I was exceptionally pleased with the work provided. After initial work I was pleased to employ Dave again and I will do so again when the need arises. What most impressed me was his attention to detail. My house was built with, what turned out to be, a bizarre wiring arrangement linking the downstairs and upstairs circuits. The system defied all logic but Dave would not be defeated. He spent several hours trying to identify the logic and consulted with other experts. Many would have given up but Dave persisted and eventually the problem was solved. At my request, he also came up with a number of creative solutions for lighting which is very sympathetic with the rest of my house design. I would strongly recommend Dave. Apart from his technical skills, he is very personable, trustworthy and reliable. He is also an excellent communicator.

Dave and his team worked like troopers from the minute they arrived to leaving, often only stopping to drink a brew thrust upon them. They're attention to detail was outstanding making every effort and more to please us as customers. We were informed at all stages as to how the work was progressing and any issues arising. Dave was excellent with communication via email and calls, he provided clear and detailed information as to quotes and costings. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team. They will be my first and only call for any future works. Thank you Dave for an excellent job.

I am very pleased with the installation of power to my garden building which was carried out in a very competent and professional manner by Dave from D2E Electrical. From my initial contact, he was punctual and I was impressed with the quality of communication. Any queries were answered quickly and he always arrived when he said he would. The work was carried out to a very high standard and was completed in a highly acceptable timeframe. I can happily recommend D2E Electrical.

I asked Dave to install spotlights and an extractor fan in my bathroom. Dave came round and provided a free quote for works and even advised me to install fewer spotlights that I thought I’d need and saved me money. Dave was knowledgeable in relation to the different types of extractor fans on the market. I’d definitely use his services and would recommend for sure.

Dave/Down 2 Earth electrical was absolutely brilliant! I honestly could not recommend him enough for any electrical work you need doing in your home. I had some outside lighting installed that has completely transformed my home. All my friends I’ve shown can’t believe the difference it has made. He initially came round and gave a really helpful consultation where I explained what I wanted, he gave lots of really useful advice on the kind of lighting I needed to achieve what I wanted and then on the day the work was done he completed the job to a high standard. The result is just perfect. Could not be happier, 100000/10.

I cannot thank Green Lane enough for the care they gave my Dear old Annie . She suffered from fits since January . An old lady at 15 , sadly she got a little bit more poorly, but a year on and sadly was her time to run in the field in the sky. She was so looked after by Val and her colleagues. I cannot thank you enough for giving us another year with our dear Annie wobbles. The care till the end was outstanding. We miss her dearly but happy memories a must. Thank you so much all of you . You go beyond and that me and Annie will always be grateful . Thank you for giving me and the boys that extra time and always understanding . Great team. Big love and thanks

First experience of them since moving to Headcorn . Very efficient and friendly and put themselves out for you . Very impressed so far . My cat is very 'spicy' when vets are needed and my previous vets always made it feel and inconvenience, this definitely didn't appear to be the case with Green Lane ☹️

First time I have used these vets. I found them so good. The vet was so good with my dog and explained everything to me. We wasnt rushed at all. He let Pheobe walk around the room so she could smell the room. I will be using Tenterden again.

My dog fell sick when I was in the area on holiday, it was such a worrying time being in an unfamiliar place without our own vet. They were enormously helpful on the phone and booked us in to be seen immediately. The staff at the reception desk and the vet were friendly and reassuring and I left with medication so that we could enjoy the rest of our holiday. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Terrific Vets looked after our Harvey until his last day x Extremely good with dogs wasn't good with anybody and I remember 6 years ago he bit one of the vets awkwardly on the thumb normally that would be game over find another vet but nope not Companion Care. When we got that call that ripped us to shreds when our Harvster was riddled with Cancer they were so understanding. Thank you so very very much for making our Brave little boy welcome to his last days 😭😭😭😭 xx

Recently had to take our cat to Companion Care for multiple visits due to an ongoing health issue that unfortunately resulted in our little friend no longer being with us. This was a very difficult time for us but the staff were exceptional from start to finish! The care and compassion shown by every colleague made the whole experience more bearable and we genuinely felt they done everything they could possibly do to help us through it. WOW WOW WOW What an amazing experience at the black horse, we was greeted by the most welcoming owners and able to choose our own seats meaning as a couple we wasn’t just plonked in a corner and forgotten we instead was waited on hand and foot!! The food was delicious 😋 I had the bubble and Quack which was fabulous (the duck yolk was ooozing) and my husband had a spicy bean mix with a GIANT pork chop. A great value for money and accompanied by great service from all the staff. They even gave poppy (our Labrador) some treats so she felt at home

We had a lovely lunch here on the 21st of December all very last minute as we were in the area.. The staff were fantastic gave us a very table right next to the open fire 🔥 my husband even got to put on a log ... the food was very good 👍 our children were very happy especially with the ice cream and chocolate sauce 😋 had a little dog running very cute .. if we go back that way we will definitely pop back in .. couldn't fault it xx

I have rescued two feral colony cats from Greece and it has not been easy, yesterday was their first vet visit and Jacob was incredible with them. He made it as comfortable as possible with them I was surprised they let him touch them. Although the prices can be a little steep at barrow hill you can't fault the quality of service provided. I wasn't rushed, all my questions were answered and it was a very successful first vets trip for my two. Very lucky to have met him.

Don't be put off by other negative reviews. I wasn't, I read the positive ones and decided it was the place to try. The pub is a home full of character. We called before as in the area and were greeted with a positive welcome. Our meal was cooked to order, with a passion for food. Sardines were large cooked perfectly with rosemary, bread was warm and soft. Sea bass was meaty laid on samphire with a lobster and mussel bisque (clearly homemade from lobster shell stock, yum) lovely new potatoes and fresh veggies. Just about room for dessert, we had apple sultana laced with calvados on a homemade shortbread disc with ice cream. Finished off with a lovely coffee and homemade biscuit. The meal was hot and remained so while eating a good sign of being cooked fresh and not left on a hotplate. The owner is the chef and on reading information about the Dering Arms he's had the building since he was 27 and now plans to retire....it will be a great loss for the area. The landlord buys fish and seafood each week from the coast and adapts his specials board to what's in season. He has reasonable room hire for b&b. Call him first to ensure it's serving, and he's still the chef. Slight threshold step

Popped in for a quick drink with my family when we were visiting the area this afternoon. Knew I'd walked into a good pub when I saw the pile of Classic & Sports Car magazines on the bar! Very well kept pint of Goacher's Dering Ale. Nice chap behind the bar and spotlessly clean loos. Will be back for one of their advertised classic car meetings and to try the food!
