Chester came to add and convert some sockets for us and his communication and work was first class throughout. Even when he identified a fault in our circuit, he easily rectified the problem and didn’t even charge us extra! Neat, tidy, knowledgeable, and a great guy to boot - What else do you want?! I will certainly use Chester again in the future, and won’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing top quality electrical work carried out.

The restaurant was nice and clean. The food was lovely, my pizza was delicious. The only down side is they don’t serve any ale! The parking was easy , just around the corner.

I'm from Australia and visited with local friends when passing through this part of England. I believe the restaurant is relatively new but it didn't matter as the service was first right and the food and beverage offerings were really impressive. A wide range of offerings on the menu and you won't be disappointed if you come here after authentic delicious Italian food.

Highly recommend a visit here. Wonderful restaurant with a lovely ambiance. Staff are polite, professional and helpful. Food is absolutely gorgeous. Rich opulent flavours that deliver absolute joy on a plate. Fantastic place if you're on your own, having a date or meeting up with a friend or group to celebrate a special occasion. I always check out the toilets in restaurants because it says a lot about the hygiene of the place. I found them to be clean and tidy. I will be visiting again for some truly unforgettable pasta! Thanks team La Vita.

Visited here twice for food whilst on our stay and we were certainly not disappointed at all. As you can see from our photos from our evening meals they were delicious, they were presented well and they tasted fantastic. Well worth the money we paid and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It's also dog friendly and our dog loved it as well. Do not miss out when visiting Stourpaine.

Lovely traditional pub with a wide range of beer and good food. We visited on a Thursday evening and it was pretty busy. I think it is one of the only pubs in Stourpaine, but service was great and the food was lovely. I had the steak pudding and chips, which I've not had for years but it was gorgeous. My wife had ham, egg and chips, which again she said tasted delicious. The pub has a whole raft of service mens hats dotted throughout the place and has had a visit by King Charles when he was a prince. Lovely place, well worth a visit.

We went here with our dog for breakfast and were very impressed. We have an eggs royal and the veggie breakfast, both if which were generous and delicious for the price. What a fantastic evening at The Three King's last night! The food was amazing, freshly cooked to order, succulent meat, char grilled veg and a banging home made hot sauce. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming and chatted with us which made the evening all the more enjoyable. Great value for money and somewhere we will definitely return too.

Scruples Coffee House

2A Barnack Walk, Blandford Forum DT11 7AL, UK | Cafe
P: 01258 459157

Rating: 4.5 (35) Price Level:

Tried this little cafe today on the basis they don't serve burgers and chips! Yes, it is a little dated on decor, but you can easily overlook that with friendly staff, good food at decent prices and the sound of friendly chatter all around. Will definitely come back when next in Blandford.

First visit to this establishment with my sister to sample some coffee and lunch. Very quiet location. First the staff all very friendly. premises are very dated definitely in need of a refurbish. Nice decaf coffee food was simple but nice . Took a while to be served with our food but didn't bother us better to wait a little and not just zipped in a microwave. Only other big problem was no air cooling or air conditioning available. Just a couple of fans close to the staff. Weather was very hot outside. Definitely give scruples another visit. Due to the friendly staff.

Lovely fresh food and the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The only thing i would change is i wouldnt overload the counters with lots of tat especially if noone buys the stuff it doesnt look nice its looks overcrowded and its dusty. We only ever go for the food. Honestly the counters is the only downside we love the staff and food!!!

I love it here. Staff are lovely, really friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, love the fact they don’t serve fatty fried food. It’s really healthy eating at a good price. The hot drinks are amazing especially the caramel latte! Jacket potatoes are the best in town, you should do a takeaway menu! I’d be there everyday!

Rating: 4.5 (500) Price Level:

We were visiting family in Blandford during November 2024 and decided to try the Charlton Inn for an evening meal. The choice of food was extremely good they also had a number of vegan options for the wife. The service, the atmosphere, the staff and the food was excellent. We was also allowed to stop over in their carpark in our motorhome, which made the evening even better. Would highly recommend it. In fact we are hoping to return in December.

