The guy behind the counter on Stockport Rail Station Starbucks had an immaculate manners, a lovely attitude, I have never heard a customer service this good. It was actually a pleasure to be sat there listening to him talking to customers. We need more people like that 🤩

Came in after around 3pm and was very pleased with the impeccable service! Faz especially was lovely and made me a really nice hot chocolate, she was very attentive to my needs and made sure it wasn’t too warm, thanks so much!

We were served by the lovely dawn, who took our order and recommended how to have our steak cooked. She was super friendly and checked up to make sure everything was ok! The food was perfect as always, Dawn made our experience very positive and makes us want to come back!

I booked a night at the hotel and the rooms are excellent. Check in was simple and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room decor is high end and it has all the extras you’d need, free Wi-Fi, parking, ironing board etc. The rooms are only accessible by stairs, I didn’t see a lift, so that could limit visitors with mobility issues. The bed was incredibly comfortable and a firm, great quality mattress, which was well received. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, so was unable to rate the food.

Such a stunning restaurant, warm and inviting. We had the Sunday Sharing Platter which was huge and had everything we wanted. Denise, our server was lovely and friendly and gave us detailed information about what we were ordering. We will definitely be returning as there is plenty more on the menu we want to try.

The steak is excellent. I had the 30-day 9oz rump (so towards the lower end of the price range), cooked rare, and it was fantastic. Together with the beef dripping sauce and seasoned fries, it was a winning combination. So just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune. The service was also excellent - they have obviously tried hard to make it an experience and the interior is warm and spacious. The only gripes were that we were waiting for around 5 minutes at the front desk on arrival - and passed several times without an acknowledgement - which did not get us off to a good start. However, all staff were very polite and professional, and our waiter was particularly attentive and I would go as far as to say an asset to the establishment. The sign outside about dress code, and reiterated when booking online, makes a little bit too much of a point - which inadvertantly sends the wrong message I fear. The ambience and class of the place, and of the food, should be the focus and able to speak for itself no matter what customers choose to wear. A note to the management - if it feels special, customers will of course dress accordingly!

Innocent was a fantastic friendly host who had a lot of passion for the food and customer service. He talked us through each meal and we had a wonderful time. It was our first time trying Sri Lankan food and we look forward to trying their monthly Sunday buffet with family and friends! A great gem along the A6. The adverts on the playlist was a little distracting but otherwise a good atmosphere.

Impromptu Wednesday evening meal out, I booked a couple of hours before and that was no problem (although they said they get very busy especially at weekends). The waiter was really welcoming and didn’t hesitate to explain all the dishes to us and when my husband said he didn’t want anything too spicy they were happy to tone down the spice in the dish he’d chosen. The food was really tasty and fresh, the atmosphere was nice with Sti Lankan (I presume) music playing in the background. If you like lager, give the Sri Lankan lager a try, it was light and refreshing. I would definitely give the restaurant a whirl if you're in the area, you wont be disappointed.

Really enjoyed my meal here, loads of vegan options which is fantastic. Loved that you could have a small portion of the curries too, meaning you can mix and match. Great service, really friendly. Would definitely come back!

It's been quite some time since my wife and I have come across authentic Sri Lankan food, such as Hoppers, Vadai, Wattalapam, etc. My wife's family are Sinhalese and it's really nice to enjoy well cooked food outside of Sri Lanka itself.

My husband took me to this restaurant and I was not keen on Srilanka food little did I know I had this food that was recommended by Innocent he so was knowledgeable of their food it was outstanding. Thank you will be coming back again.

Never used this company before but will definitely use again. Rapid response to emails. Repairs completed within days of enquiry. Luke was very efficient and polite. Reasonably priced quote which was reduced because we provided some equipment. Very impressed!

Highly recommended. They were initially recommended to me by a neighbour who is an estate agent and has used them for years. I've now used them twice, to fault find RCD issues and repairs. Because they're so good, they're very busy, but they flexed things to get to my fault quickly. Very competent, efficient, reliable and reasonably priced. Have all the best diagnostic and testing equipment. I saw that another reviewer found them expensive. Sure, you could probably get Dodgy Dave's mate cheaper, but you don't mess about with electrics. I think their prices are very fair for the service you get.

