Visited here on my way to Walmer Castle after seeing the reviews. Fab food, friendly staff and a much welcomed cup of tea after walking from Deal on a very hot day. Would thoroughly recommend if you are visiting Deal 😊

A warm and friendly welcome on arrival. We sat outside as today was unusually warm for February. We both had omelette, which were excellent followed by cake, which was also great. Recommended.

What an amazing find! The Corner cafe serves the tastiest, most wonderfully cooked breakfast and lunch classics…and they have a cake trolley with beautiful home made cakes (the Bakewell slice is to die for) Easily the best cafe in Deal!

First time there and will definitely be back. Extensive menu all prepared fresh to order, really good food. We had a mixture of hot (omlettes) and cold food (baguettes & salmon avocado toast) which was all delivered to the table together. Some outdoor seating and within walking distance of Walmer Castle. Friendly staff and good value. Also sells small antiques!

Fantastic cafe on all levels! Friendly welcome and service from Charlie and team. Delicious food, we had poached eggs and crumpets. Excellent coffee. Eclectic garden/decor!

Very happy with the service from ordering to delivery and installation of my new washing machine. The guys that carried out the disconnection and installation were polite, professional and despite mine being a tricky fit that took longer they got on with it and left me functioning and clean and tidy.

Great service. Used Mike's a few times now and had to phone today to make sure an order would be dispatched same day before actually placing it as it was near the cut off. Within 10 minutes of ordering and speaking on the phone its been dispatched and already showing on my DPD app!

The team at Mike's electrical were so so helpful. My husband and I are completing a house renovation and really are learning as we go. There was always someone at the end of the phone to talk through any questions we had and Tom put together a very comprehensive quote. Great and friendly place for coffee and a little treat. The macaroons with an almond stuck to the top are delicious. The owners produce your drinks with joy, a smile and expertise and have a knack for remembering one's favourite.

Accidentally came here and asked for an iced coffee. The one they made is the best I’ve ever had. We came back the next day. AMAZING hot chocolate and a gorgeous flat white. Not to mention an excellent biscuit. This place is a must!

Ryan undertook quite an involved electrical upgrade for us as part of our new kitchen and bathroom project and general refurb of our home. All his work was carried out efficiently with the minimum of disruption to us. He was happy to answer questions and explain things. On top of that he was always on time on the days we were expecting him and always cheerful and polite. I would definitely recommend Ryan and would be happy for him to help us with future projects.

He explained what he was doing whilst here in terms that even I understood. We then called him out again for another job, he investigated, found out the fault and rectified it, another job well done. We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Engel’s Paradise in Deal. From the moment we arrived, the hosting was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was simply delicious, all freshly made in-house with incredible flavors. You can tell the care and passion that goes into every dish. As a family with a baby, we were particularly touched by the thoughtfulness in providing a swing for our little one, making it a truly enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the evening felt like a real treat. We can’t recommend Engel’s Paradise enough and look forward to coming back!

I sincerely recommend this Polish restaurant, you can eat delicious, traditional Polish cuisine here. the place itself is very friendly and has a nice, homely atmosphere. The portions are really large and the prices are affordable, you can't leave this restaurant hungry. We will definitely come back here again

I've been here several times now over the last couple of years. Slava and her husband are really lovely. She is more front off house and I guess he cooks, but I think she makes most of the cakes, although I may be wrong. It looks tiny from the outside but has a garden out back. The food is really delicious, and wear a belt that you can unfasten as the portions are generous and the price is very good for what you get. You can tell everything is really fresh, as Slava will tell you how many of each item she has, and I love that. Polish people travel far to go there for traditional dishes so that is always a good sign. If you like alcohol with your meal you can bring your own and pay a cork charge. I would highly recommend and leave you with a couple of photos from my Sunday lunch Tried the all day breakfast today (04/09/24) amazing. Filling and really tasty, I don't know how they can do it for £6.50

We have been here so many times and each time it is a great experience! We always say “It’s the best Polish bistro in town”. The value is amazing, food so good (try the vegetarian pierogi) and Slava and Andrew are great hosts. There’s so many regulars and a really friendly atmosphere.

Had very tasty meal here, food was very good! Did not realise that they had second floor in the restaurant as well! Friendly staff, only downside was that being seated upstairs, all people left early and we were only people left upstairs and seems like staff sort of forgot about us. But overall good experience and tasty food, would like seat next time downstairs. Would go back again.

We came here for a special occasion and were really pleased by the service. There were lovely touches recognising the special occasion when we arrived and this was much appreciated. We have passed by a few times but did not realise it is dog friendly. Glad I stopped by and asked. The starters were roasted goats cheese with beetroot and pes shoots and pulled brisket tacos, we shared and both were very good indeed. Main courses were herb crusted roast cod for me. It was served on new potato mash and was a really nice dish. My husband had the buttermilk chicken and that looked perfect too, he said it was great. No room for dessert, maybe next time. The place is lovely, lots of art everywhere and it is for sale. The staff were lovely, friendly and did a good job of making sure we had a great evening.

My son has just moved to Deal and we went for a morning stroll to this lovely cafe /bakery. Prompt. friendly service and lots to choose from! There are deck chairs to sit in on the beach whilst consuming your food and drink and taking in the stunning sea views. Well worth a visit and quite rightly a very popular place with the locals.

Fantastic little café right on the beach with great coffee, amazing homemade food, and superb atmosphere. You can sit on a deck chair on the beach or now inside in the newly converted indoor seating area. They are now open Thursday to Sunday during the winter as well as full time for the rest of the year. Bike hire available, dog friendly and some of the best cakes and sausage rolls in town....what more could you ask for?
