This place is my dentist. I am satisfied with it here. My dentist is good, he gets to the point and does what he needs to do.. My hygienist is also brilliant and very friendly and seems to do a great job cleaning my teeth. The receptionists are good and there are a few there working, so you don't have to wait. I visited here yesterday and the receptionist who served me was lovely. There are a few car parking spaces, so that's good as well. The waiting area is fine, a bit minimalistic. Dentists are never fun to visit, but this one seems to be as good as it can be

I was terrified of the dentist until I went to Pennypot. Omar and his team have been so amazing over the years that I have been going there and I now have every confidence in him. I cannot thank Omar enough for his genuine care, consideration and advice. After having veneers recently I can now smile with confidence. Thank you Omar, Jan, Alice and dental nurses x

I recently attended my routine yearly checkup at Pennypots and I had a positive experience. I booked my appointment about three weeks ago and was pleased not to have a long wait. On the day, I arrived a few minutes early and was checked in promptly by the receptionist. The waiting room was comfortable, and I only waited 8–10 minutes past my scheduled time, which I found perfectly acceptable. The checkup itself was thorough and efficient, taking about 10–15 minutes. Both the dentist and the nurse were friendly and professional. I was advised to monitor a tooth with a mild gum infection and schedule another checkup in six months, which was helpful advice. Overall, the appointment was quick and hassle-free—I was in and out within 30 minutes. The practice also has a small free car park, and I was able to find a space without any issues. I’m very satisfied with the service and care I received and would recommend this practice to others!

My daughter has just finished her orthodontic journey and both Gareth and Carly have been fantastic, the end result is beautiful and our daughter now has the confidence she deserves. I cannot fault anything about PennyPot. The reception team have always been accommodating and changing an appointment has always been easy. My daughter had had a bad experience at a previous dentist but is now reassured by going to the dentist because they have only ever given her a positive experience. We will continue to use PennyPot. It is a busy thriving practice, with a welcoming and happy environment.

Gareth and Carly did a fantastic job on my daughters teeth, we are so pleased with the results and the service received during her time as their patient. They're both so personable and friendly which always put her at ease and customer service was always excellent they were so accommodating fitting her in if they had cancellations really sped the whole process up . Her teeth were really crooked when we started and as a teen girl she felt insecure of smiling. The results are just amazing she has a beautiful smile and is really happy. Its really restored her confidence. Highly recommend them- thank you so much!

I'm glad the truck stop on the motorway was closed. The Airport cafe is only just over a mile from the roundabout, wide country road, and plenty of parking. Just had a full English, perfectly cooked and a decent mug of tea, in a proper mug not a paper tumbler. The staff are pleasant and professional. I'm now set up for the day and a long journey. Thanks, girls.! I'll be back. Sorry, no picture, I ate it all,! 28/2/22 Another most enjoyable breakfast. I'm just off the Eurotunnel, and this gives me time to contemplate driving on the other side of the road. 5/9/22 I remembered to take a photograph this time before demolishing the fare. Ok there is a couple of mouthfuls missing. Thanks girls. 1/3/23 Most excellent start to the day, and a warm welcome back into the uk. Keep up the good work. 7/9/23 Another delicious breakfast, and equally important a hot mug of tea. 5/9/24 Another successful visit. "Express breakfast" today, the bubble and squeak was a delicious addition, it comes recommended. Thanks girls, you've brightened my day.

What an amazing dental practice. Always professional with a very friendly atmosphere. Recently I have been seeing Dr Wally who I cannot speak highly enough about. A top professional and an absolute gentleman who immediately puts you at ease and explains everything in plain English. In my 63 years I have never met a dentist who is willing to go so far out of his way to ensure you get the treatment that's right for you. Fantastic service Thank you 👍

This is such a fantastic dental surgery. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and extremely patient and caring to those who are perhaps a little nervous. They were absolutely brilliant with my 3 young children who were all very apprehensive about their appointment. They're all looking forward to their next visit. I cannot rate this surgery enough. I'm a complete whimp when it comes to the dentist and dread any appointment for weeks before I'm due to be seen but, Chopra and Associates really do have an amazing team that obviously care about their patients and take the time to help you feel at ease. Thank you for a very positive experience!

