Top Golf Courses in Doveridge, Derbyshire

A group of us played here as part of a away day.

We were welcomed by several members of the management team and staff on arrival. They made a real fuss of us and we were made to feel right at home.

We had bacon sandwiches which are spot on before playing 18 holes. The course has recently undergone renovation which has included re-doing all the bunkers. It was a good challenge and we all really enjoyed it.

Following the game we had a lamb dinner which was superb.

I can't wait to play here again.

Played in the seniors open yesterday. First time visitors and hopefully not the last. The course is a very good layout with a good mix of holes and in very good condition. The greens were immaculate and very difficult to read. Only 2 small negatives. One was the bunkers were we hit the matting under the sand on more than one occasion. Also the pace of play with the round taking 4 hours and 45 minutes. Catering open till 9pm which meant we could get food after the round which was very good. A very enjoyable day and well worth a visit.

We went to Prestbury for an exchange day.
The golf course was in fantastic condition. Fairways and greens all top notch. We had a super fun round of golf, constantly admiring the course.
The catering however was above and beyond.
For our meal the chef had prepared a whole salmon which he served up to us individually. He'd prepared a ham joint which was sliced and presented beatofully. All was accompanied with what I belive to be home made hollandaise and tartar sauces new potatoes and a salad of seasonal veg. To follow there was an impressive display of gorgeous desserts. At least 3 different types of home made custards, creme brulee, lemon custard tart, and a creme Anglaise. Also a couple of fantastic meringue roulades.
It was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Prestbury for the best day.

My friends and I had a fabulous day at Prestbury Golf Club. We were welcomed with coffee and bacon barms by the staff in the clubhouse 👍 We were made to feel very welcome by the staff in the Pro shop and Stuart the General Manager. The course was brilliant ! We enjoyed the challenge so much. Thank you to everyone including the members who we met in the clubhouse and were very friendly. We will be looking out for your Opens next year 😀
