Really lovely meal in an restaurant with great service and atmosphere. The Korean sticky pork belly was a particular highlight, but it was all great!

One of the best restaurants we tried in Deal. Food was exceptional, service very good, and a great atmosphere. The staff were willing to adjust the meals, to suit dietary requirements without a problem. Prices are very reasonable, and there are some good beers available.

Arrived at this friendly, intimate place after a long drive from Hampshire. We were so impressed with the knowledgeable, hands on service and the quality of the food. The sea bass and catch of the day were perfectly cooked. My son's steak was the exact temperature. It was so amazing to have the ability to eat as well as relax after our journey in the more than capable hands of the staff here at 81 Beach Street. Divine!

An absolute 5 star experience! 81 Beach Street was our first meal out on our trip to Deal from India, and it absolutely did not disappoint. We loved the food so much, we ate here twice! The food was fresh and tasted great. Honestly such perfect dishes. The ambience was nice and cosy. The servers were so helpful and polite. Cannot wait to be back again. Highly recommend!

Lovely evening, delicious food. We both had the crab starter, I had the fresh sea bream, husband had the burger. Friendly staff especially our 18 year old male waiter. đ

Kings Coffee Shop

Rating: 4.7 (423) Price Level:
This is one of the originals. Fantastic family run friendly cafe , still keeping prices affordable for everyone. There is a lovely nostalgic feel to this place and all the staff are so friendly. Food was spot on , just what we needed. A decent sandwich and milky coffee , none of this 'hackney vibe' type place. Really enjoyed our family visit here for a spot of lunch. Next time I'll be getting some authentic Italian dishes. Thankyou.
Rating: 5 / 5
I absolutely love this place, we were met by the adorable Italian lady owner, she was very professional and attentive. The place is located on a corner at the west end of the High Street. The place has a very generous menu with lots of choices(vegan, vegetarian, milk intolerant, gluten free). I strongly recommend their baked potatoes!!! There is off street parking areas around the area (pay and display or pay with the RingGo app). Famy friendly and dog friendly. The place is all in one level and step free. Very affordable prices.

Fantastic local family run coffee shop. The staff are brilliantly friendly and attentive. Service and speed was great. I had the beef Ragu with pasta. It was home made and only cost ÂŁ6.50. I'd have happily paid double for the quality of food. The sandwiches and baguettes looked equally as good. Highly recommended. I'll be coming back.

Been here many times over the years. Absolutely love it. Their Christmas decorations are brilliant. They have books for my kids to read. Clean, friendly, lovely. Honest food by honest people. I really enjoy their homemade pasta sauces and Italian antipasto salad Very affordable for a family of four.

We were lucky to be squeezed in on a bank holiday Sunday. The food was wonderful. Iâm not a vegan anymore but have to avoid dairy. This lovely little restaurant caters for everyone. My vegan pizza was heaven. The faux cheese, absolutely amazing đŻ

We were a table 7 and a toddler. We were served promptly by our lovely waiter vlad who was very helpful and a great knowledge on the menu. We had starters and mains and there was empty plates all round. All our food came together. We took puddings home which were also so good. Lovely family restaurant. We will definitely be returning. Well done margaritas what a great team you have đđđ

Very rare to find an Italian style family restaurant outside of Italy. But this is one, and a very good one too. We started with the sharing board and there was plenty , various meats, four very good cheeses, sun dried tomatoes, olives and various pickles. We also shared a seafood pizza. It was beautifully crisp with clams, mussels, prawns and squid on a tomato base, a bit suprised there was cheese too but it worked well. We also had a handmade pasta dish each. Mine was tortoloni with black truffles and burratta, it was wonderful. My husband carried on with a seafood spaghetti dish. It looked and tasted great. By this time we were too full for the very attractive desserts, but we will be back to try them. The place is quite small and booking is essential. But there is a lovely atmosphere and we had a table at the front so we could see the sea . The staff were faultless and worked very hard to ensure everything was perfect. We both loved Margheritas, it is well worth a visit.

My partner and I made a reservation last week, and have to say probably one of the nicest meals weâve had out in a while! Really affordable prices, a great atmosphere and such lovely fresh food. We both had bruschetta and pizza, couldnât fault neither. The skin on fries came lovely and seasoned too⊠the staff couldnât have done enough to accommodate us. No surprise that the place didnât have a single empty table this evening. We will definitely be booking again soon!

Can't rate this restaurant any higher than 5 but the food was fabulous. If you go to Deal, this is a must visit restaurant if you love Italian cuisine. Everything we had was delicious and reasonably priced with wine. Can definitely recommend the spinach and ricotta cannelloni.

Came today first time visitors we were very impressed with farm shop. Had breakfast in the cafe food was excellent hot and delicious cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and professional at doing their job. Will definitely return Dawn Russan
Rating: 4 / 5
Great farmshop with lots of local produce and products on offer. The cafe offered some nice food, although lacked a range of lighter breakfast/lunch options. The portions were very large, which was great. The vegetarian breakfast was superb and the sausage Patty muffin with bacon and egg was delicious. Unfortunately the sauce coating the loaded chips was very sickly and overpowering and one of our meals was bought out 10 minutes later than the rest of our meals. Overall a superb farm shop and a good cafe.

