Really cute coffee shop just a stones throw from the sea, perfect to grab and go for a seafront walk. The coffees were nice and the lady who served us was so lovely too! I’d definitely recommend and would try food next time too.

We stopped off here to shelter from the rain whilst on a bike ride and decided to get an early lunch. Great idea and great luck. The food was excellent (I had the grilled cheese and marmite on sourdough) and the coffee perfect. My friend is a VERY fussy flat white fan and he had two! Can’t fault this place - lovely atmosphere, quirky decoration and the woman who served us was super friendly.

This is hands down the best coffee shop in Whitstable. Love their coffee, the sandwiches are amazing and be sure to save some space for cake. I had the gluten free orange and almond cake and it was out of this world. They also sell a variety of products like jams, wines, etc. I was particularly impressed with the Portuguese Ucal chocolate milk that reminded me of my childhood!

Lovely little cafe on the busy high street. Seating is limited, but it gives a really cosy vibe. The menu is simple but effective, especially enjoyed the kimchi cheese toasty, was delish!

The whole service was amazing. Gareth was great with arranging a day and time that was suitable for me. They got the work done quicker than planned. They were so awesome at working around my disability too. They were also really great at working with my cat following them around and at working in my bunny's bedroom. Absolutely adore this place! Me and my partner were so happy we found this during our trip and had become a firm favourite! Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area! Food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is lovely with the roaring fire on a cold November morning. The best eggs we’ve had in the UK, and my other half says the French toast with the honeycomb butter is to die for!

My friend and I came to this place for a quick lunch. We both ordered a bacon and chicken toast and it tastes really good - probably some of the best toasts I’ve ever had in the UK. The breads are perfectly toasted and delicious - definitely a hidden gem. The price is quite reasonable too.

Nice little on the way in Canterbury from Canterbury West station. Very friendly staff and lovely cafe. We had breakfast/brunch and ordered the Rancher and the House Smoked Salmon and Avo with two tea. Very good and different from your normal breakfast offerings. Worth a visit.

Incredible food, lovely staff an overall really comfortable dining experience. Highly recommend for a quick breakfast, brunch or lunch. My companions had their meals prior, but the staff were happy to offer just the sides and a drink without any fuss. Perfectly situated along the way to Canterbury cathedral and surrounding areas.

I had the best breakfast here since the beginning of my stay in the UK. I rate the whole experience very good. The service was nice and helpful. We didn't wait long after placing the order. The dishes were wonderful - fresh, tasty, pleasing to the eye and palate. Compliments to the chef. Delicious coffee. I will definitely come back here, even though the queue in front of the entrance is not getting shorter 😄 It's really worth it!

Such a cosy atmosphere in a gorgeous historic building. Not only a great space to play boardgames but we've taken part in a couple of evening events of Blood on the Clocktower which is tons of fun and a good way to meet other gamers. Definitely will be back and recommend the Dungeons & Dragons themed speciality teas!

I've been waiting so long for a board games cafe in Canterbury and The Long Rest did not disappoint! The food was great, they have a huge selection of board games and the staff were super friendly. Unlike most board game cafes games are only included if the staff have experience with them so they can actually recommend something for you based on group size, experience and timings. I can't wait to go back!
