Pat is an amazing teacher: kind, patient and knowledgeable. She has supported our son during CV19 with his English skills and we kept this going through his final year in primary school. He has ended his primary education more confident in this subject and with excellent reports and outcomes. Highly recommended.

A fantastic tutor! I was tutored by Pat from Year 1 till Year 11. She is a very patient and lovely tutor who has helped me massively improve my reading and writing skills. Before meeting Pat, these skills were below average to the extent that my English teacher had me tested for Dyslexia. With Pat’s support, my English improved so much that for my GCSEs, I achieved an A* in English Literature (With one of my exams achieving full marks) and an A in English Language. Currently, I am a PhD student and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have been able to reach this stage without her.

My son has been really happy to go to his maths and English sessions. His confidence and knowledge has grown so much in these subjects in the last year with Pats help. Cannot praise Pat enough, always excellent communication. Would definitely recommend

Pat is a highly skilled and patient teacher! She has improved my brothers GCSE English language and literature grades from grade 2 and 3 to grade 5 in both subjects as his final result this summer. This was achieved through his tutoring lessons with Pat from September start of year 11, up to his June exams. We would highly recommend Pat as she is a great teacher and my brother has always looked forward to the lessons and showed a huge progress throughout the whole year that resulted in good results at the end. We know that the results would have been even better if we found Pat earlier and started his tutoring in year 10!

I've been with Mrs Pat for 8 years now and I feel like I've significantly progressed with English. I feel more confident in my writing and I am writing at a more higher standard than how I used to. I've used all the tips and techniques Miss Pat has taught me and that has led me to take English as an A- Level subject.
