We treated ourselves to afternoon tea at home from Mabel's for my son's 21st birthday family get-together.Mandy sorted out the order in advance,clear pricing,menu and requirements,then turned up on the day with the food and set up the cake stands for our meal.The food was excellent (and plenty of it!) and everyone enjoyed being treated.Would certainly recommend and am looking forward to popping into the cafe itself at some point

What a little gem this vintage tea room is! Took my sister for lunch. I definitely recommend the homemade apple pie with custard 😋 Staff are lovely and attentive. Spoke to the owner who was delightful. Can't recommend highly enough. Skip the chains and support a local small business. You won't be disappointed. I will definitely be back.

Having not lived in Altrincham for 20 years, I didn’t really know where to start with arranging a baby shower for my childhood best friend, but from the moment I spoke to Leeanne I knew it was going to be perfect. She went out of her way to help me organise the perfect afternoon tea from 100 miles away, responding to messages at all hours, taking in deliveries of decorations & games & catering for all our individual dietary requirements & preferences. All the food was delicious & the attention to detail was amazing, including the beautiful favours made by Leeanne’s mum. We all thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Thank you!! Anyone looking for a venue for a babyshower, hen do or special birthday party will not find a better place or host I guarantee.

A wonderful place to gather with friends. The cocktails are all so good and surprisingly delightful. The fried chicken and food are also very delicious. The owner and the staffs of Memories Cafe's Bar were so nice and polite too. He also gave us some advice on choosing our favorite drinks. We will definitely come back again.

This place has a great atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The food is beautifully crafted, with every dish showing the chef’s care and creativity. I love letting the bartender pick a cocktail for me—it’s always a delightful surprise. Highly recommend!

The Crispy Korean chicken is my favourite dish here, sandwich and Bubble tea are also lovely, you should try them if you come to here. Service is great and the boss is very friendly, will come again.

Josh did a great job to a very high standard and worked around various complexities. He installed two new ceiling lights and wired and installed an outside light. There were issues with the wiring and the fittings previously done however he was able to rewire and refit the fittings so the electrics are now safer.

Josh is a competent and skilled electrician who is also a great general handyman and has done lots of work for me, including moving lighting, removing old sockets and building furniture. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend Josh. Mine was a small job for an electrician (but not one I wanted to attempt myself) and Josh kindly fit it in at the end of his day which was much appreciated. He was quick to respond and kept me updated with his arrival time. Very pleasant and friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to book him again in future. Thanks Josh!

Josh is an excellent electrician. I cannot praise him enough. A hard worker, talks to you everything step by step and extremely personable and polite too. He has previously added new plug sockets, plastered up too to fill in part of the channel he created, not many electricians would do this. He closed up some cabling and again plastered up the small remaining hole. He also removed old light fittings and replaced with new. I cannot recommend Josh highly enough. One of the best days when a friend Paul recommended him.

Such a unique café, we're very lucky to have this place in Altrincham. The warm, cosy and welcoming interior makes you feel like you're in your own little world and there's a great menu on offer, the stroopwafle is a particular favourite of mine. Had a lovely time here today, the staff were very pleasant and handled being extremely busy after opening well. Keeping myself and other customers updated on when their beautiful pancakes were to be served. I had them with Strawberries, banana & Kinder Bueno… very tasty. Anyone passing through Altrincham/Goose Green with a sweet tooth would be well advised to pay a visit.

Went here with my mrs for breakfast on her birthday and it was amazing! Pancakes had a really nice cinnamon hint to them and the stroopwaffels🤤 wish I lived closer I’d have it every morning.

This company has done electrical work at my cottage several times. They have provided inspections and followed up with outstanding work. Their scope of work has been from minor issues to larger ones that required quite a bit of expertise. The owner of the company is a lovely knowledgeable gentleman who cleans up after himself which is a plus! Lastly, always on time and reachable which I like especially when you’re working.

Outstanding service from BEC Electrical Services, Steve and Lee were punctual, informative and extremely professional. Steve's quote was detailed and very reasonable in comparison with other quotes i had received. From the minute they arrived to the time they left, they were friendly, knowledgeable and tidied up as they went along as they did several jobs on the day. I would highly recommend them, and will be using again, and have also suggested to family and friends to use them.

