We were really unlucky with the most horrific rain, all day. But even with that and the 4 if us struggling to play any good golf, we brought a four ball to go back in the auction afterwards. That says it all really, lovely course and great greens, we didn't see it at it's best, but it was still great. Can't wait to come back with better weather. đź‘Ť

Played a match here a couple of weeks back and as a club golfer of 50 years, really couldn’t find any faults. The course was in excellent condition, the clubhouse very welcoming and even the weather was spot on.
Rating: 5 / 5
Really enjoyed this course would certainly return. Felt like a mini Wentworth
Rating: 5 / 5
Have played many courses in the past few weeks, & despite having access to only limited water the green keepers have done an astonishing job keeping the course in great condition! Best course in the area! Great apre-golf experience too!
Rating: 5 / 5
Seriously good golf course and some of the views from the tees simply awesome. Decent and friendly pro shop and the food, snack and beer selection was great. Great service too.

What can I say but what a fantastic day a friend and I had at Puttenham Golf Club yesterday. We had been invited back to Puttenham for lunch and golf. On arrival we were met by Andrea and her team, who were so friendly and helpful. Club Manager Tom even had time to come and have a chat with us. Lunch was fantastic, beautifully presented and far more than we expected. We played 18 holes of golf and the course was in impressive condition and we sailed round in very good time. To sum up a great golf course, amazing staff and superb lunch - thank you.

Godalming Footpath Companions have enjoyed our annual Christmas lunches at Puttenham Golf Club for the past 7 years. The food is excellent and Andrea and the chef have been very helpful in accomodating different preferences and requirements. The service is friendly, attentive and professional. A delight from soup to mince pies, as they nearly say across the pond. Many thanks!

Our Golf Society had a marvellous day at Puttenham Golf Course. There were 19 of us and we made to feel very welcome by staff and members alike. The golf course was in great condition and the greens were excellent. The facilities in the clubhouse and the catering were also very good. It was a great day's golf, and we were very well looked after.

We had our 40th birthday party here after our original venue double booked us; Andrea from the events team saved the day! The menu we had was great and what we wanted, the space for our party was big and has some outdoor space which was handy. Andrea and her team were very helpful and accommodating. The girls helped with putting up decorations and were friendly, polite and went above and beyond. We are so thankful. At times planning a party can be overwhelming and Andrea was lovely and helpful in putting our thoughts together and coming up with different ideas. Overall I would definitely recommend Puttingham Golf Club for any event you may have. It’s a great venue with lovely surroundings with helpful staff. Thanks Andrea and Team! You rock!

Played on weds afternoon 1.30pm tee off in Sept. The course was in immaculate condition due to the pro am the next day. A lovely selection of challenging holes that are quite hilly. No water but very scenic. Great course, nice bar area and friendly staff. Half way hut does drinks and snacks. Reccomended!

Clandon Regis Golf Course
Epsom Rd, West Clandon, Guildford GU4 7TT, UK | Sports Club P: 01483 224888
Rating: 4.6 (142) Price Level:
Despite a bit of rain, the course was in fantastic shape, with beautiful autumn colors and smooth greens. The pro shop staff and members were all super friendly, making us feel right at home. The view of the clubhouse from the 18th hole looked straight out of a postcard! We wrapped up the day with a pint of Guinness at the bar, enjoying the view over the course. Can’t wait to come back!
Rating: 4 / 5
Played the course a couple of days ago for the first time. It’s a nice course. Fairways were in good condition and most of the tees. Greens had plenty of undulations and were quick. Enjoyed the day and food was great. The only gripe was the cost. Visitors fee is £55, which is reasonable. However, county card rate is £50, which is hardly worth having the discount. I would have expected the county card rate to be around £40 to £45, which would be more comparable with other courses of this type in the area. Unfortunately, until this cost adjustment is made, we are unlikely to return sadly. This the reason I rated 4 and not 5
Rating: 5 / 5
What a lovely course, some challenging holes, but playable even for a high handicapper like me. The greens are excellent and the fairways were in great shape. Friendly, welcoming club with a great clubhouse and practice/warm up facilities.

Surrey is littered with fantastic golf courses so often really great clubs get over looked or not get the recognition they deserve. Clandon is definitely one of those clubs. Played a few weeks back with some pals and we were all really impressed with the quality of the course and also the facilities. Go check it out as soon as you can.

Golf course was great and in excellent condition for this time of year. Well kept greens that were quick and challenging. Well priced too which mean it was busy but good to see lots of people out playing
Rating: 4 / 5
A course in very nice condition. It's a nice layout if a little short but they have done well with the space. Very nice club house with friendly staff. We stayed and watched the end of the cricket World Cup on the big TV.
Rating: 4 / 5
Always a pleasure to play here, always in good condition, really good drainage so playable all year round. Good investment recently so upgrading some of the bunkers and new sprinklers fitted to water it during the summer!
Rating: 5 / 5
A very nice course suited to all levels of play. Compared to other courses in the area (due to the dry weather) the Greens were in amazing condition. The ground was still pretty hard from the dry spell making shots from the fairways a little tricky. The fairways are nice and wide and forgiving, a number of the par 4’s were drivable. The course has some large greens that maintain a good consistent ball speed. The clubhouse and its staff were great. Overall this course is extremely good value.

