Every visit here is great thanks to the super cool and welcoming team. The food is decently priced and ranges from good to super good, depending on what you order. The seating is limited, but they have made the most of the space! And ample plugs make it a great spot to relax and get some work done. The takeaway window is a standout feature—quick, convenient, and run by staff with the finesse of high-end bartenders. Highly recommended for both dine-in and takeaway experiences!

This place is probably serving the best breakfast in South London. The space is clean, buzzing with energy and good coffee ( I’m Italian, from Naples, and I can recognise a great coffee when I taste or smell one), and serving the nicest breakfast in the most pleasant environment. The service is very good and friendly, they treat everybody as if they are long lost friends waiting to catch up since ages, and the quality of their Eggs Royale ( my favourite breakfast thing to order ) is outstanding. They also serve a very good full English breakfast and some variations they you can build up as you please. The avocado on toast is also really good, the wu as lot of everything they cook is just beyond your average breakfast spot. Special mention also to the sausage rolls, if they are not sold out you must get whatever they have on display they are a cut above any other sausage roll you tasted before. Lastly, even the choice of waters is good with San Pellegrino and Evian, 2 of my all time favourites. During the weekend there is always a queue, so I suggest either to go early or late or to ho midweek when it is still busy but there are no long queues.

Love Hopper! Amazing place with great coffee and tasty brunches as well. Everyone is so friendly there, each time I come to grab a cappuccino it always means a good start of a day. Once I ran there before a flight to have breakfast, and even though the place was full, I was served really quickly. The lady who served the table was very helpful and fast. Hopper makes the area around Clapham North feel nice and cozy, keep it up Hopper team!

This was the first place we ate at in London and it was great! Big selection but a little cafe. I want to come back to keep trying things. I had the full English breakfast and it was plenty to eat. I probably should have gone with the small breakfast. Oh, it’s cash only, but there is an ATM next door.

Held a birthday dinner here with a group of 15 people and it was amazing. Their set menu is divine - the pie and lamb were so delicious - all the food came out perfectly and the waitresses were so attentive and diligent. It was also easy to pay and split the bill which I know can be an issue sometimes. If you’re looking to book a large table - definitely look here. Nadia helped us arrange the night and she was very attentive. Thank you!!

It would be hard to find anything as good as this for a lazy Sunday lunch. Impeccable service from Maddie. Exquisite food from the kitchen. Just a brilliant experience all round. Never had a piece of beef so perfectly rare nor a place of cheese so agreeably matured and of course a great array of drinks. Perfect in every way

Interior was really a nice vibe for dinner. It was super busy so I do recommend booking. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, we had the pork belly and lamb as mains and they were both really good. Amazing portion sizes. They have a great outdoor seating area too. Would go back and recommend.

Excellent food. We went on a Saturday for lunch and the food was super tasty. Had the burger and curry. The burger buns were freshly made, patty really meaty and juicy and sauce just absolutely delicious. Despite the amazing burger, the lemon curd gelato stole the show and should definitely be ordered with every meal. Well balanced between being creamy and tart.

It’s just like being transported to Portugal with its authentic food and ambience. This casual setting restaurant in what’s known as ‘little Portugal’ quarters in south London will take you on Portuguese gastronomical journey of typical food and wine offerings from its various regions. Authentic dishes made well and great wines to suit each taste. Great value true to the origin. Enjoy

Really nice casual Portuguese restaurant. Relaxed and laid back, and very friendly service. Had the gizzard as an appetiser, flavourful but a bit overcooked, so it was on the tougher side. The bacalao with smashed potatoes was nicely done, but most of the potatoes didn't really get much colour. The sardines were nicely grilled. Would recommend it for a relaxed dinner. Avoid the house red though.

On my opinion one of the best portuguese restaurant in London. I live in the area and it’s always nice to have lunch or dinner at this place. The food is good and service too. If the weather is nice the space outside is perfect, you don’t feel like you’re in London here!.last but not least the food portions are excellent 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The portions here were huge. Whilst the food offering is quite standard to what you’d expect from a Portuguese restaurant (tapas, fish, meat) they were all cooked well. This place has a large outside space which is perfect for a nice sunny day.

Probably the best Portuguese restaurant in London. The food was delicious, the portions were extremely generous and the customer service was brilliant. The staff was delicate and polite. I do recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in trying Portuguese food in London. Do not want to influence your choice but the lamb was perfectly cooked.

Carl made our night! What a kind, friendly and a characteristic soul. He was respectful to everyone we saw him interact with. It didn’t look like it was a job for him, it looked like he was genuinely enjoying himself - and that’s what makes a spot a spot. Big ups - will be returning.

One of my favorite spots, especially for brunch, is this place. You absolutely have to try the coffee and cakes—my personal favorite is the red velvet. The spicy chicken sandwich and chicken panini are also delightful; I'm sure you'll love them!

I just had some drinks at San Marino and couldn’t be happier with my experience there! Chris who was our host for the evening made myself and my friend the most delicious cocktails- the nicest cocktails I’ve had in a long time! And upon sharing that it was my birthday, himself and his colleagues surprised me with a slice of cake with a candle and sang happy birthday to me! This was so touching and kind! Thank you so much Chris and the team at San Marino for making my birthday extra special!

Last time I went was in August 2023 with another friend! I was missing some Eggs Cumberland 🥰 Me and my friend went for some brunch today. It was a bit full but we managed to get a seat as they have quite a bit of space! It was also nice and warm inside. They do have outside seating which is great for the summer but maybe not as advisable in the current cold winter 😂 The food was good as per and the ambience is always great :)

San Marino is a charming café and bar, offering cooked breakfasts and sandwiches, though the menu selection is somewhat limited. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been here several times, and one thing I love about this restaurant is the generous portions and delicious food 🍽️. However, I’m giving one less star for service. When you're in a larger group, the waiters often seem to "forget" to bring the salad that’s supposed to come with the main dish 🥗. It almost feels like they're hoping customers won’t notice, maybe to save a bit on cost. That said, the overall experience is always good, and we leave feeling satisfied and full 😋. We’re likely to return soon for some great local Portuguese cuisine!

This place is just exceptional ! The service, the food, the ambiance ,the value all excellent. We visited the place on a Monday evening, very neatly decorated throughout with comfy seating and dining tables. The staff are lovely, welcoming, and so friendly. They are happy to help and recommend what to choose, they are knowledgeable of the menu and give suggestions to alternatives of some dishes to personalise it to your taste. The food tasted fresh, nicely cooked and flavored it was just mouthwatering! Loved the fried calamari as a starter and mixed fried fish main but everything in general was so good. Portion and quality compared to price is very reasonable and I think its worth it. They also have a very tasty stout beer And also I love the water glasses they are just so classic. Finally, they were so kind to surprise us with a cake for my friend's birthday on the house. super cute ! Definitely recommend !

Probably the best francesinha in London! If you’ve ever been to Porto, you’ve probably heard about francesinha. I fell in love with it when I visited for the first time, so I sometimes look for Portuguese restaurants in London that could help me to “matar a saudade” (hard to translate, but I think you know what I mean). I found this one while browsing Google Maps and decided to give it a go. I booked a table because our time was short, but I believe you can still go without needing to book one. The restaurant had plenty of available tables on that Saturday lunch. Although everything on the menu sounded amazing, I was craving a francesinha. It was delicious and juicy. It was the best I’ve had in London. We also got cod balls (bolinhos de bacalhau) as a starter, it was fresh and crunchy. I want to go back to this restaurant just to try the rest of the menu. Everything looked amazing. We wanted to get desserts, but we couldn’t barely walk after that delicious francesinha.