Cafe Express

29 High St, Ashford TN24 8TF, UK | Cafe
P: 01233 625534

Rating: 4.5 (279) Price Level:

One of my favourite places to eat in Ashford. Don’t be fooled by initial appearances. The decor isn’t fancy or over the top, but the place is clean and tidy. Rather than fancy mirrors, fake palm trees and steam punk lamps this place delivers great food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. It reminds me of the honest decent “greasy spoon” cafes of the 1980s - but the food here certainly isn’t greasy! Much prefer places like this where the money is invested in the service and food rather than somewhere else that charges £9.99 for a poached egg on sourdough toast for the privilege of sitting on a futon and eating it off a plank of varnished wood. I never leave here hungry. Can’t fault the food and the prices are competitive and value for the food you get. Everything is hot and cooked fresh. When it’s quiet I’ve had my meal served in well under ten minutes. The first time I didn’t believe it could be cooked fresh - but it was; every mouthful was tasty and hot, even half way through I was still burning my tongue! The staff here are all friendly and helpful. I’ve seen cafes with more staff than this run less efficiently, but here even when busy just one or two lovely ladies are rushing around delivering and taking orders so fast they just don’t seem to stop. And despite this I’ve never had a wrong order or been forgotten. The only downside is I don’t live close enough to visit daily. But then if I did I’d probably be 5 stone heavier by now!

What a delightful gem in the heart of town! My partner and I stopped by on a whim today and were pleasantly surprised. The service was attentive, quick, and delivered with a smile. It was heartwarming to see the café acting as a welcoming hub for the older generation, with staff so familiar with their regulars that they knew their orders before they even sat down. This is exactly what a cafe should be! The portions were generous, and the value for money was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!

Down 2 Earth Electrical

Wagtail Walk, Ashford TN25 7GE, UK | Electrician
P: Not available

Rating: 4.7 (12) Price Level:

I am very pleased with the installation of power to my garden building which was carried out in a very competent and professional manner by Dave from D2E Electrical. From my initial contact, he was punctual and I was impressed with the quality of communication. Any queries were answered quickly and he always arrived when he said he would. The work was carried out to a very high standard and was completed in a highly acceptable timeframe. I can happily recommend D2E Electrical.

I was exceptionally pleased with the work provided. After initial work I was pleased to employ Dave again and I will do so again when the need arises. What most impressed me was his attention to detail. My house was built with, what turned out to be, a bizarre wiring arrangement linking the downstairs and upstairs circuits. The system defied all logic but Dave would not be defeated. He spent several hours trying to identify the logic and consulted with other experts. Many would have given up but Dave persisted and eventually the problem was solved. At my request, he also came up with a number of creative solutions for lighting which is very sympathetic with the rest of my house design. I would strongly recommend Dave. Apart from his technical skills, he is very personable, trustworthy and reliable. He is also an excellent communicator.

I asked Dave to install spotlights and an extractor fan in my bathroom. Dave came round and provided a free quote for works and even advised me to install fewer spotlights that I thought I’d need and saved me money. Dave was knowledgeable in relation to the different types of extractor fans on the market. I’d definitely use his services and would recommend for sure.

Dave/Down 2 Earth electrical was absolutely brilliant! I honestly could not recommend him enough for any electrical work you need doing in your home. I had some outside lighting installed that has completely transformed my home. All my friends I’ve shown can’t believe the difference it has made. He initially came round and gave a really helpful consultation where I explained what I wanted, he gave lots of really useful advice on the kind of lighting I needed to achieve what I wanted and then on the day the work was done he completed the job to a high standard. The result is just perfect. Could not be happier, 100000/10.

Dave and his team worked like troopers from the minute they arrived to leaving, often only stopping to drink a brew thrust upon them. They're attention to detail was outstanding making every effort and more to please us as customers. We were informed at all stages as to how the work was progressing and any issues arising. Dave was excellent with communication via email and calls, he provided clear and detailed information as to quotes and costings. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team. They will be my first and only call for any future works. Thank you Dave for an excellent job.

