Great service and food! From the moment you walk in the decor is really nice and as you approach the counter you are spoilt for choice with the selection of sweet treats! The staff are really friendly and welcoming. There is a good selection of sweet and savoury dishes on the menu, alongside a range of coffee and shakes to choose from. The food is freshly prepared and nicely presented, and very tasty too! Highly recommended this coffee house, a must šŸ˜‹

200 Degrees Coffee Shop

10-12 Market St, Leicester LE1 6DP, UK | Coffee Shop
P: 0116 319 2770

Rating: 4.5 (1091) Price Level:

Came in on a cold morning to do a little life admin, felt immediately warm and welcomed. It was a little busy, so I ordered via the app, and despite having 10+ tickets on the rack, Ahmad got my drink to me in less than 5 minues, at the perfect temperature with a beautiful tulip pattern on top. Drinks are made with love here. I consider 200 Degrees as a safe space that never changes, and is always a comfortable place for me to be, and I know many others that feel the same. The team do a marvellous job, and deserve recognition for it. Complete set of total champions.

A charming and delightful coffee shop that only accepts credit card payments. They serve your orders directly to your table. The staff is friendly and welcoming. However, due to a small team, orders may take a bit longer when the place gets busy. We only tried the hot chocolate, which was delicious and quite impressive. Overall, itā€™s a well-run establishment with seating available both indoors and outdoors.

Iā€™ve been visiting here for the past few years, and I can honestly say they make the best coffee ā˜•ļø in Leicester. All the staff are very friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Once they get to know you, you will be able to communicate with them easily. I remember one time when a customer was shouting on the phone; a staff member went around to each table to apologise to the other customers. They do have high standards. I've tried the šŸ„Ŗ , and while they are of excellent quality, they can be a little expensive.

Olivia's at the Outwoods

Rating: 4.5 (240) Price Level:

Really nice cafe. Tasty (& some massive!!) pastries on offer, decent coffee. It's not cheap but it is yummy and I love how dog friendly they are. A great place to visit if you're walking in the Outwoods or Beacon Hill.

Try it, itā€™s good! After a couple of visits, this one of my favourites, located in the beautiful Outwoods, this place is very popular with walkers (with or without dogs), complete with prompt service, delicious food, good cakes. The place welcomes you with the bar on entry, the coffee is fresh, the food is tasty, friendly staff are on point, keeping the place clean and moving smoothly. This is a dog friendly cafe, so you can bring them inside. The floors are hardy so muddy boots are allowed in bad weather. Free self service water is available when required. For kids, thereā€™s a small park just outside, and in summer the outdoor seating will keep you in the scenery. A lot of cafes could learn from this place.

Can't fault it at all. Coffee is strong and served at right temperature. Cakes are to die for and you probably would if you had too many of the delicious Cruffins (muffin/croissant). Go in when working on site for some reasonably priced refreshment and to meet all the lovely dogs. Friendly staff always attentive, free drinking water, plenty of seating inside and out and quite clean to say its in the woods and full of walkers, dogs and dirty boots. Great place to relax after a walk around the Outwoods. Last visit included a great breakfast of sourdough, scrambled egg and lime pickle avacadošŸ˜‹

Cafe Two Ten

210 Narborough Rd, Leicester LE3 0DL, UK | Cafe
P: 0116 233 3310

Rating: 4.7 (738) Price Level:

It is a very good place for easy comforting food, breakfast or lunch, the cafe has everything you want, and every meal tastes just right. Itā€™s a local place but unlike many other local venues it is clean and friendly, comfy and pleasant. Plenty of space to sit and have own privacy too. The only people rushing around are the staff who always work very hard and make sure your table is ready for you, the bar and waiting staff, well, they never wait around, they work! Donā€™t feel discouraged if you wait in the queue, they can see you and once you order, youā€™ll get food in no time and itā€™s worth the money, Ā£12-15 and you get a full plate with a coffee. I really donā€™t have anything negative to say, itā€™s not a 5 star restaurant so donā€™t go in with such extreme expectations, but if you want lunch, you wonā€™t be disappointed.

After ordering 3 meals we were only waiting 10 minutes before the freshly cooked food came out. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was beautiful. My 19 year old son and wife had the ciabattas and even my son couldn't finish it due to being too full. The portion sizes are fantastic.

Being the go-to cafe on the busiest road in the city for two decades takes some doing. 210 now also expanded to include a cabin in the back garden, which has extra seating. A warm welcome is the norm here, from staff that work hard to keep the many people needing feeding. This place is always very busy which is a good sign and service is always quick. Food-wise, this is geared towards quick feeding whatever the time of day. I had the veggie breakfast which was pretty good. All items cooked well. It catering beans and non-branded sauce - I kind would have liked to see a little more quality there.

We were lucky to have such beautiful weather as we moseyed around Leicester. We sat outside where thereā€™s a cute herb garden and a marquee. The French toast was delicious - my partner prefers savoury for breakfast and went for the scrambled eggs and salmon which he was very pleased with. šŸ„°

Everything exceeded our expectations. Creatively and assiduously thought out dishes, executed to a flavourful and punchy delivery. The kimchi, tuna and Red Leicester / mozzarella sourdough toastie was flavour combination my tastebuds were delighted to experience! The salad maple and mustard dressing was delicious too. All ingredients are fresh, grown on site or sourced locally from the market and local suppliers like butchers and bakers, and their quality is reflected in their superb taste. I canā€™t recommend this place enough; itā€™s clear that thereā€™s a passion for and curiosity about food as there is mastery for culinary execution . Very generous portion sizes. Excellent service.

