Went there for coffee with my friend. The place was bigger than expected I felt like me at home. Only not one explained how to order . The food looks amazing my coffee was good. The service at the counter was not that friendly. They have a parking and tables to seat outdoors. Prices are ok

Small little coffee shop with great service and food. The hot chocolate is a must try.Only caveat is that they close early. Wish they were open a little longer.

Puddings Coffee Shop
7 Week St, Maidstone ME14 1QW, UK | Coffee Shop P: 01622 681615
Rating: 4.6 (228) Price Level:
Had a cooling iced latte followed by a tasty breakfast. The latter was freshly cooked and just the right size. Service was "with a smile" and prompt. Quiet music in the background. Highly recommend Puddings. They make delicious cakes as well.

Great cafe with very friendly and helpful staff. Came here for a coffee on a Saturday morning and because it was so cosy and staff were lovely we decided to stay for lunch. Coffees and teas are good and the lunchtime sandwiches are good. Would have preferred a bit more salad in my sandwich and crisps rather than tortillas with sandwiches would be better but bread was fresh and fillings plentiful. I had Brie and cranberry. We shared a brownie and this was fresh and tasty too (although didn’t realise they came warmed up so would have been better if staff had checked we wanted it warmed up). Despite a few criticisms on the food I’ve still given it 5 stars as the (female) staff were so friendly and helpful and happily working - a joy to see. Lovely seating upstairs as well as the tables downstairs.

Quality Cake heaven! Not just good value breakfasts but under the guidance of Manager Sarah, Chef Brandon bakes the very best cakes.. period. I had a Black Forest Gateaux and it was absolutely delicious..
Rating: 4 / 5
Set 3 for £12.50, came with toast. Added black pudding for £1 extra ( two very generous slices I may add). Filter coffee was good. Hash browns could do with being alot crispier as were bit soggy. Bacon was very nice thick cut. All in all very good food. Told the breakfast wrap was very nice. No price on the board. Clean premises with friendly staff. Keep up the good work ✌️❤️

FiFi's Pizzeria
108-110 Week St, Maidstone ME14 1RH, UK | Restaurant P: 01622 669800
Rating: 4.6 (291) Price Level:
What a phenomenal meal and experience. Every bite from the bruschetta to pasta dishes and bread with garlic oil and finishing off with the most delicious rum bata with coconut gelato was delectable. The restaurant itself it so smart and fun with a fantastic dining soundtrack that gets you tapping your toes and humming along. Service was great and definitely we will be coming back and bringing the whole family.

Had a chance to visit couple of times this month, great and quick service, attentive staff, best pizza I had for a long time, good ingredients and reasonably priced. Will definitely come back
Rating: 5 / 5
What a place!!! This has to be the best and most reasonable pizza place in Maidstone!! The food was absolutely perfect! Went for a basic Margherita but it was BRILLIANT! The cocktails were also lovely and I could not believe the price!! £44 for 2 pizza's, 2 drinks and some garlic bread!!! Cannot beat that! The restaurant was really nice! Had a great vibe with some nice music and the staff were welcoming and great! Would totally recommend!!
Rating: 5 / 5
Went on a Saturday evening without reservation and the staff were very friendly to accommodate us immediately. A nice touch that I very much appreciated was the fact they got our over before the table next to us where there were like 6-7 people instead of just the two of us... which means we didn't have to wait ages. Very good pizza. Personal recommendation would be the Ham & Buffala. Soft drinks decently priced. From the desserts, the Pistachio Tiramisu was also very good. Would definitely visit again when in the area. 👏🏻

Always an amazing experience at FiFi's. The staff are very tentative and make us feel like VIPs every time we walk in. The food is top notch and we especially love the truffle tortellini pasta and the Nduja pizza. A huge thank you to the staff for singing Happy Birthday to our daughter and making her day feel so special. The surprise dessert was a great touch. A special shout out to Lee our host and the Manager as always. Keep up the good work!

Vesuvius Restaurant
26 Lower Stone St, Maidstone ME15 6LX, UK | Italian Restaurant P: 01622 664969
Rating: 4.7 (532) Price Level:
🍽️ Just dropped by Vesuvius Restaurant and here's the lowdown: - 🇮🇹 Ambiance: Stepping into Vesuvius is like a time travel to old-school Italy. Everything has a really vintage touch. It’s not exactly my cup of tea as I lean towards more modern settings, but it's got character! - 🤔 Service: Had a bit of an odd experience. The waitress seemed a tad unsure, not even asking for our booking name. Made me wonder why we booked in the first place. - 🍞 Food: The garlic breadsticks came in a packet, which was unexpected. I reckon serving them out of the packet might add a touch of freshness! The menu choices and the dishes themselves were a bit basic for my taste. However, the roast potatoes were a hit - not sure how Italian they are, but delicious nonetheless! Tried a bit of the carbonara and found it a bit bland. - 🍴 Overall Vibe: The place was buzzing for a Friday night, which was nice to see. Rating: 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It didn't quite hit the spot for me, and while I might not head back on my own initiative, I'm open to giving it another go if someone else is keen.
Rating: 4 / 5
Italian restaurant in Maidstone,Kent. The food is good, authentic Italian fare. They were around three quarters full and throughout my stay I only heard positive comments about the food. The waiting staff are not really very attentive. No one checked back to see if the food was ok nor did anyone ask if I wanted any more drinks. In the end I had to ask. That said they were all polite. Food came to the table within 15 minutes and was hot and tasty. Food prices are moderate, no at pizzas are around £15 for example but are big enough to share. The restaurant has toilets and the one I used was clean. Disabled access is ok , some areas of the restaurant would be a little too tight to accommodate a wheelchair but there are a few tables that would be ok. There is no parking outside but a paid, council run car park is no more than a five minute walk away
Rating: 5 / 5
Another wonderful meal. Great menu with so much choice. All freshly cooked, exceptional flavours and well presented.
Rating: 5 / 5
Vesuvius is a brilliant hidden gem with friendly and accommodating staff, a great menu and incredible service. My partner and I stopped by after seeing the restaurant on Google maps, and can confidently say we'll be back in again the next time we're in Maidstone. It's only a few minutes walk from the high street, so it's absolutely worth popping in for lunch or dinner.

