Called here for lunch last Friday,didn't book but there was room for us two,we chose Scampi,Chips and Peas,we didn't have to wait long for our meal and we both enjoyed it,will use again when visiting Bourne.

This place is popular. Most of the tables were reserved, and they were turning people away who didn't have reservations. While the cake was quite good it was nothing exceptional and the coffee was average. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient.

We ordered a takeaway for 10 people via email as we were entertaining guests including vegetarians and food allergies. We were amazed at how many different dishes were available to fit our various requirements. The food was hot and ready to collect on time. We were so impressed with the quality of each and every dish, so far to say everyone said “one of the best Chinese meals they have ever had”. The standard and quality of service at The China Hand is superb. We love this place, just wish it was closer!

I went with my family for Christmas lunch. One of the best chinese meal I've ever had. All the staff are kind and professional. The service excellent, the taste of the food is superlative, too good. I left the restaurant wondering who the chef is? how can the chef cook like that?! even the french fries were special. The crispy chilly beef so crunchy and tasty, I tasted all the dishes and there wasn't anything I didn't like, even the tofu was good and I usually don't like it very much.

I've tried them all and Jade Garden is the best Chinese in Bourne. Tonight we had a range of dishes and it was probably one of the best takeaways I've ever had. The beef spring onion and ginger and king prawn sezchuan in particular was banging. Highly recommend. Plus the staff are super friendly. The photo doesn't do it justice!

First experience of Jade Garden tonight, having recently moved to Bourne. We were so impressed. The food was very fresh, very hot and very tasty and portions generous. Excellent salt and pepper chips too. The staff are happy and friendly. Will definitely be back. Great little find.

What a lovely restaurant! We celebrated the end of the football season with my son and enjoyed the lovely food and amazing atmosphere there. Service was fantastic, food delicious 🤤 Highly recommend this place for everyone!

Celebrating my sister’s birthday with a few family members (27/03/24). The food was amazing and very tasty! The service was excellent and friendly. Our food and drinks arrived promptly. Couldn’t find fault with our evening. Will definitely return in the near future. Genny.

I had toothache for several days but when I contacted Bourne Dental Practice they were able to see me the same day and discovered that I needed a tooth extraction which was done the next day (yesterday). Nicholas Maxey had a tough job to remove the tooth but he did a great job and my toothache is no more. Brilliant! Many thanks.

Had a tooth extraction today with Elaine and Sam her dental nurse. I have a fear of dental procedures going back to horrendous experiences as a child . Adding to this I have developed a fairly recent fear of choking so I absolutely hate having anything in my mouth that shouldn’t be ! Elaine and Sam were brilliant , calm ,reassuring and so good at their jobs . I went in there feeling a nervous wreck and close to tears and also very apologetic for getting in this state! They were both completely understanding , gentle and kind ,I even came out feeling proud of myself for coping ! I would never have managed to sit in that chair had it not been for how they made me feel . I can’t thank them enough and only hope Sam’s hand recovers from me cutting off the blood supply !

I had an emergency visit to see Prya at Bourne Dental Practice. Though she couldn’t fit me in immediately to complete the work, Prya assured me she'd call as soon as they had a cancellation. True to her word, two days later I got the call and was in for my filling the very next day. Not only did she keep me at ease all the way through, I never felt any discomfort and the filling matched the colour of my front teeth perfectly. I fully recommend Bourne Dental Practice.

My wife and I had recently joined Bourne Dental Practice and this was our first visit. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel very welcome and the front of house staff were extremely engaging. Dr Gulzar and Nurse Megan were polite, professional and had a great sense of humour thereby making the whole experience a very pleasant one.

100%recommend from start to finish we have found this practice exceptional delivering first class patient care at every part of our dental journey. We transferred from another practice as denplan patients. Nothing was too much trouble with an outstanding reception team. Jo was a pleasure to deal with, at each point we made contact. Mr Maxey was above excellent and cemented our reason for joining the practice, due to his professionalism , care and kindness. A truly remarkable dentist who displays a passion for his work. Faultless from cleanliness to efficiency. We are blessed to have been able to become patients at Bourne Dental Practice.

We love full of beans. Our 2 year old loves it. It's created for 1-4year old roughly and never over crowded which is great to help our daughter grown confidence. Coffee is good. Food is very good. Free WiFi. Also good facilities for toilets and potty training. We love it.

