Love this place! It's somewhere I'm happy to go into on my own. Tasty bacon rolls, toasted sandwiches, cakes (the best brownies) Lovely hot chocolate on a chilly day. It's welcoming. They also cater for functions. We had my daughters 50th birthday party here, we all had a good time, including the owners/staff. Thoroughly recommend!
Rating: 4 / 5
A nice chill place for meet-ups and coffee. Unfortunately, there were no vegan or dairy-free options for savoury dishes (and for sweet-only a slice of fruit loaf which they said was milk-free), so I had a bag of crisps with my friends while they had nice toasties and cake for lunch. Would go again for coffee though.

We visited The Old Fire Station Café in Tonbridge on a Saturday morning and had a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and our dog was made to feel just as at home as we were, with free dog treats on offer! The coffee was excellent, and the breakfast was equally impressive – fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly spot with great food and coffee, this café is a gem. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others!

Rocco's Pizza
135 High St, Tonbridge TN9 1DH, UK | Fast Food Restaurant P: 01732 368194
Rating: 4.5 (103) Price Level:
Just moved to Tonbridge and have tried a few of the pizza places, but Roccos is by far the best. Really good crusts, not all doughy. Nice toppings and plenty of them. We had a pepperoni and a tropicana, they were both great. I'll try the pasta next time.
Rating: 5 / 5
A very nice lady made me a very nice pizza :) garlic butter was good af too 👍
Rating: 5 / 5
Honestly amazing pizzas cooked perfectly! And the dough balls were so good! Will for sure be ordering from here again in the future with my favourite pepperoni with added pineapple (don't judge 😂). One small thing, I noticed the topping option for pineapple on the just eat app has a small spelling error where it's labelled as "pieapple" I just wanted to point it out so it could be corrected! Overall pizza 10/10!

I never normally write a review, but tonight I walked along Tonbridge High Street looking for something to eat and stumbled across this absolutely fabulous pizza joint. I ordered the vegetarian pizza minus the olives, It was delicous, not many pizza places still use proper mozzarella cheese, I've ate two slices had just had to review! 10 out of 10. Fantastic

The Market House

Rating: 4.6 (32) Price Level:
Highly recommend! The coffee is good, the staff are lovely, the food is very good, and the atmosphere is great whether you're looking to get some work done in a spot with good wifi and good coffee, or if you're going for lunch or dinner with friends and family We also recently had the afternoon tea as a special treat and it was delicious - the sandwiches were fresh, the sweet treats were very moreish (especially the scones) and the staff as always were very attentive and helpful. Thank you!

My daughter and I had afternoon tea at the Market House and it was absolutely delicious, service faultless and super attentive and the cakes, sandwiches and scones to die for. Nothing was too much for our waiter and he carefully boxed our leftovers to take home. Outstanding afternoon tea, highly recommend x

We had a fabulous evening at the Market House. A really exciting dinner menu. The food was incredible and beautifully presented. The front of house team are so welcoming - altogether a top knotch experience. We’ll be back. :)

Great venue for a party! Really love the way this place has been done up - congrats to the team behind it. The space is perfect with an area for a DJ and dance floor, space enough for people who want to chat to do so away from the music, drinks were well priced and the staff were great and so convenient being in the middle of town. I would recommend to anyone looking for a venue to host a party. Should also say I had popped in for a coffee the week before the party and their cakes are delicious as well :-)

A fantastic edition to the high street. A few little teething problems when it opened but it’s found its feet and I love going there. Perfect place for cocktails at night and taking your kids for a hot chocolate in the day. The little children’s play area is a thoughtful and very welcome detail.

I love this cafe! Perfect place to go if you have little ones with a toy corner packed full of books games, puzzles and drawing. Every cake I have ever purchased here has been absolutely delicious. Coffee is great. And today took my little one for lunch, lovely little jacket potato with cheese and beans. And all very reasonably priced. Not to forget the very friendly staff.

A lovely, friendly and relaxed place to get a hot drink, snack or delicious cake when you visit Longmead. Plenty of space and some seats have a lovely view of the park. Everyone made welcome, including small children and dogs. A bonus are the lovely hand-crafted items for sale, including hand painted pottery and woodwork. Great place to pick up a little gift.

Havet Restaurant Tonbridge

Rating: 4.6 (1317) Price Level:
Food was too good. Though a bit noisy place. Good portion size. Spicy rice is really tasty, lamb doner iskender is must try.. it’s huge portion wise.
Rating: 5 / 5
Food is always of a high quality and is the best Turkish food I have found in the UK! All the staff are friendly and attentive. Also, they do an NHS discount too which is a massive bonus! We eat here often, their lunch and dinner menus are brilliant. I have also done their bottomless, which was very generous with the booze!
Rating: 5 / 5
Really enjoyed this place. It was a little quieter than last time I visited which suited because we could have a conversation. Mixed views on the food, I really enjoyed mine, others thought it was just OK. I think menu is unnecessarily confusing. I'm sure i'll go again,
Rating: 5 / 5
Packed night but still A+ service throughout the night. Food was amazing but couldn't eat it all. Staff boxed and bagged up for me to take home and enjoy later.
Rating: 5 / 5
The best Turkey 🇹🇷 restaurant in the area. Actually I could rate it as the best restaurant in Tonbridge. Service - amazing, super friendly and very keen to help. Food - be aware the portions are very big. We could take home what it was left (probably about 1/2 of the food). Atmosphere - really pleasant.

