Having been recommended Dorset Dental by my son I can honestly say that it's the first time in my life that I don't mind going to the dentist. Fabulous treatment from Szusanna and have also just been fitted for an anti snore mouth piece which I will be testing tonight! Great service and team.

I have recently been treated at Dorset Dental Practice for specialised treatment. All the staff were friendly, reassuring and professional and made me feel at ease completely with the treatment I required. Sam came to our rescue earlier this week when we discovered a leak from our bathroom was staining our kitchen ceiling. His prompt and efficient work ensured the leak was banished, hopefully for good! I was really impressed by his workmanship and how clean and tidy he left the room. He is someone I will highly recommend 👌

Sam replaced my old and dated shower enclosure which required stripping back to the wall timber, dry lining and tiling along with the fitting of shower tray and doors. Along the way Sam identified two small leaks and a problem with the waste which he also resolved as part of the job. Price charged was as quoted. All rubbish cleared was by Sam, and there was a lot ! So pleased with the finished job. Thanks again Sam.

SJC plumbing, Sam was very polite from the word go. He knows his stuff. Definitely happy with the work that we’ve had done! For anyone considering dental Implants I cannot recommend highly enough. Henne and Vicky are so relaxed and competent and explain procedures the whole way along . Pricing is transparent too . The after care and hygiene practices are also outstanding . To have this procedure done locally cannot be under rated . I had far higher quotes abroad and add to that the cost of travel and the time needed there before you could fly . This was my best choice ever !

I came here sent by an NHS emergency with an infection in one of my back teeth I was in agony and very swollen. I saw Ella and Tia, They first sent me away with antibiotics and to come back to have the tooth removed. When I came back Ella said the tooth could be saved and asked if I would prefer to have a root canal. After the first procedure I was so shocked how much better my face felt and realised I’d been in pain for a long time. I went back for the second procedure today and again very happy with the result. I thought Ella and Tia went above and beyond considering it’s not even my official dentist. They could have easily removed the teeth for a fraction of the time but instead fixed my tooth and I am so happy they did. I’ve been looking for a dentist for a while and will definitely be joining! Thank you both

Highly rate this practice! I had a one off appointment to fix a broken tooth. I was fitted in the next day! I saw Dr Edwardo whom was very friendly and informative. I hate dentists generally but was made to feel at ease. My front tooth was repaired by hand with composite filling. The result was astonishing! Can't even tell it was broken. Amazing skills! Thank you so much. I would most def go back.

The coffee and the cake from this little truck were both utterly delicious, beautifully made with real care and run by a lovely young family. Well worth seeking out - we found them at the Swanage Friday market today and it was a fabulous way to finish our last walk into Swanage before the drive home.

Far be it that I'm easily pleased, but this place just struck my chords. A quaint little campsite cookery, offering Pizza evening food and morning fry up classics. The service was great. A comfortable atmosphere with music softly playing, plenty of comfortable seating, a small library to ponder over, and some old antiquated analogue TV/stereo to fiddle with while we waited. The guy baking, (Connor) was polite and chatty and served up our pizza in good time and with a true smile on his face. Absolutely fabulous. The food itself smelt so appealing, and looked scrumptious. Happy to say that the taste didn't disappoint. Quality food

We had a very good service from Gasways Heating. Very trustworthy as we had to leave a key as away from the property when the repair/service needed to take place. Communication via texting very informative about the problems discovered with the boiler and heating system. Happy for us to delay payment till we met 1 week later. Definitely will use again and will recommend.

Friendly pub. Busy with locals and visitors. A warren of little rooms so you can find a space to sit. They have sky sports in one room for those that want it and plenty of alternatives for those that don’t. Games and puzzles to occupy you. Menu looks good. We had the Sunday roast which was unbeatable value and really tasty. Nice selection of beers on tap. Highly recommended

Wow, what a brilliant pub. Not only is there great food and ale for visitors, but a great village centre too. Brilliant use of space and really nice staff. Food- good menu, good flavours Atmosphere - proper old pub, but also clean, homely, comfortable. Usually drive by this pub but decided to pop in this time, not disappointed, excellent service from barman accompanied by the locals who were very welcoming and entertaining. Went through to the garden area (very dog friendly) with the seating and ordered a snack to go with our drinks. It was outstanding in both taste and value, so many thanks for that, would thoroughly recommend this pub and will definitely be back for further ventures into the menu, many thanks.

Unfortunately food was not available when we visited but at the time we were only looking for a snack. What a pub, not necessarily to everyone's taste but the atmosphere and the socialside with the barman/landlord (?) and locals was really welcoming. The Ale was awesome, my first pint tasted so good it disappeared so quick I had to buy another. Even better it was in a dimple glass with a handle. Best PUB I have been in for ages.

This is the most awesome cliff-side cafe around, well, it's the only one I know of so... a well deserved title! Opens at 9am, perfect to grab a delicious fried breakfast at the start of the day before enjoying the surrounding scenery / beaches. Get there early and you can sit half way up the cliff (on top of the café roof to be precise - the cliff isn't very high!) and take in the lovely view of Swanage bay at the same time. Quick, friendly service, not too expensive, they also take card/phone payment... what's not to love?
