I have used Gavin and his team for some outside lighting installation on an Aircraft Hangar at Bournemouth Airport which I am very satisfied with. We were made to feel very welcome in this lovely barn. Was everything and more than we expected. Especially the gardens and walks by the river. Ideally placed to travel and explore Dorset with good access to the places and friends we wanted to visit. Good selection of local pubs and restaurants- would recommend The Saxon Inn. Regarded this holiday as a taster and will certainly be back. Thank you, Steven & Georgina, for sharing your beautiful home.

If we could give it 10 stars we would! The most peaceful and relaxing stay we have ever had. Steven is brilliant, just so nice and helpful, gave lots of personal recommendations for places to eat and visit ahead of our stay. You get a very warm welcome and immediately know you have made a great choice. The accomodation is to a very high standard, we had our best sleeps ever, a very comfortable bed indeed. The setting is delightful, I doubt you could find a better place to wind the days away or as a base for visiting the surrounding area. Ron & Michele

We had a wonderful week's stay at the 'Appleyard.' From the initial booking through to the final departure, Steven, (the owner) provided excellent communication, including travel advice, inventory listings and advice on things to do and see in the locality. We were greeted by Steven on arrival who then gave a brief but very thorough run through of the abundant facilities. The description of the property was a true reflection of what we found, which is very tastefully decorated, well equipped and extremely comfortable and homely. (We especially appreciated the footstools where we could put our feet up in the evening after long and beautiful walks). The location is exceptionally quiet and tranquil, making it very easy to connect with the outdoors and nature, which all lent itself to a relaxing time to unwind and recharge our batteries. Without hesitation, we would visit again in the future, and would highly recommend Hammoon Manor.

Steven, I'd just like to say thank you for our lovely stay last week. We had a wonderful time in your beautiful accommodation. There was so much space both inside and outside the properties for three generations of a family to have a fun and relaxing stay. The decor and overall presentation of the property is beautiful and extremely high and as a very keen gardener and lover of nature I really appreciated your walled garden and the acres of meadow and riverside all around the property. .We would not hesitate to return.

I had an electrical outage. My Internet, fridge, and all appliances were out. I called for the emergency call out service and the electrician offered to help me. I sent him a photo of my mains and he was able to walk me through the issue over the phone. Great service, would definitely recommend.

I had an issue with my electric sockets in my house which happened over night and I was having an issue to find the cause/source for the problem. After long day at work it was challenge to get some one to come around to fix. I "googled" found this SES LTD. When called spoken to Jonathan who patiently listened to my story and explanation of events and what I tried so far. He kindly gave me some further guidance and advice what else to try and after 2 more calls over the next 20 min we found the cause. Jonathan does not know me and I didn't know him, however he treated me like he is just a friend who would happily to help out when needed. He didn't even ask for money. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

We came here for breakfast for my mum's birthday and it did not disappoint! The ingredients are of the highest quality, everything was cooked perfectly and the coffee was great. We were a table of 7 adults and a highchair, and the service was incredibly friendly and professional. The outdoor tables with a view were a perfect way to finish our morning with a coffee and a cannoli. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we look forward to returning soon!

Terry recently undertook the task of bringing power from our house to our external office/work space. He also wired it along with the installation of led ceiling lights and a number of sockets and switches. He also installed the associated earthing rods. In addition we asked for some help with regard to wiring our internet from the house to the new space. Terry was happy to carry out the additional work. At all times Terry was communicative, tidy and professional in the work heâs carried out for us. We were very happy with the service provided. Would use again and would happily recommend to others.

Having never needed an electrician in Dorset before, Terry was the first and only contact I needed to make. He completed a thorough survey of the work required and subsequently provided a quote which I was more than happy with. I did not feel I had to look elsewhere. Terry did some work for us at our holiday cottage. We found him to be very accommodating and trustworthy, which was essential as he needed to be in the house alone. He also identified a fault on the electrical circuit he was originally working on and after being told that to find the fault could take anything from an hour to a day to find, we were worried about the bill we could potentially receive. The bill was very reasonable and this was another demonstration of how fair and trustworthy he is. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night at Plumber Manor. The staff were without exception helpful, friendly and efficient. We had a beautifully cooked dinner and the breakfast was first-rate. The hotel is in a quiet location and the grounds are kept very well with attractive topiary and well-planted borders. We would definitely return another time.

Fabulous food, interesting wine list with a range of half bottles too. Good value for Londoners!!! Friendly relaxed service. Welcoming sitting room with open fire. We went to Plumber Manor for a birthday meal whilst visiting Dorset. The service, comfort, ambience and food were all exceptional. This is a fabulous hotel and restaurant with a relaxed and efficient style set in beautiful gardens. The menu offers something for every taste and palette, the waiting staff are efficient, unobtrusive and professional. I have been all over the world and have stayed and dined at numerous hotels. Since 1991 I have stayed several times, every year, at Plumber Manor and I can in all honesty say that I have nowhere felt as comfortable and at home as in that wonderful little Country Hotel tucked away in lovely Dorset. Also the food and wine list are superb and the fact that Plumber Manor was elected best Hotel in Southern England in 2024 is totally justifiable.

We stopped off here for breakfast at the end of a weekend away as weâd heard from our hosts that they did good food and were dog friendly. The food was delicious and great value. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we managed to pick up a couple of early Xmas presents for hampers as a bonus! Would highly recommend.

A wonderful find hidden away at Stalbridge Dorset we have a warm welcome and could sit outside or in the restaurant area, the menu had a good range of meals and the homemade cake where to die for. I am fussy about coffee this was good roosted by readscoffee.co.uk.

Margot has been running her cafe from this site about 8 years,so I have been many times in i think the last 7+ years... I live around 150 miles away,and hadn't been here since Christmas... So I got down about 06.30 this morning and had table booked for 09.30..... I can not fault this cafe,I tend to have the Spire Hill Grill and I have yet to have a bad bit of any meal. With the ever increase in cost of living,I was expecting it to be more expensive than Christmas 2022...but nope,same price,and I think it is amazing quality for a very reasonable price. I was with family that live in Dorset and visit this fantastic cafe often....in fact my sister was in the day before also. The staff are lovely...Margot (owner) is a true professional and has built her business up over the years,take look at the website,and the produce that have,home made jams etc etc,I understand they now have some of the produce selling in a local shop. The customers in the cafe are also friendly,and seem to know each other.... I did a review on TaT before,and I'm doing this update as and edit,my original is below. We had pot of tea and three coffees...the little milk bottles,the glass teapot are just examples of some of the things they do differently...and it all goes to show the love Margot has for food and service to her customers (friends) The head chef Eve (pink shorts ;) ) is also a little star,and has been with TaT from being tutored from as an apprentice to becoming head chef... And is a credit to Margot and to catering... We came away with a couple of pieces of home made cakes....and will enjoy later. I know before I arrive that the experience will be all I could reasonably expect,and could only ever leave a rate of 5 star.... Anything less...I'm my view is unjust.