Okay, so.. we visited the first weekend it opened, the owner was present when we visited and she was open to any suggestions of improvement, I didn't have any at that time (nor do I now) she mentioned a few things herself that were in the pipeline and after a visit this weekend I can see she implemented the ideas. We had an all day breakfast, a kinder waffle, coffees and the kids had the brownies (choice of flavours available! The all day breakfast doesn't use pork products but DO NOT be put off at the idea of a vegan sausage, honestly the best sausage I've ever tried in my life, I'm converted! I can't fault the service or the food, everything was hot, even the waffle which was topped with ice cream and cream🤯 Despite its size, it offers a great soft play, I can watch the children the entire time while relaxing and enjoying food and beverages! Well done on all your success and it's amazing to see a local business giving to charity and always doing their part for the community. ⭐️ -a very happy, and satisfied customer, whose picky husband was very impressed with your coffee!!!🖤

We had a party here for our one year old twins and it was absolutely perfect!!! We couldn’t have wanted for more! It was the perfect size for them and a few of their friends! We were able to let the kids roam freely while we could still enjoy a cuppa and see everything! We had 10 children with an age range of 8 months old to 5 and they all had a fabulous time!! We had a number 1, balloon arch and the food was perfect, nice and easy, choose for yourself. The staff catered to our every need. Couldn’t recommend it more, thank you so much for making such a special day absolutely perfect 🤩

Awsome staff! They are so friendly and helpful. My kids love the play area and the kid's lunch option where they can choose their own 3 snacks and pour their own squash. Lovely place!!! Photos taken by my daughter.

Delicious authentic South Indian food. My wife is from Mumbai and says this is the best Indian restaurant she's found in 3 years in the UK. The seafood and vegetarian dishes in particular were great. My parents ordered the chicken tikka masala and found that the chicken was a little overcooked, but that was the only complaint. It was also a bit more spicy than they're used to - it was marked as medium spicy and they would have been better off ordering something mild, so that's worth bearing in mind if your tolerance is lower. Highly recommend and will definitely eat here again.

A wonderful pub with terrific ales and a selection of lagers for those who like that sort of thing. Lovely terrace overlooking the Eau which is a great place to sit in good weather. Live music on occasions and a real fire during the colder months. Live sport on TV in the Public Bar. Only opens at lunchtime at the weekend, otherwise its 15:00 hrs until late. No food but who needs it when the beer is this good? Friendly landlord and staff.

The best pub in Bourne. I'm new to the area and I've explored all the town pubs. This is a proper English pub. Very down to Earth. Quaint old building. Beer garden by the river. Love it.

I have been coming here for many years now and am very happy with the service, care and attention received. Their strict adherence to Covid-19 procedures was excellent and they continued to operate when allowed, wearing heavy-duty PPE in the height of summer. Thanks guys.

First time I’ve been in many years. Recently under new management and benefiting from a full refurbishment, my return visit did not disappoint. The welcome was friendly and the staff were very nice, polite and accommodating. The menu had really good choices and options from either the main menu or the tapas and pizza menu. The presentation, quality and flavour of the food was very good indeed. No issues at all. I will be retuning very soon!!

We had a lovely meal here with our 2 dogs and 6 month old son. The vegetarian burger was the best one I've ever had. My husband has the turkey and said the pigs in blankets were the best he's had! We would return in a heartbeat. The staff are so friendly and are so accommodating. Would recommend to anyone who loves a family friendly pub.

We decided to try the Five Bells a couple of weeks back after hearing great things. On arrival we had a warm welcome and a little banter regarding running out of my wife’s favourite tipple. I wanted a steak but as I was out the week before at a Marco Pierre White steak house and had a ribeye steak there I was slightly reluctant as I would obviously compare and wow I am so glad I did it was actually better it was cooked to perfection the peppercorn sauce was perfect and the chunky well seasoned chips was amazing ! In fact the whole meal was a true taste sensation. We have since been back to try the tapas which again was delicious, and after being introduced on the first night to a baby Guinness while talking to the new owners Bill & Lucy this is also a new firm favourite of ours. It was such a lovely night and to be made to feel so welcome is something you don’t normally get when you go out to a restaurant, this is now a new firm favourite pub to visit !

Just had a business lunch today at the Five Bells and what a fantastic find. The meal was superb and of very high quality. The staff gave a lovely warm welcome and great to chat with them. The pub decor and furnishings gives the whole place a nice atmosphere and great dining experience. Real ale was great. We will be returning soon. Best Regards, Derek
