On my first visit to Alaska house I was seen by Llewellyn Camilla. She made me feel very welcomed and put me at ease straight away. Nicole the Hygienist was really lovely and spoke through every process she was going to be doing. I'm quite a nervous patient so this was nice to have. She also offered me lots of advice on how to keep my gums healthy. She was very lovely and welcoming! My overall experience so far at Alaska house has been very good, everyone at the practice is so welcoming.

We needed new bathroom sink taps and didn't know where to start. Tap advised on retailers, gave us a link to their site which we explored and we found what we wanted. Tap went and bought them, came to our house and fitted them neatly and left absolutely no mess or rubbish behind. It was as if the fairies had been and all within a fortnight of our first enquiry. Brilliant.

Our boiler stopped working and when I phoned Thomas at Tap he answered immediately and came out within a couple of hours. The spare part was ordered and our boiler was working again the next day. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Very happy with the work that Tap did to repair a leak in a very awkward place recently. They responded really quickly as it was a leak and also kept us informed when they were running slightly late on the day of the repair. They worked tidily and explained clearly what they needed to do. Will certainly use them again.

I very highly recommend Tap plumbing! I’ve recently had two separate plumbing issues (the joys of moving house include inheriting the previous owners bodge jobs) and TaP have attended in a timely fashion, fixed the problems quickly, professionally and have made sure that everything is 100% secure and sorted before leaving. Realistic pricing, no nasty surprises at all.

She is absolutely first class at what she does, which is reflected in the visible and measurable improvement to my gums, and she is gentle and caring. Have been with Black Swan for at least 12 years. It can’t be often that people say they enjoy going to the dentist but I do. The team is welcoming and supportive. Procedures are clearly explained and why one needs them likewise. I can’t praise the whole team enough.

As a very nervous dental patient, I cannot recommend Black Swan more highly. I am currently undergoing a course of treatment with Dooha who is not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also exceptionally understanding and human. I’ve been totally put at ease and feel genuinely cared for by the entire team. The reception staff are second to none, and play such a vital role in the whole experience. I wouldn’t go anywhere else (it also helps that it also feels like you’re stepping into a 5* hotel when you enter the building!)

I have been a patient at Black Swan for several years and have found every part of the service to be exemplary from the Reception staff through to the Hygienists and Dentists. I recently had extensive and difficult work done to correct a problem and Ahmad was so understanding and spent considerable time and effort ensuring that I was happy with the result. I cannot imagine any of my previous dentists taking this amount of trouble. I feel confident in knowing that Ahmad and his team will always strive to choose the best treatment I need.

Only had 2 appointments since joined. Both with Ahmed & so pleased we moved there. Treatments were excellent & I felt comfortable at all times. The staff are very welcoming, friendly & can talk you through your treatment if needed.

Steve and Matt came recommended to me from a work mate who had them do some work for him. I contacted them and said I just bought a house and a new re-wire was a must. A full install and new fuse board were put in, all new sockets and switches etc, all done to a great spec, minimal disruption to the rest of the house, exactly how I wanted everything. Plus they were easy to deal with and speak to throughout the whole job. I recommend them to anyone and everyone now, very happy indeed :)

We recently purchased a house which needed an inspection, and a few fixes. Steve and Matt have been fantastic throughout the whole process. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the work done, and always friendly and helpful. Very responsive, got back to us way before any other companies did, and when we had our inspection done, Steve went through it with us over the phone and explained what it all meant which was really appreciated. Highly recommend F.B Electrical! Definitely be using them again. Thank you Finn. Update: We had our kitchen ripped out last Monday and I needed an electrian Tuesday before plastering on Wednesday. I phoned Finn as he has done previous work for us to see if he can come over, he was able to move his other jobs around to help and was here for half a day sorting the problems that needed doing, my kitchen has been fitted and he moved my one and only isolation switch I had for my oven and hob in one of my cupboards instead of it on show like it was. (See picture) He gave me an isolation switch for my oven, hob and fridge in one of my very small cupboards, and I now have two sockets where the old isolation switch was, We had an very old extension lead for the extractor fan lying on top of the kitchen wall cupboards which wasn't ideal, he put a nice socket in my extractor fan cupboard too. He also fitted a bathroom light, hall light and bedroom light aswell as updating my wall sockets in the kitchen, bedroom and lounge. I'm sure Finn did alot more that I haven't mentioned. Also instead of putting wires for my hob out side on show, he managed to feed them under the floorboards where there wasn't any tiles into the fuse box. Highly recommend, Great work and very tidy. Thanks again Finn, we really appreciate your hard work especially in 29° heat! ☀️

We needed to install smoke alarms in our daughter’s rental property-a relatively small job but important. We found Finn on Checkatrade and we’re very impressed with the reviews. I cannot recommend Chris at Entrust enough. His knowledge is A1. His ideas and designs have the perfect balance to meet practical as well as aesthetic requirements. He is a very friendly and personable chap. He is very aware he is working in your home and we felt very comfortable leaving him to work independently and trusted him with keys to our property. His work standard is A1 as is his efficiency. His pricing matched his quotes and he went above and beyond in every way to make sure we were 100% happy with every aspect of his work. He was very tidy, always using dust sheets and vacuuming up after every visit. You wouldn't have known he'd even been here. We will never use anyone else. Do use Chris, you won't be disappointed.

I was having some shelves made. I popped out and when I returned the carpenter frantically advised me that all of the downstairs sockets had stopped working. This included the kitchen, with a fridge full of food. I rang P.N Gray at 15:00. I left a message and Michael returned my call immediately. He said that he would send Stewart McIntyre. Stewart arrived quickly. Within 15 minutes he had established what the problem was. He repaired it instantly, restoring power to the kitchen before the milk had even started to get warm. I cannot begin to say how excellent P. N. Gray is. This is the second time that they have responded quickly to my electrical problems - the previous incident was related to a faulty smoke alarm sensor. Michael is cordial and responsive, and Stewart was efficient and professional. He was even thoughtful of the carpenter's embarrassment. I would highly recommend P.N Gray for your electrical needs.

We changed the missmatched under cupboard and dodgy cooker hood lights. Stuart has changed halogen to LED so that they are all the same, and replaced broken ones. In the process he discovered that the extractor hose outlet had been bodged. The sticky tape (!) had disintegrated. He went back to the wholesaler to get the right sized reducer. Such a nice man. He is the first ‘leccy’ that has actually taken the trouble to find out why stuff wasn’t working. Everything is now safe, working as it should, and the lights are all the same colour! A very pleasant change from the previous numpties! Definitely a keeper. Thank you Grays. PS Can’t comment on ‘value’ as we haven’t had the bill yet but we will be delighted whatever it is!
