I was there with my 2-year-old daughter, I really liked it, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was polite. The hall and the toilet are clean. Decor with old photos of the city and people, books on the shelves and beautiful dishes. Thank you! Greetings from Ukraine!

Absolutely delicious meal as always. Very grateful to the chef who catered for my dietary needs making a gorgeous dairy free giant prawn and chorizo risotto with ciabatta. Wonderful service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Everything about this place is absolutely amazing, but especially the food. My boyfriends known about this place for ages but he’s only recently brought me here. The staff are extremely lovely, the food is always 12/10 and the atmosphere is just lovely.

4 of us visiting for lunch on Wednesday 23rd Jan 25 after a lovely 5.5 mile walk around the Piethorn valley. We sampled the well kept Titanic Ale before ordering our meals that were Steak n Kidney pie, Steak n Kidney pudding and 2 Rag puddings all with gravy, a generous portion of chips and a large bowl of mushy peas. I have to state that we cleared our plates and enjoyed the food immensely! Friendly lady behind the bar made us very welcome as did the few locals present. A proper pub with good warm feeling and pleasing decor. Very much recommend a visit and intend to return very soon!

We booked for a party of 8 on a Sunday afternoon, and everything was spot on. The standard menu is supplemented by a range of specials and (as it was Sunday) a choice of two roast dinners. Everything was reasonably priced, service was attentive and the portions were ample. Will definitely return.

Definitely favourite, food excellent, great atmosphere, quick service, generous portions, good value, landlady is a treasure, all the staff are great. Highly recommend. Had a few birthday celebrations here couldn't fault it.

Nice evening last night in the Riva up at the lake. A very warm welcome from all the staff who are great and always there for you if you need any help. And the food was excellent we had crab & crawfish ravioli , salmon pasta, mixed grill, and a real Italian calzone, garlic bread, a lovely cake for grandma and my lad and we had a sharer desert for 2 with alsorts of goodies so give it a go guys. So top job guys i tip my hat we will be back soon 👍👍

We showed up on valentines (Saturday) we hadn’t booked and we were welcomed. We had Bruschetta to start then my wife ordered sirloin steak (medium) with Skinny fries. I ordered Lamb (medium) with mashed potato and veggies. We ate all of our main dishes, then we had this platter of sweets. Which OMG was awesome. Can we thank you for the delicious meal. Delicious italian food, ravioli comparable to what we had in Italy. Mushroom soup was thick and luscious; mussels appetiser was very flavourful. The dessert tasting platter was disappointing though, cream puff tasted stale and chocolate cake lacked flavour. Great ambience by the lake.

Had a delicious meal at Riva tonight. All the staff that dealt with us were very pleasant, efficient and professional. For some unknown reason we haven't been there for a while but we'll definitely be eating at Riva again in the near future.

The food here was absolutely delicious and well presented. The early bird menu is great value for money and has a good selection of dishes on it. It was just less than £22 for 3 courses which is excellent. I had the bruschetta, sea bass and crembrule, each dish was very tasty. The decor was nice and the staff were friendly. Great experience.

What an amazing place. Went for lunch with friends and the Tapas were delicious, surroundings lovely and staff brilliant. We absolutely could not fault anything. We haven’t been before but it is one of the rare places we would go back to. Thank you for a great lunch.

Wow! What can I tell you? What a place - we were booked in (30+ of us) on a Saturday night. The place was packed! At least another table of 30 on our floor, another function downstairs plus walk ins. Service was fantastic and fairly prompt for such a large group, food was incredible, tasty and fresh, the beer was good too! The staff were excellent and despite clearly being extremely busy and at times stressed they were friendly and jovial. Absolutely would recommend! For a function or a nice meal.

Part of the wider 'Loungers' chain, you know broadly what you're getting when you come here - which is no bad thing. The food is good quality and very reasonably priced. You have the option of ordering at the bar, or at your table using the QR code. I ordered using the QR code as I was with my 1 year old and 10 year old - and the food arrived swiftly. We'd ordered a kids breakfast for my son and I went for the 'Lounge Eggs' with spinach and mushroom - all cooked perfectly. The crayons and colouring sheets are a nice touch too! Would certainly come again.

Brilliant venue in the heart of town. Easy access by bus and/or tram. Top quality food and drink at reasonable prices, with an extensive menu for both food and drink. Cocktails and cocktails on offer are numerous ! Well furnished with a variety of settees, easy chairs and traditional tables. Excellent service and friendly staff. Love the decor as well !! It is a great little restaurant the food is good although if it gets busy with lots of orders at the same time the kitchen can get overrun. However the staff let you know and we were offered free bread while we were waiting. Some of our dishes didn't come but that was ok because we ordered too much as usual and the staff happily removed those item's from the bill. Overall good experience iron out some minor things it would get 5 stars from me.

First time visiting here, every dish was amazing, fresh and so flavourful. Felt a little unwelcome upon walking in but this was more than made up for by the very friendly and attentive service by the waitress assigned to us. Atmosphere felt very authentic.

Fabulous pub! If you're travelling past Manchester, stop here. The interior is also beautifully decorated!! But the food was amazing. Love this place, always book when we are up visiting family and never fails. Always greeted by friendly help staff. It's not and extensive menu but has something for everyone. Service and food are always outstanding and great value too. Pub it's self is beautiful and old charm and this is carried through inside with the decor.