Ridings Café
2 Riding Ln, Hildenborough, Tonbridge TN11 9HX, UK | Cafe P: 01732 926331
Rating: 4.7 (121) Price Level:
Seems to be the only cafe in Hildenborough. I love the vibe of a local place in its lovely light olive green decor. Staff is helpful and at ease, and I felt relaxed enjoying my lunch. Food and drink are good overall, and prices lower than Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, which is a plus and I come here quite often even I am not a local resident.
Rating: 5 / 5
Friendly welcoming staff, nice hot drinks and tasty pastries. And the little ice cream machine is a great hit with kids
Rating: 5 / 5
I've been wanting to visit here for some time, but hadn't got around to it, I'm glad I did and will not leave it long before revising, it is a lovely cafe. The space outside to take our little dog was excellent. Service was certainly with a smile, but the food hits the spot. Toasted falafel and humus wrap was lovely but the Super Strawberry milkshake a glorious indulgent treat. Not just a treat for us but we also noted a group of workmen tucking into some breakfast baps and the bacon and egg varieties did look delicious. It is great to have a place like this in Hildenborough, clearly popular and deserved so.
Rating: 5 / 5
This coffee shop is a gem, offering fantastic iced coffee that's perfect for a hot day. Their lunch menu is delightful as well, making it an ideal spot for a quick bite or a leisurely coffee break. Highly recommended as a meeting point, whether you're catching up with friends or a grab and go coffee

HIGHLY recommend checking out this cafe! The staff are all so wonderful and were very accommodating to our party of 7 on a busy morning. The food and coffee are so delicious - a lovely English Breakfast to kick start our UK trip. Plus the atmosphere is beautiful, both inside and out

The Hungry Cow Tonbridge
11 Quarry Hill Rd, Tonbridge TN9 2RH, UK | Fast Food Restaurant P: 01732 798259
Rating: 4.6 (59) Price Level:
Best burger joint to come to Tonbridge. Incredibly good food and even better value when compared to the competition in the area. We opted for a classic double smash, a buttermilk chicken burger and some nuggets for the little one. Great all round and really nice to see that the bubbletea is still available to accompany.
Rating: 5 / 5
Best Burger place within miles. I tried their signature Hungry Cow burger, and my family tried the Buttermilk Chicken burger and wraps. I have to say it was very very good, burger was tasty and 4 patties so a big size and cheap as well. The chips were hot, crispy and moreish. Portions are an excellent size and burgers are big, the chips are McDonald’s style chips but better, and we struggled to finish the chips, and the loaded fries was excellent, it was also very good value for money. We’ve also ordered on Just Eat as well where they have combo boxes. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. Nice to have something new and exciting in Tonbridge. If you haven’t tried yet definitely give it a go you will be impressed and back for more. Ps their special house sauce is soo good, has a kick but very tasty.
Rating: 5 / 5
Tried the Double Smash burger my friends have been telling me about. It was so good and their prices are very good. Their Fries are like McDonalds but better and the Buttermilk Chicken Tower was like the zinger burger. Definitely our go to spot now.

I recently visited The Hungry Cow for dinner for my family and I. The place had a very welcoming atmosphere and was very clean. The open kitchen was nice and I always feel reassured when I can see my food being prepared. The menu offers a lovely variety of options to pick from with vegetarian options. The burgers were juicy, well flavoured and you could taste the ingredients were fresh. For the price - the food is exceptional. The quality stood out to me and I’ll definitely be ordering again. I recommend the loaded smash!

Mary's Cafe
9 York Parade, Tonbridge TN10 3NP, UK | Cafe P: 07852 498586
Rating: 4.6 (93) Price Level:
What a lovely little cafe. Owner and staff are all very welcoming. The food i ordered was spot on, full english breakfast, bit pricey and a tea or coffee would be nice in the price but if you want a treat it's lovely. They use sausages made at the local butchers on the same parade, which were good. The service is quick and polite. It's all very, very clean still, and the toilet is immaculate. All in all, it's a very lovely little cafe and I would highly recommend 😊
Rating: 5 / 5
This is the best cafe in South east England if not the whole of the world. The food is excellent the choice is vast, the price is good it's real good value for money. The service is friendly you always get a smile 😃
Rating: 5 / 5
Been here twice now! Food is always top notch and fresh. Meat is straight out of the butchers next door and everything is cook to order. I had Mary's Almighty breakfast on my first visit and struggled to finish it (so big) and on my second visit I had Eggs Royale. The hollandaise sauce was made from scratch in house. Delicious!
Rating: 5 / 5
I had an absolutely delicious toasted bacon and cheese sandwich which was full as opposed to the usual 'lick and promise' one gets in many places. The strawberry milkshake was the best I've had in years. The prices were right on too. They also had lovely looking cakes on display but I was too full for that. I'm going to invite friends to meet me there for coffee and cake - it's a lovely spot, with dedicated owners and friendly staff. It was yummy that I forgot to take photos - I will next time!

The Bakehouse at 124
124 High St, Tonbridge TN9 1AS, UK | Bakery P: 01732 360382
Rating: 4.5 (233) Price Level:
Authentic and cosy, The Bakehouse is a lovely place to have a croissant with coffee or a tasty sourdough bread with poached eggs. Probably the most delicious sourdough I have ever had. Their espresso is impressively good. A few charging points for the laptop professionals are available on the 1st floor. If you visit Tonbridge, I would definitely recommend breakfast at The Bakehouse at 124.
Rating: 4 / 5
Decent Coffee here and nice inside but unfortunately Not Dog Friendly so you have to sit on the street.....real shame
Rating: 5 / 5
I have to give the Bakehouse 5 stars for their bread alone: their wholemeal and their light rye are (very consistently) the best sourdough I've had: excellent flavour, fluffy texture and a crispy, chewy crust. What is disappointing is that I can't eat more of their bread: they're only open until 2:30pm, 4 days a week (and not on Sunday) and they sell out of bread most days.
