Thoughtful, professional and diligent. We gave Duffett the job of removing our old knackered outdoor EV charger and installing the new one, they did a fantastic job. They provide just the right level of communication and were considerate about impacting our front garden with the work. Recommended.

**Highly Recommend The Carvery** We tried the carvery here today and we were not disappointed. We couldn't book online so chanced a walk-in. It was super busy (remembrance Sunday) but we were offered a table straight away. The staff were all lovely, friendly and efficient. The food was incredible. We both had a large carvery which came with the choice of 3 meats (beef, pork or gammon) and half a rotisserie chicken was put on the plate too. The cauliflower cheese was heavenly and all the veg was delicious. The roast potatoes were easily the best I have ever eaten and the gravy was perfect too. All in all a fantastic experience and we will definitely be returning when I cannot be bothered to do a Sunday roast. We are so pleased we no longer have to drive to Poole for Sunday dinner. The best carvery I have ever had, thank you šŸ‘šŸ»

So, we went to this steakhouse on Tuesday. You know how much we love steaks, and they had this awesome promotionā€”the second steak was only a pound! We ordered the steak on stone, which was cool because we could cook it exactly how we wanted. It came with chips and salad, and it was all really good. The peppercorn sauce was a bit pricey at Ā£3.50, but it was a big jug, so I guess that makes up for it. The atmosphere in the place was great. They had a TV showing the football, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend going there. We spent a little over Ā£40 for two steaks, a coke, a beer, and two peppercorn sauces.

Went in for a drink then ended up staying for dinner, steaks were cooked to perfection (Medium-rare) Chips although slightly small on portion were lovely an crunchy as well as soft/fluffy on the inside. Chicken avocado salad was lovely and fresh, sauces were nice and bursting with flavour. 10/10, blown away for a random stop in, very fair pricing. The atmopshere is really cool, something new to look at where ever your eyes end up and the quality of food is great. Very polite staff, nice and caring about your visit. Certainly will be back.

One of the best breakfasts I've had. The Bacon and Hash Browns were delicious. Would also recommended the Cheese and Mozzarella Pannini. Very good customer service but It took a while to be served and we had to request sauces. A nice spot for lunch in Weymouth

Absolutely loved dining here, it's fairly pricey (then again most food places in Weymouth are) but the quality of the food is amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful, service was fabulous, and the place itself was lovely, definitely has a trendy feeling and very clean. 3 of us went for their breakfast at Ā£10.50 a head which was beautifully presented and super yummy! My daughter had the child's breaded chicken, beans and fries (Ā£7.10 if I remember correctly) which she also loved! Our food arrived fast, hot and none of us had any complaints at all. Would come back here in a flash and would recommend to anyone wanting a delicious meal šŸ˜

Weā€™ve just returned from a wonderful two-night stay at The Smugglers Inn. On arrival, Lloyd greeted us and made us feel welcome instantly - before any money had even exchanged hands he made sure we were ā€˜fed and wateredā€™ after our long drive. Nothing was too much effort for any of the staffā€¦. Special mentions to Rafaela our waitress,Ella, and the bar-staff who really looked after us. The Sunday lunch was fantastic, great menu in general and a great breakfast spread! The room was spotless, cozy and well-equipped. It was my partners birthday and they went out of their way to make it special for him. We would definitely recommend staying here and we have already talked about returning one day. Thanks again to ALL the staff for making our stay so special. Sam and Phil

Just back from a fabulous 2 nights here. What a lovely place, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going. We were made very welcome and the staff were so friendly. The food was lovely and my husband said especially the breakfast. I'm sorry I didn't get one of the managers names who spoke to us this morning, just after breakfast, but she was so nice and a credit to The Smugglers. We will be back.

If you're looking for a cozy pub that delivers on all fronts, this is the place! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed Sunday afternoon. The Sunday roast here is absolutely top-notch. The portions are generous, and the quality is superb. What really sets this pub apart, though, is the service. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. Theyā€™re attentive without being intrusive and always make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. Karli served us today and Hebe greeted us. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hearty Sunday roast in a charming, welcoming setting!

I was on a one night walking break and feeling a little out of sorts. A lovely lady Hebe really looked after me and made me feel so welcome. I called in for a snack and coffee but booked a room. The amazing hospitality continued the next morning with delicious breakfast and Ellis really looked after me. Iā€™ve only been away once on my own before and they really gave me confidence to do it again.

An extremely friendly pub that serves delicious food. It's an old pub, but that didn't take away from our experience. We walked down from the local campsite as their onsite bar/restaurant was full. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. I canā€™t praise them enough for their efforts on one of the busiest nights of the year. Well done to all the staff at the George. Absolutely stunning service! Staff so friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious! I had the Mac & Cheese for a starter (listed as a side), then the Squash ravioli for main. My partner had the vegan bean burger. Wait staff were so attentive and friendly, and the food was exactly how we wanted it - even better! Sat by the window on a stormy day; fantastic views and smashing atmosphere. Would recommend any day of the week! Thank you, The George!

Booked a table for 4 people last night last night, May 24. Had a few drinks and some great food, whilst sat overlooking Weymouth harbour. The whole experience was great. Food was delicious, locally sourced haddock, oven baked was perfectly cooked, mexican burger was enormous, the manager was great. Good variety of food on the menu and a specials board as well. The pudding was so good that i forgot to take a picture of them, I do have a picture of what was left after we finished! believe me they were great! Reasonably priced with 3 scoops of ice cream at Ā£3.50, less that a coffee in some places. We will definitely be coming back

Hatch on the Harbour

P: Not available

Rating: 4.3 (128) Price Level:

Perfect seafood in a street food style. Table for two outside. Great menu balancing choice and simplicity. We had Scallops, half lobster, green beans and chips. Food quality was amazing. Atmosphere lovely by the harbour side on a busy sunny Sunday afternoon. We didnā€™t book so were lucky to catch a seat when we did. Service matched the street food vibe - pretty straightforward no airs and graces. Thereā€™s no loos here but thatā€™s no problem, thereā€™s public toilets just round the corner. Place is attached to a fishmonger which is brilliantly stocked - we bought some great looking mackerel to take home and enjoy.

We had a delicous time at The Hatch today, stopping for lunch on our way about town. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite of our crab, lobster, scallops, and padron peppers! The view across the harbour from our table was idyllic, and we received a warm welcome and friendly, attentive service from Anna. We'll be back for sure!

Situated just by Weymouth Harbour, the small, cozy gazebo/terrace provided a delightful dining experience. The seafood was notably fresh, and the oysters, which stood out as the highlight of the meal, were exceptional. The fish and chips were well-prepared, boasting a perfectly crunchy exterior and tender interior. However, the lobster, although flavorful, was slightly overcooked. The scallops, unfortunately, were disappointingly tiny and lacked depth of flavor. Although these minor shortcomings, the overall meal was enjoyable, enhanced by the picturesque view and welcoming atmosphere.

A spontaneous and delicious supper on the harbour at Hatch. Whole lobster, barbecued to perfection and served with a generous bowl of fresh and homemade chips, and a lovely leaf, mango and pomegranate salad, washed down with a beer and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Reasonably priced (Ā£30 for the lobster+chips+salad) and served with love and enthusiasm.
