We had a really good, quickly served (by nice staff) meal at a reasonable price. We live less than a mile away and had avoided the place for 10 years (it used to be terrible) but we've now been converted!

The room was clean, really good but in our room I think room 5, the heating was not working or quite difficult to manipulate. Anyway, it was a really good place to stay, comfortable bed, awesome restaurant - we had dinner and a complementary breakfast there, and it was very well-priced. We were charged initially for the food we didn't purchase, but it was easily rectified and refunded. Good service.

25 of my family booked this lovely pub for our annual Christmas get together on Sunday 17th November, as we chose halfway from all of us to meet up. Always a gamble when you book somewhere you not been before. Well, the Hunters Lodge Inn did not disappoint. It was really busy at 1:45pm, we had a whole section to ourselves, tables laid out, we put crackers on and had a corner for all our Secret Santa gifts. We asked for a rubbish bag so we could clean up afterwards. Jade was truly professional and a credit to the pub, she looked after us all. Service was amazing considering it was so busy. The food (carvery) was so tasty, hot, lots of it and served to you by a really lovely man. Everyone that worked here showed they really enjoy it. Car parking was fab and a lovely park for the kids. Thank you so much from us all and we look forward to seeing you all in 2025. Our new find 😃

We stopped at this pub on a Sunday and enjoyed a roast dinner. Despite initially being informed that they were fully booked, the owner overheard and welcomed us inside, finding us a place to sit with a friendly local. We found the staff really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere inside was warm and welcoming with some live music. The food was delicious, a perfect roast dinner. We would definitely recommend this place.

Came into this lovely little village for a over night stay as in a coach driver. Was told this was the only place to eat and drink - the food was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the steak and ale pie! The meat was sooooooo goood! The chips were perfect too, I had a brownie for dessert which melted in my mouth - they also pour a perfect Guinness, the owners greeted us very nicely, very kind people who made me feel welcome.

Absolutely loved this little gem. Stayed in the loft room which is very quaint. Very comfortable bed and amazing shower. Veryan and Peter, the hosts, were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast and the best scallops I've had in a long time. In a great location for sightseeing in the surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend staying here. 👌

Such a lovely cafe with the most friendly staff. Dogs are allowed and the Olympics was being shown on the TV. Our food was alright, but there wasn’t a huge choice on the menu. It looks as though the weekends have a bigger variety for food if that’s what you’re planning to come in for.

We always like to try out a new pub for a Sunday Roast and came across this little gem. Based on their menu and google ratings, we decided to book. We had their new Sunday roast sharing board (there was 3 of us) and it was amazing. The amount of meat on it is well worth the money. Perfectly cooked pork belly, beef and chicken leg. And of course being greeted by the beautiful collie who led us to the front door â˜ș We will definitely be back and will highly recommend! Great pub, very friendly and attentive staff, great food!

My wife, 4-year-old daughter and I stayed one night on a Friday before a bank holiday. The place is beautiful and nicely secluded in a tiny village. Very picturesque. The staff can't do enough for you and manage to somehow cultivate an laid-back yet luxurious feel to the place. The inn is a popular pub and restaurant too, so there is definitely some background noise in the evening but this is to be expected. Everything died down quickly after last orders at 11pm. The rooms were nicely appointed and clean throughout. The food at the restaurant was exceptional - especially the seafood options and the breakfast (my eggs were cooked exactly as I asked for them - a rare treat and worth big points in my book!). Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely return, or perhaps book one of their sister venues to fill up our stamp card.

We went today for the shared Christmas platter lunch and it was brilliant. We were 6 adults and had 3 toddlers and 3 dogs with us(!), and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. We were in the sitting room, which was really well laid out and festive. The food was great too. Thanks Amelie (hope I’ve got that right) and staff x

Rating: 4.7 (1161) Price Level:

Fantastic local cafe with super friendly and attentive staff, delicious food and a chilled yet vibrant atmosphere that you feel welcome in instantly. On a Sunday morning you may have to wait for a table as they are super busy but it’s worth the wait. My husband and I both went for the Full English, the produce was of great quality with full flavour, cook very well and served with a smile, you can’t go wrong. We will be back for the pancakes next!

Our top breakfast choice when we’re around Boscombe. There’s plenty of choice on the menu, with options to suit meat eaters, vegetarian and vegan guests - I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had at Boscanova, but it’s their American style pancakes that keeps us coming back! Never had anything elsewhere that even comes close!

Such a lovely brunch spot, staff were super friendly and very attentive. We ordered the avo toast and the price was so reasonable for the amount given, we ended up ordering an extra place of toast for the amount of avocado received. The coffees were so lovely with a variety of alternative milks and syrups available. A very cosy and clean location and would recommend a visit.

Food was lovely, staff are friendly. Only reason i am giving 4 stars is because they brought out my family’s food then I had to wait for mine & then they got my order wrong and brought out the wrong food, so I had to wait even longer, whilst my family had already eaten their meals. That’s the only negative. Food was still tasty & I wouldn’t let this put me off returning

An amazing maize, maze one of the best around. What a pity it's the final maze this year. A wonderful attraction for all the family with all the usual facilities including a superb little cafe. Play area for younger children and very reasonably priced. Staff extremely friendly and helpful adding to the experience. The maze is open all summer until early September so get in there quickly for a brilliant day out!

I love this little place that has a larger personality especially around the holidays, nice food, nice helpful staff, and full of friendlyness. It gets bigger and louder during the holidays and summer months when it opens the play area and the maize maze. Lovely for families and children. I have to say it pleases my heart to see this place set up for children's outside play, they certainly keep you on your toes, even when you are not part of that group or party, it has a little downside life everywhere when is busy hearing can be an issue even when sat face to face, so if you're expecting a wee cuppa or coffee or lunch in peace or relative quite here, you honestly won't know until you get there. It's just lovely hearing the children and youths being a play outside and not attached to their phones or computers.

Fantastic location for breakfast situated just off the A303. The food took quite a while to arrive but was well presented and tasted great.
