We had lunch at Ashby Lodge on a Friday. It was pretty busy which is always a good sign. We both had a carvery which was lovely, the meat was tender and tasty and a good selection of vegetables all well cooked. All staff were friendly and helpful and would gladly go again .
Lovely food very hot.. had carvery and lots of the meats even with small meal.... staff very attentive... definitely be back again as this first time at this Greene King... thanks
Went in for a Carvery on a Tuesday Afternoon. There were plenty of tables available during our visit so we got seated with ease. The carvery itself was good with great taste and options available. My only draw back to this is how thin the meat was being carved very thin slices. As for staffing, there appeared to be no one serving behind the bar despite 4 people waiting to be served. Staff need to be more vigilant when customers are clearly waiting. I will not rush to come back but the food was okay.
