I have just visited Princes Street for a wisdom tooth extraction. I have had this wisdom tooth for 40 years and, until recently, I had never had any problem with it. The whole process of extraction was not what I was expecting. The dentist was gentle with the local anaesthetic and the extraction. Thank you very much to all concerned.

After 20 years of poor dentists I have finally found an excellent one. I canât recommend highly enough. Marius has rebuilt by back bottom teeth through white fillings and proper fitted crowns, all for a very affordable price.

We had a baby shower for my sister at The Cow Shed in their Barn area on Saturday, and it was perfect - everything we had hoped for! The staff were so helpful, both in the lead-up to the event and on the actual day. The barn itself is really picturesque, which was perfect for photos. We opted for a cream tea with both sweet and savory scones, and it was lovely. We paid per head for drinks, which guests could get from the private bar as and when they wished. There was plenty of room for games ect too. We couldn't recommend it more. We had the most special afternoon celebrating our new arrival with family and friends. First visit to the restaurant. I was very impressed with our server, who suggested we could move to the adjacent barn where it would be leas noisy. He was right. It wasđ. Food quality was excellent. Amazing food, Amazing ambience and Great service. There was no waiting time, even though the place was filled on a Wednesday morning 10am. Great bunch of ppl running the place. The cowshed breakfast was a delight. The hash browns was one of the best i have tried in UK. Overall, it is highly recommended.

Had the pleasure of visiting here last Sunday we arrived just after 10 and there were already quite a few people here. Offered seating inside or out, we ordered coffees which were very good and then I chose the homemade granola bowl which was absolutely delicious (it was also huge!) my husband chose the Mexican open flatbread which looked amazing, which he said was really good. Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We popped in for Guinness at lunchtime and really enjoyed our visit primarily because of the very friendly locals. It was my birthday and we decided to come back in the evening for dinner. Unfortunately our second visit was completely different from our first. My partner had anchovies for a starter which were lovely and beef scrumpet for his main, I had rump steak with chips. We had never heard of scrumpet, it was a thick square of brisket that had been coated in breadcrumbs and fried. I asked for my steak medium rare, but it was dry and over cooked. I had mine returned to the kitchen so another could be prepared. This meant my partner ate his dinner on his own. My dinner returned and it was perfect, but I ate mine on my own. It wasnât the birthday dinner I had hoped for. No discount was offered, or complimentary dessert. Very disappointing!

We popped in for a spot of lunch while visiting sights around Dorchester. The landlady of the cottages we rented highly recommended the pub and even contacted them about allergens in their foods to help support one of our party who is suffering some medically induced food issues at the moment. The staff were absolutely superb and did everything they could to ensure we had an excellent experience there. The food was typical pub grub, but at its finest and the prices were absolutely spot on. We will be visiting again.

After an emotional day, my partner and I decided we would stay over and booked our room on line. On arriving quite late, we received a very warm welcome and despite the kitchen having already closed, were offered fish and chips without hesitation. Our host did check with the kitchen first but it seemed absolutely no trouble. The rooms were worthy of the most historic public house but still provided all the home comforts one could wish for. After a comfortable nights sleep, interrupted only by the effects of alcohol consumes throughout our day, we descended the stairs to have breakfast. Eggs Benedict and cooked to perfection. The spread was fantastic and would satisfy the biggest of eaters and overall, the standard of what was offered was far in excess of expectations. Would recommend without hesitation and when we return to this quaint little place, we will definitely be booking our room here!

I visited this pub on Sunday on a staycation in Dorset, we just popped in, and were very pleasantly surprised. A girl named Ruby served us & recommended some cider for us (as weâre not from the area) which was great. She was so personable and helpful and made our experience great. We had the best sunday roast today for a very long time! I had beef and my husband had pork. The meat was plentiful tender and tasty. The cauliflower cheese was delightful and the roast potatoes were crisp and yummy, the red cabbage was super flavoursome. There was also plenty of gravey. What a find, we will definitely be heading back very soon. Thanks guys!

Welcoming atmosphere. Dog friendly which is great. The breakfast was one of the best I have had anywhere. Decent amount of food and perfectly cooked. And only ÂŁ7.50 which included tea or coffee. Absolute bargain. Definitely recommended. Will be stopping in next time weâre passing.

4 of us went yesterday to celebrate a 90th birthday, we opted for the afternoon tea and booked in advance. From start to finish the service was fantastic! Owners made a real fuss of the birthday girl, we were all made to feel very welcome, were really attentive, offered more tea and water and even offered to warm the scones - which 2 of us enjoyed! The sandwiches were tasty, fresh with plenty of filling (my fave being the ham and mustard!). The cakes were also fresh and delicious! We were even given a box to bring leftovers home. We have been before for breakfast and that too was a tasty treat!! Would definitely recommend this to everyone! Will be trying the lunches next

Absolutely divine Sunday roast at the Octagon cafe. Choice of 3 meats, lots of veg, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, yorkshireâŠtoo much to eat! Excuse the lack of gravy in photo, that was my choice as I have never liked gravy!! Thank you, I will be back!

A really nice guy. Turned up on time with a great solution to a tricky problem. After a discussion as to how best to provide the lighting we desired Derek suggested a solution which fitted in perfectly with our "minds eye picture" Two days later he returned as promised with all the parts and specialist tools to complete the job. Finished the job in a couple of hours and tidied up like he had never been there. Very pleased with the quality and value for money. We recommend them.

Derek at Amped was great to deal with. We had an electrical issue that left us without heating or hot water. He came out really quickly to both quote and start the work - meaning our heating was restored much sooner than initially thought. He was reliable, showing up when promised and also responding to our questions via text within an hour on average. Lastly, he found a way to get the electrical job done with minimal disruption to our home, and concealed the areas that were necessarily disrupted by the work he undertook. We've got other jobs that need doing this year, and based on this first job, we will definitely be getting back in touch with Amped.

We were really impressed with Leigh at Amped. He arrived on time and worked quickly and neatly to install an outdoor socket for us. Leigh was friendly, professional, approachable and tidied up all mess once heâd finished the work. We would highly recommend Amped Electrical and will definitely be using them again in the future.

We used Amped Electrical Dorset most recently to install three wall lights to update our home. The work was carried out quickly and very efficiently, cables being chased into the walls with the very minimum of disruption and all mess tidied away. Derek was also able to advise us on the best, up-to-date fixtures to use. We have also used Amped Electrical to replace outdated sockets and fit attractive LED lighting to our staircase. Each time weâve been impressed with the quality of the work and Derekâs friendly and efficient work ethic. Highly recommended.

We had water damage from an overflowing bath and as a result one of the electrical circuits in the house was not working. Our engineer was able to set this right at once by putting back the appropriate switch on the circuit breaker to the normal position, the water ingress having dried out. Apart from fixing it, the engineer explained everything most clearly, answered all our questions and was able to put our minds at rest regarding the incident & its effects. He was extremely helpful & thoughtful, and we would be more than delighted to recommend both him and Amped thoroughly.