Servers were very welcoming and the menu had plenty of options. The quality of the food was incredible and was obviously made fresh - the pizza I had in particular was amazing. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Would definitely come back

North Pole
434 Red Hill, Wateringbury, Maidstone ME18 5BJ, UK | Pub P: 01622 812721
Rating: 4.6 (677) Price Level:
We visited here on Saturday for lunch, we have a nut allergy and what struck us first was how we was greeted and asked if we have any allergies or dietary requirements which was very reassuring. The whole team went above and beyond to cater for us and the food was all made from scratch and was phenomenal. We decided to return for the Sunday roast the following day and once again we had a matched experience. This is the best pub we have been to and won’t be going anywhere else in a rush!
Rating: 5 / 5
Had the 3 course Christmas dinner today with my wife and some friends. We’ve been before and had the pies but today had the Christmas menu. Food on both occasions was amazing and great value. Generous portions ( the Christmas main meal was a self serve carvery) great atmosphere and attentive staff.
Rating: 5 / 5
Always a warm welcome and good food and service. Menu choices are always good. Relaxing atmosphere with a nice fire.
Rating: 4 / 5
Stopped by for a Sunday lunch on my way home. The only space available was in the garden so worth booking ahead! Turns out Sundays are carvery days... not normally my thing but I really enjoyed mine. Tried two meats and both were excellent. The trimmings etc were all very good with special mention for the cauliflower cheese! A very good lunch!
Rating: 5 / 5
Fantastic Sunday carvery. Extremely well organised with thoughtful staff. We took our two year old and the staff offered to move us to a table with more room when available, and even washed up his plate. Highly recommend.

Leah's Bistro
18 High St, Maidstone ME14 1HT, UK | Cafe P: 01622 600123
Rating: 4.5 (552) Price Level:
Update 2024 December Had a roast lunch which was promptly ordered and served by polite very hard working staff. It was plentiful in size but could have been heated a little more evenly, this was £12 there was an OAP option for £10 which was smaller apparently. I though the cheese cake a bit expensive for its size £3.95. Update 2023 Staff were friendly and patient. We had a roast lunch each which was served very hot, portion size were just adequate. They were amazingly quick at delivering our meal after order.
Rating: 5 / 5
We really enjoyed our experience today at Leah’s bistro. There’s a lot of choice on the menu, something for everyone, and everything is freshly made and cooked. We really enjoyed the food, it was delicious! Prices are really reasonable too - 2 adults, 2 kids - lunch (sandwich and panini, 2 x kids meals), drink and cake each, worked out at about £40. Definitely will come back. Staff are lovely as well, really friendly.
Rating: 5 / 5
Had a fantastic experience here. The food was great and of good quality. Portions were more than generous and especially for a kids roast. The atmosphere was very unexpected with someone playing the piano by the entrance. People working there were all very fun and bubbly to be around and engaged with the kids too.
Rating: 5 / 5
A few years ago (different owners I believe), this place was not much to shout about. But now it's a regular breakfast venue for me and business colleagues. The service is always excellent, swift and welcoming. The coffee is very good and the food... well, we wouldn't go back if it wasn't great every time! Pictured is my beans on toast, which isn't actually on the menu but is never any trouble. My friend has the vege breakfast which he assures my is top notch.
Rating: 5 / 5
We have become regulars here over the past few weeks - the staff are friendly, kind and helpful, there is always a positive buzz whatever time of day you're here and the food is delicious. For fellow vegans and people who are gluten free, there are gf and vegan options available. Leah's has become our favourite place to visit at the weekend - If you haven't been to Leah's before, treat yourself!