We moved to Charlton Marshall in April and have eaten at the Charlton Inn many times since. Each time the food and service have been excellent, even when they were very busy. The Sunday lunch is one of the best we've had in our tours of local eateries since we retired. We will continue enjoying our visits and the great food in 2025.

We meet with friends on Sunday for lunch, and all went for the burgers. These were as per our other visits, amazing. We did see a few roasts go out, and questioned our choice, as these looked incredible. The staff were friendly and provided some really good banter, to make it a great atmosphere. At the end, the Landlord place a huge plate of the lovely Yorkshire pubs on the bar for anyone that wanted one for free. Our friends were extremely impressed and will most certainly be going back.

Out on my bike today and needed a coffee. I was on some quiet roads andso was very happy to come across this bar, cafe, restaurant. It looks very nice inside. Today was only for a coffee but also had a homemade sausage roll which turned out to be beautiful. The guys warmed it up for me too!. I was disappointed that they didn’t have skimmed milk but as I was on a long ride it was all good. The coffee was, however, very nice, they made it extra hot for me and made it in a larger cup which was more cappuccino style. Price for the 2 was £7.25. The place was popular with people having meals out in the sun and other cyclists. Plenty of parking. I’d love to return.

Visited this pub on a cycling trip. Had a warm welcome on arrival. Menu was really good and lunch bar snacks were great. Fish finger sandwich was just delicious. Proper cod fish fingers, really delicious. Bar man filled up our water bottles with fresh cold water that was most welcomed. All in all what an amazing village pub. Well worth a trip out for the food.

I've had a positive experience at my appointment today. It was the first time seeing a hygienist at this practice. From previous visits somewhere else I was expecting quite a bit of discomfort during the procedure. However, I had no discomfort at all and I still find it hard to believe that there can be a hygienist appointment with no pain at all. Nicola was my hygienist today and she was very gentle, thorough and patient. Everybody else I've met today or on previous visits here, have always been professional, welcoming and helpful. Thank you Nicola and the team for the great dental care received so far.

What an outstanding clean and friendly practice!! This was my second visit and first treatment, I was so worried about having an extraction, a couple of fillings, and a scale and polish all in one sitting. I didn't feel any discomfort whatsoever. Everyone was so friendly, and lovely, and there was ample parking close by. Thank you so much see you again in 2 days time 😂😁

I cannot recommend Sara and the team highly enough! Since childhood, I’ve been unhappy with my overcrowded and discoloured teeth. Whenever I looked at photos, all I could focus on was my smile, especially as the crowding and twisting worsened in recent years. Thanks to Sara, that has completely changed—now my smile makes me happy! Sara has been incredibly professional throughout my Invisalign treatment, while also being warm and approachable. Her deep knowledge and attention to detail gave me complete confidence that every step of the process was carefully tailored to my needs, including consideration of other medical conditions to ensure the best possible outcomes. What I appreciated most was how Sara approached my queries. She always took the time to listen and understand first, then explain or investigate thoroughly before offering reassurance. That level of care made a huge difference to my experience. The team has also been consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made every visit feel easy and stress-free. As someone who normally dislikes having dental work done, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I never once dreaded a visit to Sara and the team. The results so far have been fantastic, and I’m thrilled with how my teeth have transformed. Thank you, Sara and the team, for making this such a positive journey!

I am new to this practise, I so far have had 2 appointments with Elena, by far the best dentist I have had. I had to have root canal, Elena made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Also completely pain free. The two dental nurses that were assisting her were also very kind and welcoming. Id like to also add my very first visit walking into the practise there were 3 lovely smiley girls on reception. overall a very lovely professional friendly practise. Highly recommend. Thank you to all the team for being so kind and welcoming!
