Craig, Dean and crew did a fantastic job designing and setting up our whole house Solaredge PV system including 18 panels, battery, hot water diverter, car charger and backup interface so we can run the house during powercuts. We've now been running for 5 months and the energy companies are now paying us money! Very clean and tidy job, and helpful and knowledgable proposing different options/solutions and answering all our questions both before and after the installation. Couldn't recommend them more!

Such a hidden gem in the very touristy Lulworth cove area. First of all, Sarah and her family are really great hosts and we had a great time chatting with her and her lovely mom. Sarah was reachable anytime via calls/messages when we had any questions. The room was astonishingly furnished and decorated and we had a very comfortable stay for two nights. The breakfast was top notch with an exquisite array of fruits and a traditional English breakfast and they were kind enough to accommodate our food preferences. You wouldn’t get breakfasts like this in places where you pay extra for the food. Overall, highly highly recommend this place if you want to relax and enjoy the surroundings in a very accessible location to Lulworth cove and Durdle door.

My cousin and I just stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The location was perfect- you can easily walk into the town for the restaurants or hiking, and there is a store quite close for basic groceries and toiletries. The rooms were spacious and clean, and there is even a shared kitchenette available to use. What we liked best of all was the included breakfast. High quality and fresh food was a great start to our day. Thank you to Sarah and her parents for the hospitality and lovely conversations!

Such a hidden little gem! Everything was spotless, the room was very clean, with all the amenities and beyond for a B&B (even a smart TV) and loved the matching interior and furniture with countryside touch. Very comfortable bed as well. Breakfast was really superb, with wide choice of high quality fruit and hot home made dishes. The host, Sarah and family, were extremely nice, welcoming and always available. Loved the location, few mins walk from the busier Lulworth cove and great having own parking and cosy window views! Hope to be back soon.

I Visited Lulworth Cove for the first time with my family and The Old Barn was the perfect choice for all of us to stay in for our weekend trip. Sara and her parents are enjoyable hosts with great advice for trip options and they make a mean English breakfast. Each bedroom ( as we took up all of them) were clean, well kept, comfortable and had great views of the property. We loved sitting in the garden and appreciated how accessible everything is. We will be recommending this authentic, warm and quaint B&B to everyone who plans on making a visit here. Highly Recommended!

We had a really great stay at the old barn. We arrived after a rainy hike on the South West Coast Path and Sarah and her parents were really accommodating. The room was nice and spacious and everything was clean. We felt very comfortable. The whole house had a great atmosphere, with bookshelves in various corners. There was a small kitchenette with a microwave and plates. The breakfast was awesome. A lot of fresh fruit, cereals, toast etc. and fresh made pancakes. Sarah made a great vegetarian and vegan breakfast. Lulworth cove is a 10 minute walk and offers beautiful views. We would definitely stay again at the old barn.

I needed extensive work including a large bridge. Pascal is an outstanding dentist who did an excellent job, showing a degree of care and precision that in my experience has been rare in dentists. The final product was faultless. I'm extremely happy with my dental work from MouthPeace.

I cannot recommend MouthPeace highly enough, especially Dr. Sherryl Colaco! They are amazing! I'm a US Citizen who was traveling across the UK for 2 weeks, and ran into a dental emergency halfway through our trip. Each day we were traveling 100+ miles, and staying in different towns. The pain I was having with a tooth was excruciating. We showed up at MouthPeace at 8:30am opening on a Thursday, without an appointment, and asked if they could help me. They made room for me in the schedule within an hour, and performed work that stopped ALL the pain, and prepared me for having a root canal when I get home. Rather than fly home early, I was able to enjoy the last 6 days of my vacation completely pain free. Dr. Colaco was wonderful, explaining the entire process, telling me what to tell my dentist back home, and even giving me copies of the X-rays to help with the work needed upon my return. She worked swiftly, smoothly, and did fantastic work of a seasoned pro. Within a short time, all my pain ceased! The entire staff was fantastic. They were empathetic to my plight, friendly, and I cannot thank them enough for helping someone in need, regardless of where they were from. You have my eternal gratitude for your compassion, and professional work. You all truly changed the course of our trip, and I directly owe my ability to enjoy it on your kindness. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart! -Fred

I can’t recommend Cheryl more highly. I suffered for many years with facial pain. That is now a thing of the past as Cheryl has built up my bite. It really makes a difference to the quality of my life. After a lifetime of hating my teeth I now love them and am happy to smile. Resulting from orthodontic treatment years ago, I was left with ‘black triangles’ between my top and bottom front teeth. Cheryl has now filled in these in and my smile is transformed. I have waited until I was 59 to have this work done. I wish I had met Cheryl years ago.

Corina is a really good dentist. She has always been careful to ensure my husband and I understand why some work needs doing. Her prices are low to medium 'private'. During a period of 3 years she has changed both our sets of gnashers from 'showing their age (a lot)' into very strong and stable. Her Dental nurse Aneta is very calm and capable. Thoroughly recommended..