Absolutely highly recommended!!! Had an issue with our under floor heating and the first electrician we contacted suggested a really expensive solution - Lee was recommended and sorted the issue in about 30 mins, explained the issue in simple terms and the price was really reasonable - definitely would use him again for any electrical issues we have 👍

I couldn’t recommend Vince and his team more, we kept needing more work doing and they were so helpful in accommodating us. Contacted Vinny about carrying out a Electrical Installation condition report, but we needed it doing urgently before new tenant moved into our rental property. Vinny said he would shuffle a few jobs round so he could fit us in. We told him where the Lettings agency was so he could pick the keys up, and true to his word he arrived at the property when he said he would. This was very much appreciated as we get let down so much these days with other tradesmen. Vinny kept in touch during the inspection, letting us know the status. Top marks for Vinny as he deserves. Will always use him for our rental properties as he can be trusted to be reliable, efficient and thorough. His prices seem good also as we don’t feel like we have been ripped off as is sometimes the case for some other services. A great find. Keep up the good work Vinny.

Bacon butty and a brew. The Barm cake was very small with 2 pieces of bacon. It's not very filling for lunch. Asked for bacon well done, and it was, just a shame there wasn't more of it!!

I liked the atmosphere here, and the family-based nature of this business — the veggie breakfast wasn’t bad but I’m sure that I’d enjoy something else more on the menu here. Also there was a bit of a fuss with the card machine not being charged but they let me have a Lucozade on the house for my trouble so… that’s where the four stars came from lol

Fantastic little cafe. We had 3 breakfasts and they were all excellent quality, fresh and great value for money. Service was first class, very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

EDIT* Today I tried the pizza and spicy chicken burger. The pizza is decent. You pretty much know what you’re gonna get when you’re ordering takeout pizza, but it’s deffo on the upper echelon as far as takeout’s go. I really appreciate that you can actually taste the pizza sauce, which most places skimp out on, leading to it drying up when cooking. It’s just a shame that they put the toppings under the cheese instead of on top of it, as I like my pepperoni crispy. The spicy chicken burger is good also.It’s not too spicy but it will probably blow your tits off if you’re not use to spice. It has a good flavour to it as well, instead of that bitter spice that you get from some other places. But yeah, overall, Rounders seems to be shaping up to being one of my new favourite takeaways :) ORIGINAL POST* When I see reviews of chicken places saying “better than KFC”, I usually roll my eyes because it never is.. but, this place is actually as good, if not better than KFC. The chicken is crunchy, properly seasoned and clearly made to order as it was fresh and not dry. Also, the wings taste exactly like KFC’s. You can tell they’ve done some backwards engineering of the Colonel’s “secret recipe chicken” ;) The only problem I had with the food was the hash brown, as some chunks of the potato wasn’t so soft. But other than that, absolute banger of a place. Deffo will be back

First visit today to grab an ice-cream for my son, this was the only thing I ordered. First thing I noticed was how clean the place was! The woman at the till was polite and made a real effort with my little lad. Then she wouldn’t accept any money for the ice-cream! Great service and we’ll be back to try the food for sure :)

Just had the spicy chicken burger meal. Absolutely spot on. Nice size fillet, the chicken was dipped a spicy sauce, absolutely flavoursome and not just spicy for the sake of it. The fries were the skin on type, cooked to perfection. Has to be on the list of all the spicy burger connoisseurs!! Good staff, good service, and might I add, the place is spotless! Definitely will be back!

We ordered from Just Eat so can't comment on the atmosphere. We got a bit of everything, burger were fantastic, very tasty. As we're the chicken strips and wings. We also received two Christmas crackers which was very thoughtful. Will go back again.

Easily the best fried chicken burgers in Stockport, the staff are amazing and make sure you are well looked after especially the owner. Very fairly priced and great portion sizes, you have to get the chilli cheese nuggets. Can’t recommend enough.

Lovely spicy dip chicken burger and tenders! Pretty enjoyable spice level that makes you pant but not run for the hills Lovely staff, very attentive and helped me carry my pram in. Lots of wisteria and slick purple decor. Had it for takeaway also previously and it was good; but it tastes much nicer if you eat in the diner and get the food super fresh

7 of us came for a Bottomless Brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Pre-booking online very easy, and confirmed almost right away. Sat down straight away on arrival. Great food and drinks were enjoyed over 2 hours. No issues from anyone in the group. Would definitely recommend. Brisket Tacos were lovely!

We came here yesterday after doing some shopping in Stockport, we ordered cocktails and some beers, the cocktails were really nice, I ordered another 2! I recommend the Rum punch and the ting wray! 😋 We ordered the lime chicken tacos and the birra brisket tacos and the dirty fries. They were absolutely delicious! Probably the best tacos we've had in a long time. Super flavoursome! We've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back again. Staff were attentive and polite, and the bar was easily accessible from nearby car parks.