I’m so glad my office moved to Ashford and this is now my fave place for lunch. The food is well prepared and tasty - some of the portions are huge. Visited the cafe today for some lunch with my family. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the lovely girls behind the counter. The cafe was extremely busy and we were made aware there may be a wait for the food, which we were fine about. I feel this is a very well run establishment and well done to to the girls in there for managing the cafe, whilst being so busy - all with smiles on their faces. Food was amazing and fair priced with huge portions! Had my little girl with us and the waitress was very attentive! Will definitely recommend to my friends and family and will most definitely be returning when next in Ashford!

#No61 Cafe

Units 3-4, Cedar Parade, Repton Ave, Ashford TN23 3TE, UK | Coffee Shop
P: 01233 368261

Rating: 4.7 (346) Price Level:

The food and coffee here are both excellent, though it is a bit on the expensive side. The place itself is really nice and well-presented, which adds to the experience. However, there was one issue that stood out to me. During a breakfast visit, someone brought their dog into the cafe. At first, the dog was sitting under the table, but then it started barking and growling at a child on the next table. After a few minutes, the dog jumped up and was sitting on the velvet seating next to the owner, and it stayed there. We were seated on the opposite side of the cafe, so it didn't affect us directly. But honestly, if they had been seated anywhere near us, we would have walked straight out the door, I don’t feel comfortable eating near animals in a restaurant or cafe—especially when they're sitting at the tables. We generally prefer to dine in places without animals around, so I hope this was just a one-time thing, It would be nice to keep coming back without worrying about unexpected dog encounters.

Really lovely cafe. I went for brunch with a friend and my daughter and we definitely wasn't disappointed! The pancakes were my favorite,so light and fluffy! I definitely recommend them ,but generally everything was delicious! I can't complain about a thing. It was a lot bigger inside then I thought, the seating was comfortable and lovely and it wasn't noisy like some cafes can be. The best part is it's in walking distance from my house so I will definitely be going back again. Thank you No61 cafe

I don’t often write reviews as I’m usually too lazy however after visiting here I felt it was necessary I do one. For starters, when you walk in the place itself it is beautiful. Flowers everywhere and great photo op decor. They’ve hit the nail on the head with the decor and is super eye catching. Secondly, they greet you upon entrance and sit you down at a table which really uplifts the experience from a regular cafe to a proper restaurant. Server (owner) came over and asked if we’re ready and was lovely when we needed more time. When the drinks arrived I was gobsmacked. The caramel macchiato was SO GOOD and looked so freaking cool. The attention to detail was impeccable and it was just another regular cold drink served in a regular old glass. The drink itself was super sweet at first but it was a good burst to my senses but after a few sips was a more tame flavour. My boyfriend ordered a smoothie, it looked awesome as now expected and it also was so good. Wasn’t too sweet but wasn’t bland either. Food came and it was so yummy!!!! Presentation was really good also and fruit came on the side of my full breakfast which was a sweet surprise. Overall this place is a great place but also it is well thought out and an awesome twist on an English cafe and Turkish breakfasts.

If I could give this 6 Stars I would. First time here. Lady who served me was full of life and chatted and joked with everyone. Proper sized mugs of tea and coffee. I had a bacon baguette and they used Tiger bread which made it even more delicious. Others were having the full English and they also looked very good. Toilet and facilities were in immaculate condition. Slight downside was they only took cash. However, if ever I'm in the area again, it would be my first choice.

I love the food here , a good proper breakfast!! A good selection of food to choose from and the bread And butter is proper bread and butter ! I'm talking fresh bread 🍞 My only dislike is the noise levels ,not their fault at all. But when there's a lot of people in the cafe it's extremely loud, but you can eat outside if it's a nice day. The prices are reasonable but it's cash only. Parking is limited but you can park along the road and walk up. Wheelchair and pushchair accessible.

Best fry up in Kent! We only ever come here for breakfast, so we haven't tried their lunch items. However, their breakfast is incredible. They have a few different fry up options for you to choose from, I always get a set 1, and I change the option for chips or bubble to hash browns. The set 1 and other options comes with crusty bread or toast and a tea, coffee or cold drink. It is cash only, but there is a BP around the corner with a cash point. However it does have a £2.50 charge.