My dental journey with South Coast Implant & Cosmetic Dentist has been amazing from day one. After experiencing many issues with my implants placed in a different dental surgery I found dentists who were willing to help me. David Furze and his team are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and kind. They listened attentively to my concerns, explained all procedures and options in detail, and addressed my previous implant issues with expertise. David's positive attitude and enthusiasm made the treatment process much easier. The atmosphere at the surgery is welcoming and friendly, and I always felt comfortable and at ease. We've been super-happy with Joe and his colleagues. Highly recommended. We discoevered Joe through a previous small job at our colttage where they were sub-contracted by our builder. This week, they replaced a whole lot of ageing night-storage heaters with modern, programmable radiators at our rather old and crumbly cottage in Dorset. Joe gave great advice, answering every email really quickly. We were away when they did the job over a couple of days. We returned to find everything completed absolutely perfectly. The cabling from our meter was rewired as needed. Everything just right. New radiators installed, firmly fixed to our walls of various weird and historic materials. Other than the radiators being installed, we wouldn't have known they'd been here! The heavy old contraptions full of grime and bricks had been dismantled and taken away without any fuss, or dust. Through no fault of theirs, one of the new radiators had a little fault. They responded instantly and had sourced and installed a new one within 24 hours. Unbelievable! Everything friendly, cheerful, efficient, responsive and charged exactly the price agreed in advance. We are very happy (and warm!) bunnies indeed. Thank you Joe and Mark! All the best, Jon (Dorset DT2)

Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa. Also I think it’s wonderful that Joe takes on apprentices, to train the next generation of electricians.

I have been considering creating an en suite shower room and effecting some external works at my property but was somewhat daunted by managing a project. Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating Services and James Newsam Construction were recommended by neighbours. Joe and James, who often work in collaboration, came to assess what was required and quote a week after contact. Options were discussed, sensible advice given and a detailed quote and anticipated start date followed shortly thereafter. The Project commenced on the agreed start date with a team of professional, pleasant, experienced, local trades arriving one after the other! all were well-briefed, hard working and consulted me in relation to any decisions (style of doors, placement of switches etc) as necessary. The ethos and importance of "Customer Satisfaction" was obvious throughout. Any queries I had were responded to by Joe or James, usually within the hour. Joe managed the sequence of events entirely for all the electrical and plumbing work, which was completed to a very high standard. I am delighted with my new En Suite Shower Room, it is spacious, practical and stylish and will doubtless add value to my property. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, who I will definitely use again. PS the final Invoice was exactly as quote and I literally could not fault any part of the service I received.

Faultless service from John. We wanted an extractor fan installed when we uncovered an old air vent when remodelling the bathroom. John used the vent and gave recommendations for the type of fan and relocated our light switch to include connection to the extractor fan. Clear quote and spec. of product given and plenty of advice, together with relevant documentation and final invoice for a good price. We have plenty more to do in our old house and will not hesitate to use his services again.

All work was performed to a high standard, and he really took the time to explain everything and suggest useful tips and tricks. We are extremely happy with the work and the little extras that John helped us with. The overall cost was very reasonable for the work that was put in. Highly recommended!

Beautiful beach, great scenery, life sapping walk... so beware if with elderly/ infirm/unfit people and I'd recommend the proper carpark, not Lulworth Cove, as it's a proper trek from there over Lulworth Steps, although the return journey is easier. And it is worth it as it's a very picturesque place.

Great place to see some amazing Geology / Physical geography. About 145 steps , not suitable for buggies …. Beach is from fine to course gravel can be awkward to walk on if you have mobility issues Huge car park at the top , though if you are prepared to walk a bit there are other places to park to avoid the costs. The public toilets were clean , though the language coming out of the cleaner who was only talking to himself .. loudly .. was more suited to a Pirates ship, than a very public place with elderly and children about . Also apparently he doesn’t like working with Monkeys , so perhaps this is just a sideline, and he normally works at a circus .. or in the rigging of the aforementioned Pirate ship. Nice to see he has settled down to a landlubber’s job though after years at sea.. though sadly still working with monkeys , apparently. So a great place to visit !

Durdle Door is an absolutely stunning seaside destination. The crystal-clear waters are simply breathtaking, making it perfect for a refreshing swim or just soaking in the beauty of nature. The beach is rocky rather than sandy, which adds to its unique charm, but be sure to wear appropriate footwear for comfort. Reaching the beach requires a descent down a hill, which takes about 10 minutes, but trust me, the journey is worth it. Once you arrive, you'll find an incredible spot where you can easily spend the whole day enjoying the sun, the sea, and the picturesque views. Parking is also a breeze, making it convenient to access this hidden gem. Overall, Durdle Door offers a memorable experience.

It's really very interesting to visit this place in the morning at about 8 am because of parking space and less crowded. There is enough place for food and drinks. Toilets are there. Parking for 4 hours is 10 pounds and one day, 20 pounds. Actually, it's recommended for all ages. Get chilled for one day would be my recommendation. It is very easy to drive there.

Durdle Door Beach is absolutely breathtaking! The iconic limestone arch is a must-see, and the views along the Jurassic Coast are stunning. The water is crystal clear, though a bit cold, and the pebble beach adds a unique touch. The hike down to the beach is steep, but the effort is worth it for the incredible scenery. It can get crowded, especially during the summer, so arriving early is a good idea. Also, the facilities are limited, so make sure to bring your own supplies. Parking is available but fills up fast. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for nature lovers and photographers!
