Absolutely stunning place in Swanage. In fact one of the nicest places we’ve visited during our visit whilst staying at Poole. Beautiful views over the harbour, great drinks and food menu, staff are all lovely and very attentive. Dog friendly. Can’t say enough nice things.

We came one night for a drink and some oysters and promptly came back for dinner the next night. Gorgeous views, fresh seafood and young, friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit 😊

Previously visited The Roof Terrace and was keen to return. The menu's exciting, if it doesn't bring on a decision crisis then nothing will. As a foody I'm always on the look-out for something unusual, the crab nachos jumped out at me straight away, and we weren't disappointed. Succulent fresh crab, tossed through peach salsa and spring onion, piled onto home-made nachos and topped with finely sliced red chilli. We also had scallops, served in their shells with lightly grilled Chorizo. The wine list is simple but thoughtful, we had the organic Sauvignon Blanc which was a perfect match.

Second time we’ve had lunch here coming by JetSki. The views are perfect and the staff attentive. We really enjoyed the food and were pleasantly surprised by the standard of it. It’s surprisingly hard to a find a decent standard of food these days at a fair price and this place does a great job and with a young team too.

Regency Dental Practice

P: 01929 422515

Rating: 4.7 (24) Price Level:

After months of intense pain and no appointments at my NHS practice, in agony and desperation I knocked on the door of The Regency Dental Practice and asked them for help. From that moment, the service I received was truly exceptional with sympathetic staff doing all they could to help me. I had an emergency appointment within the hour and an amazing dental surgeon who eased my suffering and removed the culprit painlessly. All I can say is thank you to a wonderful team who literally saved me today. I am at home tonight without the long term suffering I have endured and I'm looking forward to a good nights sleep. Thank you!

I highly recommend their Hygienist, Vicki. She does a first class job and was very understanding and gentle as I am a nervous patient.

I had to have a tricky tooth extraction today as a bridge was also connected to it and a back tooth. Thank you Kelly for putting me at ease. You explained clearly just what would happen during the procedure and luckily my tooth came out in one piece. I would definitely recommend this dental surgery and Kelly. Vicky too is an excellent tooth hygienist.

From the moment you walk into Regency Dental Practice, you know you’re in good hands. I’ve been a patient of theirs for years and the staff are always professional, polite and you know they’ll take care of you. They have invested a huge amount of time and money in making their Practice Covid secure and as always, keeping patients safe - the whole process from booking the appointment, to arriving, having treatment and aftercare is so slick. My dentist Kelly is highly skilled, friendly and very patient. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Stayed at the caravan site, tried a meal on our first night as couldn't be bothered to drive out, pay for parking and search for a pub on a Monday night when all restaurants are closed in Swanage! (Mid Sept 22), had a great steak, season to perfection and partner had whole sea bass so went back 3 nights out of 4n there! lasagne one night great, homemade, and curry's good for £11 Inc prawn crackers

A wonderful Christmas dinner experience celebrating my mother in law's 80th birthday. There were 15 of us, we ordered before the day and the food came out all together, piping hot and well presented. If anything there was too much food, the portions were very large. We had no space for the delicious looking mince pies that arrived after dessert so we asked for a box and took them home! Everybody said how delicious there food was. I had soup and the pie both delicious. Such a lovely night and very helpful staff.

Went for a Sunday roast. Options beef, chicken or pork with all the trimmings. Puddings were lovely, cherry pie and custard and 3 scoops of ice cream… there were more but the cherry pie got me. Large seating area inside with nice decor and large bar. They also allow well behaved dogs. Seating outside also available. Would recommend booking .

Kingston Country Courtyard

West St, Corfe Castle, Kingston, Wareham BH20 5LR, UK | Hotel
P: 01929 481066

Rating: 4.6 (346) Price Level:

We had a one-night stay as part of a short trip to Dorset. Whilst for us the decor lacked a little, the room was very clean, as was the en-suite wet room. A highlight of our stay was the customer service for which they have won an award and we are not surprised. Dinner was tasty - we had some beautifully cooked cod - and the breakfast was good too. The location is excellent for Corfe Castle and the coast.

We have stayed on a few occasions, but we also chose to have our wedding reception at this venue. Julie and her team where fantastic from the arrangements to the day. Food was exceptional and nothing was too much for the staff. Staff are always so helpful and the views from this venue are second to none. For a country side/historic retreat this is definitely one for you to seek. With breath taking views of countryside and the sea. You will have everything you need on your doorstep.

Good value comfortable hotel and a good sized room. Very clean Close to the sw coast path (esp with current 2024 diversion to Kingston) Comfy bed. Good shower. Dinner and breakfast were fine. Some breakfast options had a supplementary cost. This was clear on the menu but I was surprised to be charged an extra 70p for a ham omelette when there was a plate of hand carved ham freely available on the buffet table and I was not having the bacon, sausage, beans etc that would have been included if I had the full English. This seemed penny pinching. Lighting in our room was very poor - Impossible to read in bed.

We’ve just checked out of The Courtyard after a one night stay and are super happy. From the staff to the rooms to the food to the location it was the most lovely stay. We stayed in room 4 the garden suite. We had everything we needed. It was warm and the bathroom had underfloor heating as well as a working towel rail. The toiletries smelt amazing to. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were delicious. Aron was especially helpful and polite with a great sense of humour. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend for couples, families and dogs.

Seduction in the form of sausage rolls in the shop window 😍. Stopped to explore the town and a stroll along the river, this looked like the place to be. Good choice of sides to go with the freshly baked sausage roll, so was definitely a great choice. Coffee good too.

OMG! Never have I been served such a large doorstop sandwich. This is half a loaf! But absolutely delicious, the bread was so soft and the eggs, bacon and sausages were cooked to perfection. Couldn’t eat anything else for the rest of the day. The staff were also brilliant, a real credit to the cafe.

Amazing little gem of a cafe! We were very impressed with the quality of cakes, drinks and actually the prices were really fair too! Super friendly service as well 😊 Vegan food options on the menu. Vegan chocolate cake and vegan treacle tart available on the day we went but sounds like the cake options change regularly (lots of other options too). I had an iced oat milk coffee with caramel syrup which was amazing! And the treacle tart with soya cream which was equally amazing. Dog friendly at the outside seating and dog treats brought out your pooch 🐶

The Purbeck Plaza

19 High St, Swanage BH19 2LP, UK | Restaurant
P: 01929 408911

Rating: 4.7 (73) Price Level:

We originally had booked The Pig On The Beach for dinner but when walking past Purbeck Plaza decided to cancel our booking at The Pig and try this instead and we are so glad that we did! The food was incredible and from 7pm the atmosphere picked up and the restaurant was really busy, the staff were really lovely and attentive and the owner spent some time talking with us and recommending other local places to eat as well. I would definitely recommend booking as we had booked for 6:30 and from 7 the restaurant was basically full. We really liked the fact that the menu changed daily and it was so reasonably priced! We ordered 7 dishes at it came to around £35 + the jug of sangria! We will definitely be coming back when we’re back in Swanage.

The decor was spot on and there was so many things to look at. The latte was slightly watery tasting- but minor compared to the experience overall. A new favourite.

Wonderful place, sitting in the covered outdoor area overlooking the harbour. Service is relaxed and friendly. It's certainly not "Fast Food", but then in this lovely relaxed environment, who cares! Some lovely fish dishes on the menu and for three of us having a main and dessert with a bottle of wine and a pint of Doom Bar the bill just broke the £100 barrier. Food was excellent and we were lucky, the sun shone and we had a lovely lunch. Bare in mind that prices of each dish is cheaper by a pound or two if you are a member of the club.