Hoebridge Golf Centre
Old Woking Rd, Old Woking, Woking GU22 8JH, UK | Golf Course P: 01483 722611
Rating: 4.4 (1772) Price Level:
The main course golf is good decent track. The Par 4's are long and the greens are good. What I liked was the fact the Par 3's are 130 yards and more. Some good hills too. Great facilities beyond the course. I haven't played short course or the Pirate Crazy golf but aware that they are well thought of. Used the range. A Trackman range with good screen size and quality data.
Rating: 5 / 5
Really nice golf course. I used the driving range which had table service to your bay so you could enjoy a pint whilst you play. On site they also have a gym, massage palour, crazy golf, restaurant and shop. There is also a function room available
Rating: 5 / 5
Visit the driving range regularly with my partner and the service is always great and the staff are always really helpful and friendly especially Sam, on multiple occasions he has gone out of his way to ensure we have a great experience. Really appreciate this and would always recommend Hoebridge to friends and family!
Rating: 5 / 5
Played for the first time this January and was impressed with the overall condition. Drainage is good so playable in most conditions. Would like to see the greens in better condition - seems to be an inability for people to repair pitch marks but with a large number of visitors this is hard to control. A nice mix is decent par 5's and some reachable par 4's with everything in-between. Will defiantly be back.

Rating: 4.3 (222) Price Level:
Definitely my favourite winter course to play in Surrey! Beautiful views, always dry, the course has some interesting, challenging and fun holes, and it's a bargain at ÂŁ30 for a weekend game. Highly recommended. The only thing I would like is some driving nets and a practice putting green
Rating: 4 / 5
Nice course and not too challenging to play. Well kept, excellent greens and dry even after all this rain. Very friendly and helpful staff in the tiny proshop. The only downside was as a singleton I followed a fourball of members for 18 holes. Learn to call people through guys.
Rating: 5 / 5
First time here today and an absolute delight to play. Fairways beautiful and green. Greens recently sanded so rapid but in great condition….green keepers obviously do a fantastic job. Scenic views on multiple holes. Course is pretty forgiving but greens and surrounding areas are a challenge with some picturesque holes. Maybe my new favourite course in Surrey! My only gripe is no beer at the club house to celebrate after my best ever score on a golf course…….but Thank you either way lol
Rating: 5 / 5
Given the recent weather we've had, Clandon golf course is in tremendous condition, fairways well maintained and kept, greens clean and sharp, I was so happy with my round of golf today. A fantastic course which has to remain in the heart of Surrey! If I have one bug bare, it's the cost of a bacon and egg roll, other than that - a brilliant course and I will be back!
Rating: 5 / 5
Great golf course! It's not pretentious, well-kept, reasonably priced, and offers an amazing view. They also have a 9-hole option, which is exactly what we were looking for. The buggy rental was very affordable as well. Overall, it's excellent value for money. I recommend visiting if you're just looking to play some golf without all the bells and whistles.

Loved every minute of our time at TopGolf. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This was my first time here and I definitely look forward to visiting again. There was loads of parking and the lunch was very good as well.
Rating: 5 / 5
Perfect place to have some fun with friends. ÂŁ15 for 3 games during the week is a brilliant deal - stayed for about 3 hours with no rush to finish games by a certain time. Staff were very friendly/helpful and the facilities were clean. Food was great too!
Rating: 5 / 5
I took my girls here for a surprise birthday treat (none of us are golfers) but they absolutely loved it. The staff were very helpful explaining how it all worked as none of us had been before, food and drink prices were reasonable and we weren't rushed at any stage. It isn't the cheapest activity but then compared to bowling I'd say it's definitely better value and we will definitely be back soon!
Rating: 5 / 5
It's certainly the least Technological TopGolf I've been to, but it is still plenty of fun. Great service, good food, happy atmosphere. It was worth the long way out of London to here.
Rating: 5 / 5
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Topgolf and was blown away by the exceptional experience. Not only was the golfing fun and challenging, but the food and service were truly outstanding. The menu offered a variety of options, including several delicious vegetarian dishes. While I didn't try them all, the ones I did sample were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The presentation was also top-notch, making each meal a visual treat. The service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. They made sure that we had everything we needed and were constantly checking in to ensure our satisfaction. I would highly recommend Topgolf to anyone looking for a fun and memorable night out. The combination of excellent food, top-notch service, and a fantastic atmosphere make it a truly special place.

