentist with over 35 year experience. I had to have two wisdom teeth removed because the were starting to grow sideways. The care that he puts into putting a patient's mind at rest is extraordinary even before the procedure begins. I was reassured by the wealth of experience knowing that I can be at times an uneasy patient. He had explained to me what it entails and went smooth I had my first one removed in May and went back yesterday to have the other one removed . I would highly recommend his practice if you're looking for a reliable dentist and a pleasant experience.

Jay is amazing as always! Both him and the dental nurse always make me feel welcome and involved in my own dental health. He also gives me great advice regarding my teeth. (Side note: I have had an extraction, I was terrified of having it done but it couldn't have gone any better - the support was fantastic). Great team overall!
