Explore Learning at Shirley has been really helpful in preparing my son for his year 6 SATs. All the teachers are lovely and helpful. They have listened to our requirements and tailor-made his lessons to focus on the areas where he needed most practice. In addition, my son loves the sessions and goes at the centre willingly. I am planning to continue these sessions throughout his secondary schooling, as I can see they are really beneficial to him. Very highly recommended!

Our Daughter was struggling with Maths, and so we decided to try Explore learning. Not only have her grades improved, but more importantly, so has her confidence. The Staff at the Shirley branch were friendly and supportive, and really made our Daughter feel comfortable and able to ask for help, should she need it. We can’t recommend them highly enough, and thank them for all their support.

We have been part of Shirley centre for last 5 years. We are so happy with the support our son receives, he thoroughly enjoys going to his sessions. The review meetings are very helpful as it is broken down clearly what my child needs to work and what he can do. Throughout the years we have given the centre feedback from his school report and then they have set up his program based on areas of improvement. Aysha has been a fantastic support, she is great at motivating the students and takes care to know them. Thank you to all the staff!

We found the Shirley centre was a tremendous help in enabling our son to pass his 11 plus. All the tutors and staff were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in guiding us through a fairly stressful time. The systems in place and resources made available to us were key to our son’s success. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of putting their child in for the 11 plus exam.

My children have all had tutoring at the Shirley Centre over the past 10 years. I have been very impressed with the standard and approach of tutoring. The length of time I have been with the centre is a testament to making a real difference to my children's education and attainment in school and they are all now excelling in secondary school and college. They were just that bit ahead of the class in what they were learning at school and the tutoring sessions consolidated the learning done in school. My youngest son also took the 11 plus tutoring course which was absolutely on the mark and my son passed the 11 plus exam with flying colours and will be attending Camp Hill Boys school this year. I can't thank the managers and tutors enough for their dedication in making sure that the children get that head start in their education through the tutoring sessions. A special thanks to Aysha who was great through out the 11 plus course answering all my queries as a parent and going above and beyond in providing extra study materials helping my son pass the 11 plus exam.