The Redstart
70 North St, Maidstone ME16 9HF, UK | Bar P: 01622 727001
Rating: 4.5 (417) Price Level:
This place is great for lunch the food is always cooked well and there is a good variety on the menu and well priced. We had the burger and the chicken sizzler with noodles. Really tasty, will be going back again. We did book as it does get busy especially at the weekends, during the summer they have a big garden that you can sit out in. Lovely place worth a visit.
Rating: 5 / 5
It’s surprising how good pub food can be. The RedStart exemplifies this. Walk inside and it looks like a standard looking sociable drinking space. Sit down, look at the specials board, you begin to realise there is something special about this place. Yes it does prepare the traditional British dishes. The RedStart goes one step further and throws in European dishes into the mix. When these dishes arrive they ooze quality. Presentation, piquant and professional. These were some of the best tasting dishes I have sampled at a pub in Kent. For 3 courses I had change from £30, unbelievable given the standard of food. European pub food at it’s best.
Rating: 5 / 5
The place is huge with indoor and outdoor tables and service. The food was amazing and the staff was so kind and friendly. There is plenty of garden area, it's really large. There's a playground so that you can take your kids and have a meal, a beer, and let them play while you enjoy the place. There's also some events there such as bingo and karaoke. The only negative point is the toilets, they're a bit neglected (old). The area where this place is located is so peaceful too. Worth the visit!
Rating: 5 / 5
Visited the Redstart as a party of 8 yesterday evening, for the first time in years. What a great gastro pub! Lively, friendly, decent value, and, not surprisingly, packed! Good choice of traditional pub food on the menu, so something for everyone. We'll be back, recommended.

7 Miles Korean & Chinese Cuisine
38 High St, Maidstone ME14 1JH, UK | Korean Restaurant P: 07407 082012
Rating: 4.7 (217) Price Level:
The food in here was amazing, it’s a small family-run restaurant but they clearly take great pride in their food. We went for a good supply of all the starters, and they were all super-tasty. Our waitress went through and explained each dish for us, was lovely and attentive. Will most DEFINITELY be coming again!
Rating: 5 / 5
Took my girlfriend here on an early date (we showed up just as they opened), we were welcomed straight away by our lovely server! We were sat down quickly and made our order. The food was absolutely perfect and the service was amazing too, our server constantly checked on us and gave us little tips on how long our food would take to be perfect which we both appreciated! The sweet chili chicken is to die for and we even had to order more! Can’t recommend this place enough and we will be going back as much as we possibly can!
Rating: 5 / 5
Super friendly and helpful staff. A tasty selection of food. I would particularly recommend the fried chicken in sweet chilli sauce; it was delicious and crunchy!
Rating: 5 / 5
We came on a Friday night expecting it to be very busy, but was not busy at all. We ordered the BBQ set B plus the seafood pancake. Food was amazing and service was great 😁 I'm so glad there's Korean food available in Maidstone. Will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area again.
Rating: 5 / 5
This restaurant is such a little hidden gem! Tucked away at the bottom of Maidstone high street you can find this small Korean BBQ. The tables have their own grill built in so you can cook your own food. The menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable. There are also Korean drinks and bubble tea available too. As a group of 4 we shared the set menu plus a couple of extra dishes. I can highly recommend the rice rolls and the dumplings as they were delicious and the first to go from the table! The lady who served us was lovely and we didn't want for anything. She was attentive at the right times and our food was served very promptly. I will definitely be back!

Cafe Riviera
55 High St, Maidstone ME14 1SY, UK | Cafe P: 01622 766185
Rating: 4.5 (323) Price Level:
Nice breakfast, I opted for a set breakfast of sausage, two rashers of bacon, chips, beans, toast and a fried egg along with a can of drink for £9.00. Some of the chips were a little overcooked/crunchy but the rest of the breakfast was nice. They operate a loyalty scheme of a free meal once you have collected 8 stamps from paid meals, they have the same offer regarding drinks too. They have customer toilets which were clean and in decent condition. If you found this review helpful please click on the heart icon, thanks.

Lovely place good for a meal with the fellas, lovely atmosphere, only have two issues. 1. Chips are slightly overcooked but still are delicious. 2. The playlist needs a little more reggae
Rating: 5 / 5
What can I say…. This cafe is amazing . Popped in while walking past and ordered 2 set breakfasts and two cans of cherry coke. Our order was taken by a attentive waitress and when the food turned up it was just what we needed , not greasy and cooked to perfection. Keep up the good work cafe Riviera . Five ⭐️

Kent Fused Electrical
Milton St, Maidstone ME16 8JT, UK | Electrician P: 07884 023324
Rating: 4.7 (12) Price Level:
I was struggling to find an electrician on Saturday morning, phoned Tom and he said he will be there in 20 min and he was. Very good quality and professionalism. Definitively recommend . Thanx
Rating: 5 / 5
Super happy with with the cctv and burglar alarm systems Kent Fused Electrical installed in house. I can check the house and who’s at the door from my phone as well. Tom gave me a great price with the quote and really went out of his way to make sure the systems he installed were what I needed for my situation.
Rating: 5 / 5
Tom always arrives promptly and carries out the work quickly and efficiently to a very high professional standard. I am comfortable using Kent Fused Electrical for all my commercial and domestic premises and would readily recommend him to others if they are looking for an excellent quality job to be completed in their property.

Kent Fused Electrical is an extremely professional business with great employees. We had a fantastic quote, they were very efficient in getting the work done and willing to go above and beyond. Would not hesitate in using them again.
