Andy tutored my son for A level Maths. Andy is a fantastic tutor and I cannot recommend him enough. He explains everything simply and thoroughly and makes the more complicated topics simpler! He is now tutoring my youngest son who again thinks he is fantastic! He has is simply brilliant and is able to go over any area of maths on a week by week basis so if there is something at school your child does not understand Andy can tackle it without any pre planning of lessons which is a fantastic ability! Andy tutored my daughter Sophie through her Maths GCSE. Initially she was reluctant to have any tuition as she did not favour the subject and had very little confidence in her abilities. Andy was consistently reassuring and patient throughout, building up her skills and knowledge. He guided her through everything perfectly, regularly setting her ‘to task’ at a level suitable for her. Sophie’s Maths teacher saw a marked improvement in her work soon after her lessons began. Ultimately, she gained a really good understanding of Maths and got a GCSE Grade 5, which was the highest mark in the paper she sat. Mr Kent is a wonderful tutor. He tutored my daughter for her GCSEs and her A levels and my son during his GCSEs. They received top grades for their exams with As and 9s.