Goose on the Green
27 The Strand, Walmer, Deal CT14 7DX, UK | Cafe P: Not available
Rating: 4.7 (499) Price Level:
This was a smashing, little place to eat. It's only a small place looking out across the green and the water. We were staying a few miles away that didn't serve breakfast, in fact, they weren't offering any food whatsoever. We heard about this place from a local lady about a mile up the road from Goose on the Green. The food was freshly made, good value too. The young girls that were waiting on were very pleasant, and the service was good despite them being rather busy. Parking was easy, it was all along the front right there on the road, so you only had a few steps to walk. If ever we were in this area again, we would definitely go and eat there. Would definitely recommend The Goose on the Green đ

Absolutely outstanding breakfast.. Full English was delicious. My photo shows a modified one as I swapped out the beans and hash browns for extra bacon. Bacon is the best ever. Turns out its sourced locally. Ambience is great. Decor is cosmopolitan. Loos are clean and smartly decorated. WiFi is free and solid fast signal. Letâs not forget the staff who are friendly, efficient and attentive. Parking is available opposite free! Early birds need to be there on opening as places fill swiftly.

Lovely breakfast! Quite expensive but a lovely little place. Well worth a visit. Really friendly staff
Rating: 5 / 5
Excellent Veggie (customisable) breakfast, cooked well and fresh, with generous portions and a nice selection of items. Gluten free and Vegan friendly, kid friendly, pets allowed, inclusive seating- what more can you ask for? Excellent service is part of the Deal (literally!) and the coffee is to die for. Definitely recommend and the best part is that they are one of the few places open early by 8am if youâre doing an early morning walk.

The Dining Club Ltd
69 Middle St, Deal CT14 6HP, UK | Restaurant P: 01304 373569
Rating: 4.7 (68) Price Level:
We live locally and have been quite a few times. Obviously food is the main thing and it's fantastic. Really interesting too. But I think the point to note is it's such a different experience from a standard restaurant. Like having a chef's taster menu, lots of small courses and you choose to go on a night where the menu is up your street. Really though, the fun is having dishes cooked and brought to you that you might not have chosen. It's so interesting trying new combinations . You feel exceptionally well looked after throughout. A bit like going to a really good chef's house for a dinner party I suppose. Very reasonable for what it is and the hard work that's gone in to every menu. Do yourself a favour, get a list of menus, choose a night that suits you, and have a wonderful treat of an evening.

The Dining Club is less a restaurant and more an intimate dining experience. You choose from a carefully curated menu and eat the always delicious food in the nooks and crannies of this Georgian, wonderfully atmospheric building. Every room has a different vibe making it a different experience each time. Scottie and Suzanne really have done something amazing with this space. And they support local businesses too, both with their food sourcing and room hire. I host a monthly meet-up for late-diagnosed adults with ADHD here. And there are pop-up events and workshops throughout the year. Thank you, Suzanne and Scottie, the Dining Club is such an asset to Deal đâ€ïž

I went with a friend to the Grinch Afternoon tea. I've been to several of the afternoon teas.. not reviewed till now. I've made a point of doing it today as it was once again a 'can't stop smiling' experience. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The menu is lovely and so creative. It's the attention to detail that I always love so much. Even down to things like the 'ice' shard and the little tart with the lane grinch logo on. Each afternoon tea is obviously well planned out and any dietary adjustments are made so they still fit the theme. You get so much for your money and I love that you can box up and take home the rest. The drinks are also never ending, very generous and you are never rushed even when you can tell they are getting ready for another sitting. (Happened on another occasion- a friend and I had chatted for so long we were the only ones left. The staff were still really friendly and chatty, answering random questions I had.) There is beautiful decorations everywhere which are hand painted and details galore. A really nice touch was a candy cane on the grinch plate and there is always a puzzle on every table. To the team, keep doing what you're doing, you're bringing a lot of joy, cleshay yes but true, its very much appreciated. To anyone else, pick a theme you like and get booked in.

Been here many times. Great open square that overlooks the sea. It is shared with another pub/restaurant which gives two choices of menu. The kitchen works very hard to get good food out as fast as they can. Today was very busy and they still served us within 40 mins - the staff told me before they took the order, so no dramas! Had a long beer watching the world go by whilst waiting. Also gazed at all the other food choices as each table was served - they all look great. Ours was the standard seaside fare of fish and chips. Fat and juicy fish, triple cooked chunky chips and loads of oetis pois; and the King's Head burger - a great portion fries, good quality bap and very large burger (other half struggled đ€Ł). Good service by the team. We will return.

We discovered this little gem in Deal to celebrate our anniversary. The outside of the pub is beautiful with colourful flowers and itâs really inviting. We were greeted by a lovely young guy who helped us to check in and even offered to take our bags for us as we would be staying in room 7 at the top of the hotel. We had a lovely spacious room with en suite. It has a spectacular view of the pier. Iâve only given it a 4 (please bear in mind we loved our room these are just tips to make the room a 5). One of the lamps in our room wasnât working, which we reported to one of the staff at the bar, but what would be so helpful would be a couple of USB sockets in the room. We forgot our chargers so werenât able to charge our phones (obviously our fault entirely) but maybe something to think about for future guests. The breakfast was lovely, fresh and hot. All of the staff were amazing, itâs been a long time since Iâve been to somewhere where everyone was simply kind, friendly and helpful, they are a credit to you. Thank you for making our stay a really enjoyable one. Weâll definitely be back and weâll definitely recommend you to anyone who asks.

Lovely pub, very busy, good ale. Visited twice, whilst on a break. Major busy as football was being shown. Had an amazing Sunday roast, one of the best I've ever had. Roast beef, as everything else was sold out, but that's to be expected as it was gone five. You can't tip by card as the don't accept tips by card, only cash. Staff were bright, fun and engaging. Charming, unpretentious café/restaurant in centre of Deal. Lovely coffee, spotlessly clean premises and my friend really enjoyed her Torte della Nonna (lattice tart with ricotta cheese and dried fruits) with an extra of tiramisu ice cream. Two tables outside if you can brave the sun!
