What a little gem. Booked last minute for my husbands birthday. First time here and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Food was cooked to perfection with loads of flavour. Kids enjoyed all meals, especially the Nan bread and korma curry. Was expensive but definitely worth the money. Would definitely come back again with friends and family!

Brilliant Indian been many times! Only slight let down is that even when you book, sometimes we still have been sat in the waiting area for 10+ minutes for our table! But overall brilliant!

Top quality Indian restaurant. Superb food. No overuse of food colouring in the kebabs, nice spicing and superb presentation. Lovely restaurant and clean toilets. Better still was the peerless service from Saif and his team. This restaurant was recommended by a work colleague and I’m pleased to report it didn’t disappoint. Highly recommended!

I always say that a lot of Indian restaurants in ano around the local Medway and surrounding areas or all fairly within the same level and can't at times tell between them. This however really surpasses and makes for what is a brilliant meal out. The place, people, food and all in all service is just great. I'll be back for more of the great flavour for sure

Access is a bit tight too the park at rear. Very accommodating. Friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere, chilled music. Food was very good & served on hot plates. We’ll be back of course

Great place to pop in for a burger, so many to choose from!! Cooked perfectly with excellent choices in companion flavours, sides, and beers. A little compact, so it can get busy pretty quickly, but that's definitely a reflection on the selection of food and drinks! Will definitely be returning!

Lots of interesting beers, really good burgers. The loaded fries were fantastic. Atmosphere is a bit sparse, and it was a bit cold. Sadly no hot drinks are available. Very dog friendly - when we asked if it was okay for our dog, they brought over a bowl of water and a biscuit!

5 of us went here for lunch on Thursday and got seated no problem. I had the special which was PB+J and it's the sort of meal where you can feel your arteries clogging up. It was amazing! Have tried The Dead Pigeon in Rochester too but preferred this one for the size and situation.

This is my new favourite cafe!! It's got so much better over time. I must Go there atleast once a week or I start missing it!!! Have tried a lot of other cafes but this is the best one so far. Even my friend comes from Barkingside to eat here with me!!! Amazing paninis! And smoothies too! Lovely staff, so friendly and welcoming, all smiles!! Edited to add: Oct 2024 and still the best one for a jacket potato!!

Best English breakfast ever. Generous portions, low prices, and very tasty food. They have different set menus, which can be costumised based on your taste. Breakfast comes with free tea/coffee options, and as a bonus, coffee is really good. Service staff are very friendly and inviting and orders arrive in no time.

5 stars 👍 - Staff very friendly - Prices excellent - spotless tables - Food high quality I had the beef roast dinner and honestly it was blooming marvellous... Decent slow cooked beef no fat or tough bits I'd say its near standard to a gourmet pub roast, just a third of the price. Highly recommended you try here if I lived closer this would definitely be my local.

We had lunch at Christine House. The venue had a warm with friendly atmosphere. There was a live band which provided great entertainment. The food was excellent and portions generous. It was a great place to relax, eat and meet up with friends.

Christine house has the best venue and service ! I use the lounge for my birthday and all my guest loved it, her customer obsession is top notch, the food was flavourful and delicious . Her cocktails and palm wine presentation were mind blowing! I would recommend her venue a gazillion times! Thanks for making my birthday special!

This cafe is easily a 5 as the food is hot, freshly prepared and well presented. I took a star off for the following, but this is only my personal choices and doesn't mean there is anything wrong. I would have liked a better quality sausage, even if it meant only getting one instead of two. The bacon was perfect, well cooked and nice thick slice with not loads of fat like some cafes. My coffee was lovely but again too milky for me, some like it milky, I will get milk seperate next time. Cafe was quite busy and I expected a wait but it came really quick and the staff were lovely. I recommend this cafe and I will come back. You might struggle to park a camper but the carpark is free.

Bright, Airy, Great Service, plenty of space. Food was amazing, in my 50 years I can’t think of a meal I have enjoyed more, spices were perfectly balanced, chilli heat just right, balance between meat and veg and sauce perfect for me, can’t wait to go back.

The best curry I've had in a very long time. We popped in for the 2 for 25 deal as we'd not been for years. I was honestly blown away by the quality of the food, flavours and freshness of everything. It is now my favourite curry house. I had the Chicken Dansak, and it was the best Dansak I've had at any Indian restaurant ever. It was clear that it was freshly made and had the most sublime flavours. The dish was large in size and had plenty of chicken in this. My wife had the chicken biryani and also enjoyed this immensely. Highly recommended to all, and we will definitely be visiting this restaurant more in the future.

Our first time here for many years. We had a great evening, lovely relaxed atmosphere & fantastic food! The owner had great knowledge of his dishes & even recommended certain pairings that would work best together (these were cheaper than the items we had originally selected so know the advice was genuine). Great selection of different curries & particularly liked the variety of different fish available, we will definitely be booking to go again!

Had a nice meal at Darjeeling heights. Food was consistently good throughout the meal and staff were attentive, friendly and went out of their way to be welcoming to our son. When the food arrives the owner came and checked everything was OK. We ordered lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka masala and chicken dansak, two rice, a roti, naan and bombay potatoes and two starters. We had 6 poppadoms and 3 beers and the bill was £92. This seems higher than usual compares to other local indians. Would I go again? Yes! I think we would do Sundag lunchtimes for the buffet.

My husband booked this place for our wedding anniversary as every time we drive past I say we must try it. Wow did not disappoint, from the moment we arrived staff really helpful and friendly, menu has a great selection for every taste, all of our food was exquisite! Had breakfast here, which was pretty average. Bacon that I got served hasn't seen much heat and was really unappetizing. Cafetiere coffee was under brewed or they just didn't add enough of it. On the upside, the location is beautiful and service was good. Don't think we'll be coming back for breakfast, but might try their lunch at some point.

Wedding band here, we have played in the marquee and this Sunday just passed we were back in the Apple Barn, both are amazing in their own ways, Apple Barn is especially great for twilight weddings! Really lovely staff who can't do enough to help you, amazing food and both have excellent spaces to entertain guests with space for a live band and of course dancing!

Wow wow wow. I can’t put into words how much you guys absolutely took my breath away. Everything was so perfect, and I genuinely could not have asked for more from you all! Belle, beautiful Belle. Nothing was ever too much. No task too big or too small. From calming my nerves to fluffing my train, Belle was there with her shining smile, reassuring me every second of the way. Belle you were nothing short of an angel on my wedding day, what a blessing you are! And Tee, bless her heart! Running back to the dressing room to get my perfume when I was seconds from walking down the aisle as I had completely forgotten to spray it! You absolute angels!!! Nothing I can do will be thanks enough for you guys, from Grace being our port of call when planning, to Kirstie and Jo answering my never-ending questions, to Belle and Tee on the day, walking me into my married life with such elegance! The catering team watching me walk down the aisle and singing to my song (I loved it) and of course providing the most beautiful wedding breakfast that got so many compliments. You all made me feel like I was in some sort of fairytale! If you’re not already the proudest people on earth, you absolutely should be because I cannot fault you at all! I recently had a twilight wedding in the Apple Barn at The barnyard, it was such a beautiful venue that perfectly fit our “rustic, whimsical, cozy” vibes for our special day, we used autumnal decor and everything tied in so perfectly, the staff were welcoming and helped us make our special day come to life! Our guests still haven’t stopped talking about how beautiful the venue was and we honestly couldn’t have picked a better place! The food was also to die for!