We contacted Steve after moving into a new home and finding out the wiring wasn't up to scratch. Unlike most electricians we've used in the past, he was super responsive, provided a straightforward quote, arrived on time, and went above and beyond to make sure the work was done to a high standard. His team were really polite and friendly, and cleaned up after themsleves too. Really couldn't ask for more!

Highly recommend these guys it has been a pleasure having them work in the house always clean and tidy. Both Lee and Steve have gone above and beyond to deliver a fantastic end product. We had a double storey extension and they have made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. They’ve both worked long hours to deliver the final product on time and been great at working well to fit in around the builders with first fix and second fix. They offered competitive prices and we have been really pleased we chose them. Thanks for all your help!

Steve was a pleasure to have working for us, he has been friendly, professional and tidy from start to finish. He fitted a new fuse box and extra sockets for us, even though it was a difficult job due to the design of the house and being nicely decorated nothing was a problem and got the job finished without causing damage. When I moved into my new house, it quickly became clear that some of the electrics needed looking at. Altrincham Electrical Services attended quickly and explained the problem and fixed it that day. I have since used them to install new lights. I had rain leaking through a light fitting, and they came out that evening to ensure it was safe. Thank you.

What a lovely local gem of a place this is. We were hosted by the charming Simon. I had the Eggs Florentine. Just gorgeous pillows with bright orange melting yolks on fluffy muffins. To top it off lush hollandaise and plenty of it.

Great quality food for a more upscale version of a British lunch. The scallops were outstanding so was the T bone steak in particular as cooked to perfection, but was all great. Lovely restaurant in Hale village and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

I'm so glad I booked this place for me and my partner. We'll definitely be going again. We went on Saturday at 6pm and booked a dog-friendly table at the front. The decor is lovely, the place is clean and inviting and perfect temperature. I had the beef wellington and my partner had a special of ribeye and eggs with chips. The meat inside the wellington was the most beautiful soft meat I've ever had and my boyfriend said his steak was really nice, it had a smoky flavour. My starter of lamb croquettes was also really nice. Service was wonderful and attentive without being overbearing and everything came out at perfect times. I'd give it 100/10 if I could.

We had a Wonderful experience at Riva last Friday night. We enjoyed some Beautiful Wines & a fab dinner and the Team were great. We went for a selection of nibbles for our starters, Halloumi Fries with chilli jam, rustic bread with olive oil & balsamic & olives and hummus and they were all great. I chose the Pan Roast French Trim Chicken with greens, fondant potato & red wine jus. The Chicken was beautiful and moist, the fondant potato was probably the best I have had, crispy on the outer & fluffy in the middle and I could have drank the red wine jus it was that tasty! Mrs K had Roasted squash & wild mushroom strudle & thoroughly enjoyed it. Our friends had the 8oz Riva Burger and loved it although it is quite a size and the Hake which was on the specials board and again beautifully cooked by the Head Chef Daniel. The wine list is extensive but after chatting with Simon we ordered Baron de Baussac Viognier and Languedoc-Roussilon and they were divine. I know when you go to a Restaurant you expect great food which we certainly received but I have to say that the service and whole experience was fantastic. The Team were very attentive but also warm and friendly and their care factor was exemplary. It's great to support a local Business but it is made an awful lot easier when you have such an amazing experience. We will certainly be back!

The best roast dinner ever. Angela and Oliver were welcoming and attentive. The manager is so welcoming, snd she has such lovely staff. The food was fab. Best in Hale and we've been to all of the others. A hidden gem. If you've never been, your missing a treat. Nice things come in small boxes. Superb in every way

Blanco immediately responded to a Checkatrade request where I had asked for an electrician to change a fair few socket panels and to replace three electric radiators in the property. I’ve had unreliable tradesman in the past as it’s a city centre apartment and hard to get contractors out. Within a day of messaging, Blanco came to review the work needed and offered a quote. Two days later and he had done all the work. Not only that, he came on time, was very tidy and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Fantastic service. Abduh was kind, patient and communicative. We knew what we were getting and how much it was going to cost (which was also very reasonable). Blanco Electric fitted us in amongst other jobs and carried out the installation one day after logging the request via Checkatrade. We will certainly contact Blanco Electric for any future work. Blanco did an absolutely fantastic job at my place, I cant recommend him enough. I needed quite a lot of work doing, 4 wall lights replaced a new socket installed on a ply wall and a tv hung- all this was done so professionally. Excellent prices too, I will be using Blanco for all my electrical needs going foward. Thank you for an excellent job :)