Such a gorgeous course & lovely bar area. But especially have to shoutout the staff and general manager as they are always so friendly & helpful. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Cracking track in the middle of Surrey. Have played here a few times over 2024 each time was a pleasure. Tees, greens and fairways in good condition and a good mix of attacking holes as well as some tall rough to keep you on your toes. Not the longest had its defences. Pro shop is limited but bar and staff are good - recommend the cheesy chips!
Rating: 5 / 5
Brilliant golf course. Really good quality and well maintained. Offers a good challenge, many blind pin locations. Definitely coming back, I was highly impressed.
Rating: 4 / 5
Nice course, not long, but some interesting holes that require smart play instead of long hitting. We were warned (when starting, not when booking....) that play would be slow because some IBM group was playing. We enjoyed playing though, all 5 hours of it..
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely, well kept course that’s great fun to play and looks beautiful. A few challenging holes over water and alongside train tracks create a great mix of hole difficulty. Great value too. £11 twilight? Amazing! Staff are friendly and helpful especially when I’m running late, allowing me to run straight onto the 1st tee.

Silvermere Golf

Rating: 4.3 (391) Price Level:
I went for an iron custom fitting at Silvermere. It was the first time I’d experienced custom fitting & it surpassed everything I was expecting. Louis was a breath of fresh air, honest feedback & explaining every step of the process. I had an open mind as to clubs I wanted, of course I had an idea but I promised myself I would go with whatever I was recommended. After establishing a base to work from with my current 7 iron, we then went through a few different clubs, analysing the data from each shot. Louis then suggested I try Cobra forged tec irons. Again, using feel & data, the cobra came out best time after time, especially reducing my spin rate numbers. I was dreading a hard sell but the reality couldn’t be further from a hard sell. I had a report printed that showed my new clubs spec & cost. I was also emailed this information along with a link to pay for the clubs once I’d decided to proceed. No hard sell, no frills or pressure. I can’t recommend a custom fitting at Silvermere highly enough. It was a fantastic experience & whatever you spend on the custom fitting, you get it back when you buy the clubs so you can’t lose. 10/10 from me!

PHENOMENAL SERVICE! There are many reasons why Silvermere are so highly rated but the customer service is top for me! Just want to say thank you to Noah and Matt for saving the day yesterday, I drove an hour to the course only to realise I left my Motocaddy battery on my doorstep! They didn't hesitate in lending me a battery FOC. The course is going through some maintenance but still in fantastic condition. Don't hesitate to book a round!
Rating: 4 / 5
Lovely course and will test your all round golf skills - particularly the last two holes. Good facilities and friendly staff. Buggy not a must but recommended due to some distance with certain holes - pro shop great but not cheap! overall good golf experience for the green fee! Recommend

I had an iron fitting at silvermere golf club and it was fantastic. They had loads of stock and all the latest clubs ready to hit. Ian was amazing and got me fitted perfectly with new ping irons. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get fit for new golf clubs

Pine Ridge Golf Club
Old Bisley Rd, Frimley, Camberley GU16 9NX, UK | Sports Club P: 01276 675444
Rating: 4 (482) Price Level:
The fairways and greens at this golf course were in top nick, and the rough was challenging. Played as a 2 ball behind a 4 ball and still managed to get around on 4 hours, which is great! Most definitely looking forward to playing Pine Ridge when next in the area.
Rating: 5 / 5
We had our wedding at Pine Ridge on 02.03.2024. It was one of the best days of our lives and it was all thanks to Georgia and her faultless team, nothing was too much trouble for them. We chose the Baronial Hall which has so much character that minimal decoration was needed. All our family and friends commented on how beautiful the venue was. There is a wonderful, charm atmosphere throughout the whole venue. Thank you again for making our day so special!
Rating: 5 / 5
I have played this golf course about 3 times now. Every time it has been very good. Great conditions and staff are very friendly and helpful. My most recent trip I was able to bring my dog on a lead which they had no issues about and are dog friendly. I was able to speak to a Staff member called William over the phone who was very helpful. The only issue I would raise is that the Green fees are quite expensive. Each time I have gone it has been about ÂŁ30-ÂŁ40 for 18 holes.
Rating: 4 / 5
Really fun course to play and we really enjoyed it, and the food afterwards was very good. The worst rental trolleys of any course l’ve ever been to. All bunkers were out of play for some reason and the fairways need some work.
Rating: 4 / 5
Played here on Saturday 21st after a very late course closure where we were due to play locally. Booking system is excellent and easy to use. The starter was really friendly and helpful. As we were teeing off after midday he let us go early as the course wasn’t that busy. Without that we wouldn’t have got 18 in b4 dark. Course is a great layout. A little careworn in places but that’s due to the pressure it can get and the recent wet weather. Bit slow on back 9 but we got in as a 4 ball in 4 hrs thanks to a terrific 2 ball we were following whom let us play through on 18 - thanks guys ! Thoroughly recommend. Good test and fair as well.
