**HIGHLY RECOMMENDED** I've been using this vets for some time now and I can't speak highly enough of the whole team. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs. They are kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgable. Anything to do with your pets is extremely expensive, but I don't feel they take advantage of this. They do what is needed and don't try and rip you off. 9 times out of 10 you can get a same day appointment but you will always get one if it's an emergency.

Only have great things to say about this veterinary group. The care provided to both our pets and to the humans is out of this world. We use both the Lutterworth and Broughton clinics and the teams at both are outstanding. Thank you guys for all that you do

Great vets, we have a 15 year old anxious dog and she is always treated gently. She went in for dental and recovered well despite her age. They never seem to push for unnecessary treatments.

I have used this Veterinary practice for years. I find the staff very helpful friendly and knowledgeable. My animals are my world and I wouldn't take them anywhere if I didn't think they would get the best care...

Lovely practice ,staff are very friendly, lovely attitude to customers and their pets , A few years ago my older cat died of cancer and they were so kind and caring and sympathetic towards me ,letting me have as much time as I needed with her after she had passed ,even after they had closed surgery. I received her ashes and they were so kind and supportive Now I take my younger cat there and feel safe in their hands

These vets are amazing. They always go above and beyond with offering lots of different treatment options. They also offer cheaper ways of doing things like giving our cat a saline drip ourselves instead of having the nurse do it. The nurse showed us how to do it and set it all up so we could safely administer it. They don't try to rip you off like other vets I have come across. The reception team are always polite and helpful and try to get you an appointment as soon as possible.

I’m so pleased I took my new tortoise ‘Eric’ to the exotic specialist for a check over. I received so much useful information to help me get things right for my little guy who suffered a bit before I got him. 100% recommended.

I have a female XL Bully who recently had to be spayed. I was extremely worried after hearing so many horror stories about the breed. Fortunately, the brilliant reception team booked me in with Martin, who was very caring and compassionate about our situation. He answered all my questions with genuine and thoughtful responses. My dog is now in recovery, and the operation was successful. She dislikes the muzzle and was a bit anxious, so the lovely reception team gave me a buzzer to wait outside, recognizing that she was getting worked up. Thank you for not being judgmental about my dog. To any XL Bully owners out there, please keep Chine House in mind. They have been amazing. A big thank you to the reception staff, Martin, and the vet nurses for ensuring my dog was in good hands. The pricing was very reasonable, and I would have happily paid more knowing my girl was safe.

Poor Sam was on his way home on Saturday when we rang and he turned round just for us, and talked us through his findings and explanatory points to look out for. And gave us peace of mind that there there at any time should we need to go back. the reassurance is priceless x thank you x

As a family we’ve been using Chine House Vets for 46 years. They’re just fantastic in every way. They are more expensive than some but that’s what happens with supply and demand of a quality service. They’re supportive and will coach and mentor but also very honest when needed. They’ve looked after our dogs from puppies, multiple cats and our chickens. Would highly recommend for small animals I don’t have any experience with large animals.

Craig has been looking after my birds for over 5 years now. 2 weeks ago I had got an appointment for 2 of my chickens to have their regular implants but 1 of my other girls was unwell that day too. I took her with me & even though she wasn't booked in Craig took the time to see her for me. He also saved my turkeys life 3 years ago. I travel a long way to get to Chine House but it is worth it knowing that my birds are in such knowledgeable hands. Thank you Craig. We appreciate all that you do.

I've had cats for 35 years. Jenny, the independent owner of Meadow Lane Vets, and ALL of her colleagues; the vets, nurses and reception staff offer the best care, advice, experience and support that I've known. Great modern facilities and unbeatable attitude.

Our little old dog was sadly put to sleep yesterday after a very rapid decline. He luckily hadn't need to go to the vet often and actually hadn't been for some time but the receptionists were brilliant and booked us an appointment. Geraldine the vet was lovely, kind and compassionate and helped confirm it was the best thing we could do for our boy. Everything was peaceful and calm with dignity.

Cannot praise and thank the vets and staff at this surgery enough after recently moving to the area. Our spaniel Holly was rushed in for emergency surgery after the vet discovered she had a tumour on her spleen. If it hadn't been for quick attention given she would not be here back at home with us now. Everyone at the surgery have been so kind and I really thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of Holly. You should pride yourselves on the compassion and service you provide.

We love this practice, they're knowledgeable, kind and go out of their way to help (especially with our diabetic dog). However I really wish they had an exotics vet. Currently there's only 2 serving the entire Leicestershire area and it can be very difficult to get in with them because of their caseload. There are a couple of others that will see an exotic animal but, as I was told during my search, they don't have an actual exotics vet. I recently had an emergency with one of my hedgehogs and Jenny (pretty sure it was her) was wonderful and agreed to take a look because the one exotics vet fell ill before our appointment and the other was still on his leave. She found part of the problem and was able to give me some medication, but I ultimately had to wait over a week until he could get in at Chine House. Meadow Lane PLEASE hire an exotics vet again!

Took my dog here today and the vet was super. Very understanding and informative, fully explained what treatment could be required and what was required immediately. Cannot fault the staff here all very friendly and supportive of your needs as an owner and of your pet. No hard sell for donations, when you are able to pay towards your pets treatment, it is always received with a smile and a thank you.

I contacted Medivet Thurmaston as my normal vet clinic was closed. My cat had a swollen paw and was limping. The service I received was friendly, caring and supportive. Instead of making me take my cat in and paying for an emergency appointment, they very kindly asked me to send a picture of my cat and his paw via email and got back to me straight away with very helpful advice.

I usually use medivet in syston but when I took my staffy girl for a visit the vet I saw (Sergiu) was based at the Thurmaston branch so we took her there for a drain to be put in her leg. A complication from a cyst being removed from her front elbow. Sergiu was brilliant with Summer, she is an anxious vet visitor but she really took to him. All the staff at both sites are really good. There is parking available, the waiting room is quite big so you arent sitting on top of each other. There is plenty of space if there are other people and pets in the waiting room. I've now moved all 3 of my dogs from syston to Thurmaston. Can not recommend enough.

I rang about my cat and got an appointment within 30 minutes. My pet had to be an in-patient for 36 hours for further examination and tests. They rang me several times to update me and did identify the medical issue. I found the staff friendly and competent. They were honest about what they could and couldn't do, which I appreciate. My cat was discharged with a treatment plan and is on the mend. Okay, the bill was eye opening, but on par for the veterinary industry. Just happy my pussy is getting better!

If you need a vet any other day you need to go to the main service in Beeston. This is the only vet in Shepshed Plenty of parking available.

Not the most friendly vets I've been but as long as they are professional with my pup I'm OK. Bit disappointed they have stopped anuaul injections free after paying £100 when I joined. You pay £100 and the injections are free everytime they are due. Now I've got to start paying for them ,they told me it was never ending.

Honestly, amazing staff and wonderful vets. We had a dangerous incident today with an uber driver that escalated to calling police, and staff went out of their way to make sure we felt safe, reassured, and helped in such an anxiety inducing situation. They helped repeatedly ask him to leave, and were able to help us get home safe. I really cannot thank, or recommend their team more as they're all such lovely people. In terms of pet care too, our attending vet was awesome. Our girl hurt her paw, and he was great. Clearly very experienced, gave thorough snd detailed explanations of possibilities etc, talking us through everything. I get so worried leaving her with people sometimes, but I felt completely at ease with her spending the day there. They really have gone above and beyond with their customer service and I appreciate it immensely. I can't thank them enough. If you want a vet you can trust as a professional, and as a caring environment, definitely go here.
