Kingsnorth did a fantastic helping us plan and fit-out our new business, Racing Green Car Storage. The project involved planning and costing a total electrical fit-out, including a large 64-panel solar array. They are knowledgable, patient with new starters like us, full of advice at every step of the way, deliver clear and transparent quotes and were entirely reliable throughout the project. As a business we would highly recommend them.

I’ve had a solar panel and battery installation for some years but I didn’t have a way of diverting excess power to the immersion heater in my hot water tank. I discussed options with Mark just over a year ago. He recommended an Eddi, which he fitted the following week. With 12 months experience, I can say that this was a very good call. I rarely use any gas at all during the summer now and the system has behaved perfectly. Mark can monitor it remotely, so any problem would show up straight away. I’m thus very confident about the system itself and Mark’s installation of it, which, by the way, took less than a morning and was achieved without any fuss at all.

lovely little place on the old high st in folkestone,, i absolutely adored the vibes and atmosphere of it, super friendly staff and super amazing drinks and food! will definitely be coming again! my partner got the “waffle me” waffles and i got the “oh lord” pancakes, was absolutely delicious, will have to come back and try the lunch and evening menu soon!

My husband and I visited Folkestone for a mini break and came to Mocka for breakfast. We'd seen good reviews and thought we'd give it a try. Spectacular! The breakfasts were beautifully presented and of high quality. We'd recommend this place highly. Wishing the owners a lot of success in your venture.

Sunday brunch at the very dog friend, very vegan friendly, Mocka ... right up our very own beautiful street. Sundays are for fab food, and Mocka does not disappoint. Doggy sausages for our beautiful dog Vegan waffles with sausages, spinach, avocado, baked beans, maple syrup and fruit Vegan Delight with sausages, tofu scramble, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, and toast Yet another lush, family run, eatery to add to Folkestone's array of independently owned businesses. Nice looking restaurant. The savoury part of the waffle 🧇 is a bit bland, but I like the combo of savoury and sweet in one plate. The burger is good. One of the friends ordered the sandwich which seems to be the best. :)

We visited here after looking around town for somewhere to have dessert. We really lucked out. The place is newly decorated and is really cute. The passion fruit and mango chiller was delicious and our desserts not only looked good but were delicious! The service was perfect and we really loved the music which set a nice chilled vibe. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Marley's is amazing. I have been here a couple of times with friends and family and I have never been disappointed. Both times I have been here have been for breakfast. The first time I had their version of a fry up and the second time I had pancakes. The fry up was amazing. Really nice sausages and eggs and it was all locally sourced. The pancakes were peanut butter and strawberry. The peanut butter was made at Marleys and I did ask if I could buy some. The price is fair as well and very good value as they make some of the food and buy locally. If you are coming for the pancakes it's worth knowing that they change the topping week to week so look at their Instagram.

Lovely meal, great service. The sharing platter for starters was really nice. For mains, I would highly recommend the pork belly or the steak. Went for an anniversary meal and every staff member to came to the table wished us a happy anniversary and had a little personal note on the table it was a nice touch 😊

Popped in here for a lite lunch before hitting the harbour. We were seated quickly without booking, which was great for a Sat. The food was good, but large portions, so be aware.

We were lucky to get a table for early dinner and were not disappointed. The smashed burger was delicious and the service was fantastic and friendly. Food was hot and we hardly waited ten minutes. Great that it’s not overpriced and they don’t automatically add service charge to your bill. We shall definitely return soon. give the overpriced harbour arm a miss and visit this gem

🤩 Took a trip from Margate especially to revisit Marleys. Their service is fantastic and food is just delicious ! Excellent prices for the quality of the food you are getting. So much cheaper than Margate cafes 💰 🐶🛑 NOTE: the cafe js NOT dog friendly if you want to eat a meal (u can have a coffee at the front) so you have to leave your furry friend at home!

I have used Relay at 5 different properties - varying roles, from running electrics round the garden for lighting and hot tubs, full re wires and then changing lights and moving sockets and switches. They always turn up when they say they are normally with a Text message reminder sent the day before arrival ,nothing is any hassle ( even if the plans / design change our end ) and all always polite and professional. I never hesitate to pass on their details to friends and family and everyone has the same view! I have dealt with alot of electricians in my time and these guys can do the lot. Also good in ‘urgent’ cases for my tenanted properties - they can always juggle something to get someone back on supply or to fix a fault So I will always recommend Relay to anyone

Wonderfully creative vegan food, that deserves a Michelin Star ⭐⭐⭐ There is something quite delightful about not having to ask "is this vegan?"! We're always delighted with flavour profiles, the inventive team come up with. We shared 4 small plates, and only just had enough room for pudding... Which you must not miss! Darren installed a GIVenergy battery towards the end of July 2024. The installation went smoothly but shortly after it became apparent that there was a problem with theGIVenergy battery. Darren was extremely helpful in liasing with GIVenergy to identify the fault in the battery packs.This led to replacement battery packs from GIV energy which has solved the problems with the system. I can strongly recommend Darren for not only the installation but also the after sales support when it became apparent that the original battery packs supplied by GIVenergy were faulty.

Contacted Darren as he’s a GivEnergy fully trained installer. Initial phone consultation was very helpful and Darren had plenty of ideas. Site survey was carried out a few days later with measurements and plenty of ideas for placement of batteries. Darren then sent a fully comprehensive email with various solar and storage options and estimates of annual solar generation and savings. After deciding what options an order was placed for materials. Darren estimated three days to install solar, batteries and also replacing my old EV charger. I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything went, Darren and his team are extremely professional, all the work was completed on time despite horrendous weather and looks really good, and they were so tidy. Darren is one of the nicest guys you could meet and he should be called a Master Electrician and I cannot recommend him highly enough, many thanks Darren.