Rating: 4.6 (1158) Price Level:

I had an amazing dessert experience here! The presentation was absolutely stunning, with intricate designs and vibrant colors. The dish with the pistachio drizzle and fresh strawberries was both visually appealing and delicious, with the perfect balance of sweetness and freshness. The other plate, with the swirled chocolate and pistachio topping, was a rich and indulgent treat that melted in my mouth. The soft-serve ice cream on the side was creamy and paired perfectly with both desserts. A must-visit spot for dessert lovers! Highly recommend.

The food was ok. We had brunch menu. I wasnā€™t blown away by the steak breakfast or the one pot skillet. The Indian tea was good. Overall the food was just standard. The biggest thing that impressed me was the service from Seeta and Ashwariya. Really friendly and great service. Genuinely couldnā€™t have been more helpful. Also parking is a headache but itā€™s london road so itā€™s expected. The cafe is very nice in terms of decor. Very pink and floral.

The food was good. I mean, amazing. I had an Asian breakfast alongside a hot chocolate. Meanwhile, my partner had the steak and classic English breakfast with some kinder bueno milkshake, which, when I had a sip of I loved it, so good. It was a nice, cute, and aesthetic experience. Would definitely recommend it since they do many yummy desserts as well. I'm definitely going to go back for that chicken curry with paratha.

St Martin's Coffee Shop

Cank St, Leicester LE1 5DG, UK | Cafe
P: 0116 243 8716

Rating: 4.7 (842) Price Level:

An integral pillar of Leicesterā€™s food scene. Unrivalled value, portions, flavour, atmosphere and people, this place has stood the test of time and gives the St Martins area its buzz. Clearly a thought out restaurant it has an ethos and relaxed nature and the experience is nailed every time, Iā€™m content, sated and canā€™t wait to come back again. Coffee is superb as well, pork belly bites in particular are worth getting. We often do not book as there is a lot of space but Saturdays for 4 or more could be busier. For breakfast brunch lunch or dinner, this is the place.

Another great visit to this fantastic independent coffee - always great food, service, and always such a lovely vibe to hang out and grab coffee, brunch or lunch (turns into a Crafty Burger in the evening). Great for a day date, group hangout or evening working / business lunch. Try their specials - these change regularly so do go back! Outdoor seating is available, which is lovely in the sunshine. Have supported this business for years now and it never fails to impress

P: 07555 490648

Rating: 4.6 (109) Price Level:

Adorable small spot on Queens Road. We initially stopped in there as it looked quite cosy and it was pouring with rain outside. Not only was the pumpkin spiced latte amazing, but the staff members were really kind. For those who are voracious readers like me, they also had a small shelf stocked with books that customers are free to pick up and peruse. The menu looked delicious, so even though we didn't try any of the cuisine, we will definitely be returning for brunch at some point. I believe the menu is also all vegetarian/vegan.

Farouk runs an amazing business with great staff. We were greeted by himself and seated for a group of 7 hungry gym goes who just trained for an hour previously. Staff were friendly and very welcoming as well as owner Farouk looking after our service personally and catering for both my brother and a friends birthday. The food was sensational! Great selection on the menu which is clear and precise with very tasty options for vegetarian and non vegetarian diners. Iā€™m glad we went early as the restaurant was quick to fill which speaks volumes about my overall review. A place to be visited by anybody in Leicester town. 10/10

Nice place to hang out with friends. We ordered the Short Rib Waffle and it was tasty. The rib was tender and juicy fall off the bone. And garlic mushroom went well with the rib and waffle. Sweet and savoury in the same bite. The potion size was huge so it is good value for money. I ordered the Iced Dragon Fruit Matcha, very pretty to look at and it tasted great too. I visited &kith today with my Son and I was really impressed with the food and service I received. I heard about this place from my Nephew so I came all the way from bham to see whether it was good as he made it sound and he was not wrong - The food was 10/10 and so was the service ! Special mention to Farooq who was extremely helpful and went above and beyond with the excellent customer service he gave which made the visit worth my while . My Son has severe Allergy to all Nuts (Has Anaphalaxia) and is intolerant to Dairy so Farooq kindly gave us a bespoke service where he was very attentive and listened to my request very carefully and in the end was able to deliver a delicious brunch sweet and savoury accommodating to my sonā€™s dietary requirement . He delivered food customised to my sonā€™s dietary requirements which I am really grateful for. I am appreciative of Farooqs kind gesture especially because we have previously experienced bad experience visiting other food places in the UK with his allergens - often restauranteurs are hesitant to accommodate to my sons needs such as places like Karak chai in Birmingham who refused to serve my Son because he had Nut allergy as they are afraid that Allergy would occur so did not want to take any risks! However At &Kith Farooq embraced the challenges despite the situation and came up with delicious food for every single one of us ! Honestly I would recommend over and over again! Thank You &kith will definitely be visiting again and I have already recommended to my family and friends !
