My son absolutely loved his lessons with David. He always looked forward to each lesson which David always ensured was fun and engaging whilst maintaining a calm and relaxing working environment to allow my son to achieve. David has a unique learning style which he constantly adapted to encourage my son to challenge himself and make fantastic progress in maths and English. I would highly recommend David for his tutoring skills, he really does bring out the best in your child!

My daughter's enjoyed David's unique teaching. Each lesson was tailored for their individual needs and learning methods. My daughter's always felt comfortable in David's lessons and was able to ask David any questions if the work wasn't understood. He was also engaging with myself as a parent and kept me up to date with their progress. A very encouraging fun teacher!

After COVID, I decided that my son needed a little more support with his learning, I felt school wasn't helping him to reach his true potential. David has been amazing, he teaches in a fun way which is simple for my son to understand he enjoys going. I have seen my son's confidence in learning grow. Our son with sen has been attending 1:1 lessons at Halliwell Tuition for nearly a year. His wonderful teacher has been the perfect match, she breaks the work down in to a way that that is understandable for him, so that he is able to complete (and enjoy!) the work. The learning space is a calm and friendly environment which was just what he needed. The tutors get to know your family which is lovely. We look forward to our youngest child starting lessons when he reaches school age.

Can’t recommend Halliwell Tuition enough!! My daughter who’s in year 4 has never really enjoyed maths and after the lockdowns due to covid she was lacking so much self confidence and crying when it came to doing her maths homework, after being recommended to David from another school mom we looked into 1-1 tuition for her and it’s been the best thing we have done! She’s a different child her overall confidence is amazing she believes in herself and as soon as she comes out of school she can’t wait to see David and tell him how she’s used methods he’s shown her in school! So not only is she now doing extremely well in maths at school she’s enjoying maths and is more confident to ask questions! His warm family ethic and confidence boosting techniques are truly inspiring.
